The first thing I thought when I clicked on your video is how pretty your hair looks!! I cannot remember the last time I added sugar to anything. Jim uses it daily in his coffee, and learned very quickly to let me know when the bag is getting low. You are so inspiring, Cheryl. I still have one cup of delicious coffee every morning. Hopefully it won't start bothering me, but if it does, i'll give it up. Love, and blessings, my beautiful friend...MaryEllen
Hi MaryEllen! Letting go of sugar was much easier than I thought it would be. But I would rarely eat sugary things like glazed donuts and I couldn't stand pecan pie (to the dismay of my aunts when I was a child). I'm so glad you enjoyed watching and I'm wishing you and Jim a wonderful weekend... Love and a big hug, xo Cheryl
Looking fab, Cheryl! Your hard work on your hair has really paid off! I am currently on iHerb and Amazon to order those items. There were some others in your last few videos I have to go back on to order as well. Thanks for sharing! Look forward to your next!
Thank you! I'm so happy with the quality of my hair right now. Even though it has thinned out, the hair that remains is soft and healthy. Take care and have an awesome week... xo Cheryl
Your hair really looks beautiful. I really have cut down on sugar so much. I’m like you and that so many artificial sweeteners upset my stomach. The only one that doesn’t is Splenda and I know I shouldn’t have it so I’m trying to cut down on it. This is so inspiring and thank you. I’m going to take your advices. Loved this. 🧡🧡🧡 ps I’m going to try the ginger drink.
Thank you so much, Melissa! I'm glad the info here was helpful. Sometimes I can get overy preachy, so I try to remeber be more neutral in my tone, lol! Oh, and I hope you'll enjoy the Nixie sparkling water as much as I do! Have an awesome day my dear, xo Cheryl
I don’t know how I missed this video. I didn’t have a notification. My G.I. doctor has me on no gluten and no sugar. It’s very hard to find foods that don’t contain sugar in them in the ingredients. It’s amazing.
Thank you Cheryl! So helpful! Have already started on the decaff coffee and it actually tastes better! I am also reducing that sugar intake as it's in absolutely everything and you don't realise! I will become more selective as to what I eat for that sugar rush now. Keep up the excellent work! Love your videos!! 😍🎉😊
Hi Cheryl. I enjoy your videos very much. Do you have a video on your corn sensitivity/allergy? I believe I too have a corn sensitivity but I don’t know enough about it. How did you figure it out? Thanks and have a great weekend!
Yes I do! It's from 2 years ago when I accidentally got exposed. If I link it here, the comment will be held, so if go to my channel page and search for the title "Corn Allergies: Living with Food Allergies, Intolerances and Sensitivities." Actually, just search for "corn allergy" and that should get it for you. It also has links to several resources like derivatives lists and corn allergy blogs. I discovered it by going on an elimination diet. It's not foolproof though because corn is hidden. For example, if you buy a tomato at the grocery story, it will be coated in a wax made from corn. When you react, you'll think you're reacting to the tomato but actually it's the wax. So, I only buy veggies from farmers markets, picked fresh and washed only w/ water (not citric acid, another derivative). I'm sure you have a ton of questions, but start w/ that video and then let me know.
Hello Cheryl.. thank you for a lovely video and for the information on artificial sweetener..lately I started taking them.. but I will stop now .. I love your channel.. take care and God's blessings always 🙏🏻 ❤️
Perfect companion video! I admit to a sweet tooth but nowhere near what I used to have. I do avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague, I just think they’re creepy. And icky 😅. Thanks for the video Cheryl! 😘🤗 - Shaun
Morning Cheryl another helpful video for us ladies over 50 . Have a great day and blessed weekend ❤❤❤my friend
Thanks MaryAnn! Blessings and joy to you, as well... Hugs, Cheryl

Yes, you're right. You really have to stick to the basics: meat, veggies, grains (like wild rice, quinoa, oats) and lots of spices for variety.

Thank you so much and I'm glad you are stopping the sweetners now before they become addictive. Blessings and joy to you as well... xo Cheryl
Greetings Cheryl! Wow, I didn't know all that about sugar substitutes. Yuck! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Yeah, they can do a lot of damage. Enjoy your weekend, my friend... xo Cheryl
