I love that Abby is clearly Indian in this iteration. Her live action version is as well, plus her mom does seem to be wearing Indian inspired clothing just in winter form, which is cool. It does make more sense because in her scareitage she’s supposed to be from the Himalayas. Which is clearly across the northeastern portion of India, so I’m glad that they culturally appropriated her from her Russian accent prior.
I thought she’s from Nepal. Geographically Nepal is the county that takes up most the Himalayas, in addition Mt. Everest being there. I also thought the clothing had some resemblance to Nepal traditional clothing?

the indian accents seem hella forced. i don’t understand how g1 got backlash for their accents being bad stereotypes when g1 is doing the same thing. it’s funny how most indian kids i know don’t even have an indian accent at all.

I know a lot of people from from India and their accents vary but it’s also a big country with multiple languages. I never had a problem with the g1 accents other than Abbey’s accent not matching where she’s from. If they wanted Abbey to be Russian make her from Russia, yeti’s do originate from the Himalayan mountains and Tibetan myth but still yeti’s could have come from Russia. You just can’t have both, abby being Russian but not Russian was weird.
The Monster High G3 parents are really interesting. In regards to Draculaura's mom, I get the feeling that maybe she secretly knows about Draculaura's love for witchcraft and magic due to maybe momtuition and probably supports her as well as helping keep it a secret from Dracula until Draculaura feels ready to tell him herself. Also, is Heath's dad Hades or the devil because in one episode when Clawdeen made a reaction of "Speak of the devil....." Frankie probably not getting the saying corrected her saying that the devil is Heath's dad. However, the descriptions keep mentioning Hades as Heath's dad so which one is he; Hades or the Devil? Plus, if Heath's father is Hades then that would make Heath's mother Persephone. Therefore, if Hades and Persephone are Heath's parents then Heath isn't exactly a monster but more of a god because his parents are the literal god of the underworld|death and the goddess of life which would make Heath the god of life and death. If so then wouldn't that mean that Heath's powers should have aspects of nature in it instead of just fire? Although it would explain why Heath gets literally fired up by crimes against nature, though who wouldn't be offended?
Cleo does mention her mother and father on the episode where Nefera appears. It is just that she calls them on an affectionate way instead of naming them directly.

I hope we get more of Clawdeen and Clawd's "family", like we see Howleen but I want to see Clawdia. Even if they aren't related I just want to see more of the G1 wolves. Also I love how much more Deuce is getting on his family, because Gorgons are just known to be snake-haired people who turn you to stone(a least in Monster High's world), so Medusa wanting her son to succeed is good but also we know that she's a little "pushy" and wants Deuce to be just like her. I hope she is able to see her son is great at doing things he likes, unless hey have her and Catalina team up to be the "baddies" of this series. Wait, someone told me Heath's father was the Devil not Hades? I am loving how much more all the Monster families are coming together in this series! Also, with Frankie will they make it Dr. Viktor von Frankenstein made them and maybe his first creation The Frankenstein Monster is Frankie's sibling?

That would be a huge revelation that Heath has older siblings and a mom who has to leave her family to spend time with their maternal grandma in the six months that brings spring and summer.

I kinda hate the direction they took with Deuces family. The thing I liked about him in g1 is how unique of a monster he was. In Greek mythology there has only been 3 Gorgon sisters, and that was portrayed in Gen 1 perfectly. There was only two children of two of the sisters. Medusa and a normie had Deuce, and Stheno and what I assume is a serpent father had Viperine. The third sister, Euryale, presumably didn’t have any children. And that was it. I’m not a big fan of the new lore in g3 where there’s like a whole race of gorgons, it just feels silly and inaccurate to Greek mythology. Not to mention I hate that they took away the whole “looking in his eyes would turn you to stone” cause now all G3 Deuce has to wear is normal glasses and that’ll block out the magic, but that’s so lame to me cause I loved that aspect about his original design, the mysterious feel of him always having to wear sunglasses, having to hide his eyes. Not to mention only him and Medusa had the stone gaze power, Stheno, Viperine, and Euryale do not have that power, but in g3 all Gorgons seem to have that power, which makes Deuce even less unique ☹️ I’m just kinda’ve upset with the direction they took Deuce in g3 since he’s one of my favorites. There’s like a lot more things I can complain about his character in g3, but this probably isn’t the place lol. Great video by the way!
