Hello Bonnie. Last year I had an accident which left me house bound for 3 months. After a 28yr gap I decided to buy a 5m hook, ball of yarn and reconnect with a hobbie I once loved. So being a bit rusty. I came across your tutorials. You give easy to follow but beautiful patterns. You inspired me and I now feel back to my once advanced self. After just a few months I built up a collection of hooks yarns and Bonnie playlist!!. I have just made chevron bobble blanket for my baby granddaughter with a verigated yarn. It looks beautiful and I can’t wait to hand it over once we are allowed to be with our loved one’s during this difficult time. Again. During lockdown, you haven’t failed to provide. Please excuse this very long comment. I just wanted to let you know I am a huge uk fan of yours. God bless, stay safe and keep them coming 💕
To be honest, I think this pattern, "blanket" in particular looks best unblocked. The wavy combined with the bobbles looks so texturally striking. Just in my opinion of course. Cant wait to make this. Thank you
Thank you for a lovely, helpful video. I’m not a beginner but I did enjoy going slower because sometimes I get ahead of myself and make mistakes 🤪. My afghan is looking great!
Hi Bonnie! This is my first time looking at your video and I must say I've enjoyed watching you and your method of teaching, you're so precise and I love that. God bless. 👍
Another lovely pattern and excellent tutorial, Bonnie! I purchased the written pattern because I just like to have them, but it’s so helpful to have your videos to reference when i want to make sure I’m on the right track. I learned how to crochet from watching your videos!
Thank you for showing us how to do this baby blanket. I have made children’s sweaters and hats and quilts as charity projects in the past. I was looking for a different project for the women and children’s assistant program in town. I first searched for the pattern of a rippled afghan like I had made 50 years ago, but decided that it was just too plain, even with color changes. I was so happy to see this video come up on suggested videos. I’ve knitted for years but with two new kittens two needles plus yarn has been just too much of a temptation for them. Crocheting makes more sense, because I have a hand that I can use to remove them from my lap and not lose stitches. Keep up the good work. I will past the link for this video on to my left handed friend who also does charity projects. (She finds knitting too hard to do.) Once again thank you for a very clear tutorial. Bless you. If you haven’t done it already would you consider doing a crocheted hat with random bobbles?
Thanks to Covid I've renewed my interest in crocheting. I have done one of your baby blankets and I loved it. The one I'm interested in now is Easy ripples and bobbles but I cannot fine the pattern. I'm a beginner and having the instructions is a must for me. Hope this problem can be solved. Looking forward to some more great crocheting.
Hi Francine. I usually post the link to the written pattern in the video description. Here's a list of the other ripple patterns:ruclips.net/user/BonnieBayCrochetsearch?query=easy%20ripples%20bobbles. Hi Bonnie bless your big heart showing your very cute afghan I just was looking for a ripple with bobble stitch which I love. Been about 15 years doing a ripple. Thank you so much. Always following your channel. I've been doing the mosaic patterns for my kid's so ready to do a bobble blankie . Have a lovely day/night.

My mom taught me to crochet when I was very young, it's been a forever gift from her that I hold dearly in my heart. Loved your tutorial. My first afghan was the popcorn stich. TFS & bringing back wonderful memories for me. I'm a new subbie.❤
Welcome to my channel Elizabeth! Sorry for the delay (not all comments show up in my notification feed). How wonderful that you shared this craft with your mom. Blessings...
Hi Bonnie, I do apologize for misleading information on the color. You’re right they are not easily identified from the internet. Thank you for the correct color.
Love this pattern. I have some Mandala yarn in my stash so I'm going to get busy and make some for charity. God Bless you and Thank you for another great pattern.

I will block it when it’s finished but wonder how it will stand up to being washed. Hopefully it will be ok if it’s dried flat. I think I’ll have to wash it before I gift it. I’ve used a 50 50 bamboo and acrylic. It’s quite soft dk weight and I’m using a 5mm hook.
