I was just as disappointed when I got them. Frankie looked SO good in the box, but the moment I touched their hair, I immediately knew something was wrong. I ended up rerooting them the very next day, and I gotta say, they're looking MUCH better now. And speaking of rerooting, you HAVE to do a rerooting video on this Frankie.

I know this comment was a year ago, but I saw a short of someone with a prosthetic leg. They cut a new pair of pants, and explained they did it to have easy access to the prosthetic. That's likely why so many of Frankie's outfits have asym pants and shoes.
I’m so disappointed they used poly hair for Frankie and I get that they’re using it for more vibrant colors but Frankie’s core doll has pretty vibrant colors and they use saran there so I don’t understand why they used poly for them, probably just gonna get them for the outfit since I think it looks cute especially the robe they have.

Poly hair just needs a regular wash, then a simple boil wash, then put in fridge to set, then brush it out, then trim the tips and they'll be good as new. Also I do love the creepover dolls and I do like the robes and I think the long pants on frankie suit them well and the colors remind me of gen 1 monster high basic print. But I think they didn't want to give frankie shorts for thwy didn't want the styles to be too similar with each other and the uggs are 💙

They are struggling. After Disney took the Disney Princess dolls from them, their income dropped big time hence the initial G2 soft reboot to make MH dolls without spending too much money and then downgrading EAH for the same reason. They couldn’t afford to keep making them the way they use to because they no longer had that big bucks Disney money rolling in. This is also why so many Barbie dolls we’ve gotten over the many years (especially after MH initially ended) are just the worst quality ever. Cheap fabric or painted on clothes usually the top, thin hair or molded on (seriously some Color Reveals had that and one had a gimmick that was clipping in a rooted in ponytail which looked awful next to a molded on plastic “hair”) and extremely limited possibility. Not even a bend and snap knee so you can at least make it look like she’s actually sitting like a normal person. The Fashionitas are worse as many are put into perma poses that prevents you from doing anything else with them. Add on that MGA has been killing it in the sales since launching LOL Surprise while Rainbow High has been smoking Mattel in every way and yeah despite still going on, Mattel isn’t what it use to be. This is why they brought back MH and agreed to do Disney dolls again for Disney as they hope it will help them regain what they once had. Also Mattel is public so they have to listen to certain groups on what to do with their dolls or risk losing funding and basically going bankrupt. MGA is private so they get to do whatever they want without repercussions or at least without the amount that Mattel would get.
@@Goleon mattel explined the limited movments in barbies is cause “kids dont care about articulation” there was still litrealy no reason for them to give this frankie poly when they gave them saran before, sure you can make the excuse that they didnt have the color they wanted for clawdeen in saran but they did for frankie Even small bussiness are manging to create dolls that are ten times the quality mattel has been puking out yet mattel, the billion dollar cooperation, cant even bother giving its dolls actual good hair textures or articulation or good fashion?? Im not buying it

Do their legs/stitches smudge? I noticed in Twyla’s review you showed that hers didn’t rub off (thank god) but what about Frankie? Did they fix it overall or make some sort of exception for Twyla???

@@JinxChikita I think if they look shiny/have a kinda layer over it, it shouldn’t smudge-!! I’d personally test it in a small hidden spot and if it smudges, you can seal it with msc-
Them and Clawdeen are the only dolls I won't be getting from the Creepover line, at least until they go on sale, simply because I just don't really like either of them, but I think I'll just give them bangs, since I really don't like that their whole forehead is showing, and that's what I like least about them lmao

Poly hair is a lot cheaper material than nylon and Saran ,if you play with a doll with Polly hair it start to puff up and tangle up and create a huge mess and its overall hard to fix and the texture also feels weird, if you swing the hair you can say goodbye to the hair after a day or 2 It's a big red flag ,and incase you want one ,I suggest a reroot, manually or a commission doesn't matter 24 dollars for poly hair that is HORRIBLE is a huge red flag Clawdeen ,Cleo de Neil ,Frankie and the budget dolls have poly hair sadly
Of the 5 creepover dolls, I like this doll the least. Frankie's design seems very plain to me. Ever since G2, Mattel has molded things in plastic (pillows, bow ties, ruffles, neckties, pom-poms, ribbons, etc) that should be soft goods. It's really cheap looking and brings the line down (imo). They didn't even include a hairbrush and you know the ghouls would want to style each other's hair at the Creepover.
