Buying one this weekend. I’ve probably watched your video to hear it about 15 times lol thank you for the content man it really helped me!
Same lol mine comes in next week
@@kwitda_spray how has the car been holding up and how does the sound sound like?
I have a gs350 2010 and I live in cali will it be loud enough where cops will pull me over?
any updates? Ive been looking over the internet on what exhaust I should get for my gs350 , ive seen catbacks , muffler deletes any advice
@@senorbonbonany updates? I’m doing the same😂
@@katzaras2959 you got instagram I got you
sounds amazing man
Been waiting on a good video about this it’s cheap and sounds nice !
I love that sound wen it drives by .
Sounds insane. I’m about to get a full exhaust setup on my gs350. No muffler, high flow cats, and a res. I’m super hyped.
Wait .. don’t you need 2 resonators or did you just do the one ? I’m a lil confused
Sounds good for such an easy cheap mod.
Sounds great
Well done!
what did it sound like from inside the car on a long trip? Was it annoyingly loud after a while?
Damn vibrants made it perfect. I have vibrants on my Acura TL, and they fit it too. Kill all the rasp and give a nice rumble. Considering the IS as my next!
How’s drone btw?
The drone was okay, you’ll hear the car but it’s not loud loud
You got any vids on it on your TL ? I’m going single exit next week and debating on getting the 3in vibrant resonator but not sure
@@ua6jj328 I have a few vids and shorts on my channel take a look. Here’s a Dynomax 24215 vs vibrant 1790, all else equal: ruclips.net/user/shortsNtAurl1cxgs?feature=share
So in your single, gonna be deleting all mufflers?
I have same car with muffler delete and same resonator from the video, but now it’s quieter and even further from a pop🥲. could they have put it in the wrong spot or did you add something else besides the resonator?
I just got a muffler delete on my Toyota crown grs184 & I’m definitely gonna get this resonator now,
Hey, that's my fav fish sauce brand on your shelf...
Shiiii!! We out here taking shots of them 😂
how does this sound well cruising on the highway is there any drone in the car
Hey man, what is the model of this resonator? Is it Vibrant 1140 Ultra Quiet Resonator?
Nice setup man , the only thing that im worry about it is drone ?
Bought a 18 inch one for $100, I’ve seen many videos on the resonator, seems legit and hopefully the rasp goes away on my Audi, nice video!
What rear lip are you running? Looks sweet with the body extending all the way down like that, might get one too haha
It was an eBay lip, the fitment isn’t too great though. That’s the only issue
Wow night and day difference!
Does sound annoying? And hows the drone?
sounds really good I eventually thinking of doing a muffler delete or custom exhaust on my 2019 Lexus ES350
Watch my video on the Borla ProXS for the es350 I think its the best
@@SmokeyES350 I just connected to your channel
Sounds good I like the vibrant sound. Do they use any glasspacking or is it just a straight through thing.
I believe it has a glass packing
Didn't sound bad with the delete but the resonator made it sound alot better
It really amplified the sound more
@@Leek_ee yeah. I like the vibrant resonators. Iv got just some ebay knock off on my civic. Don't sound too bad but cars definitely louder then it is fast lol. But it's faster than it used to be after the mini me swap
@@GlassWerx I agree hahaha
@@Leek_ee typical honda lol 😆
@@Leek_ee see I need to delete my res, ima get the same thing, because I got my delete, it’s cool but not as loud as I like lol
what is your rim and tire setup?
Since you have a muffler delete, did the aftermarket resonators improve the drone as well?
Somewhat, drone pretty loud around 2500-3000
What part number do you have for that resonator?
Sick man! did you do any fabrication or did it fit perfectly?
It fits perfect. I got the 2.5”
Just ordered a pair of these thanks to this vid
Why two?
I think these are gonna work for me to quiet down my flowmaster super 10s which sound straight piped
Can this be used to stop drone? I don’t see how it would considering it increases the bass tone but there are many reviews saying it will.
It you get more than one
what size is the vibrant resonator?
What brand is the resonator??
Did u replaced the OEM resonator with the vibrant resonator? Or did u keep the OEM resonator and added the vibrant resonator?
Replaced it. The oem was very restrictive
Have you try the ultra quiet one?
Is the cold start raspy
would it be raspy if i deleted the primary cats along with the setup of no muffler and Vibrant resonatlr?
It shouldn’t cause the resonator suppose to make it less raspy and make the tone deeper instead
goodafternoon bossman, Where exactly did you place / replace the vibrant resonator to? It may be a noobie question lol
It replaced the factory resonator with the after market 👌
does the is250 only have 1 resonator?
With the muffler delete and vibrant resonator did you get any drone? If so.. was it better with the resonator? Or did it sound the same with just the muffler delete? Thanks
Muffler delete with the vibrant res has a loud drone. The stock res had a low tone drone, basically it sounds the same as a muffler delete
I seen a jeep with the 1792 and didn’t delete the muffler it sound ok to me
@@drotusabes4522was it loud?
@ 2:17 is that your 3rd muffler?
Damn, wish G sounded like that with same setup
I have is350 f sport 2020. I should put 2 vibrant on both side or just connect into 1 vibrant?
Both actually
What's the difference in getting a 2.5 inlet outlet compared to 3.0, also what about the length?
2.5 inlet is the diameter of the opening where it welds or connects at. The outlet it the end portion.
Did it make ur car louder?
I also got an axleback, but I have the 2019 is350 awd.
Will this resonator fit mine?
The resonator is universal. You’ll just need to figure out what diameter the piping’s are
Drone noise is so bad what did u do for it?
You set them up right these 250s are fast
I am interested in buying one for my Lexus IS 250 I just would love to know how loud is it too loud or a decent loud please let me know by 1 through 10 I only have a muffler delete right now
About an 8
Wait so did you remove both the OEM rear muffler as well as the OEM resonator in order to replace it with the Vibrant resonator (in original OEM resonator location)?
I did the muffler delete first then the resonator. Having the vibrant resonator with the oem muffler doesn’t really make much of difference.
Yes, in the original OEM resonator location, after the secondary cats Y connection point, before axleback washer. So the big metal can that says Toyota was replaced with an aftermarket resonator.
@@Leek_ee did you put the resonator in the original OEM resonator location? Or did you change the location?
@@caminantemc7484 original location
Did you use one or two resonators
Hey i have a resonator delete and wanted to replace my 2 stock mufflers with 2 vibrant resonators. What do u think?
Two should be good enough
So l recently install the invidia q300 on my is250 definitely made a difference from the stock one but still pretty quite! Do you think adding this vibrant resonator would make it slightly louder or would make it even more quite?!
It should make it slightly louder but adds a tie but more power
@@Leek_ee hey boss, i have a. 2010 gs 350 and I’m looking to get a Megan axle back with a Megan mid pipe, do you recommend to get a vibrant resonator on top of it?
Tips / thoughts? I live in Cali btw
@@senorbonbon yea it would help with the flow of the exhaust. The oem one is very restrictive.
@@Leek_ee thank you for the reply, is there any cons or things I should know before installing the vibrant resonator? And i would only need 1 vibrant resonator ( the one you linked )
@@senorbonbon No cons, just expect a deepr tone or btter tone of the exhuast note. 1 is is fine enough.
Did you just replaced the oem resonator with the vibrant one right and you still have cats ??
Yessir.
Would you get any drone with the muffler delete only?
Yup, but it’s not as loud compared to a resonator delete
do i need to delete my muffler so it could sound like yours? i love that sound! i needed for my 2015 Mitsubishi outlander sport
It’s highly suggest for the muffler to be deleted in order to hear it better
Bolt or welded ? Definitely wanna do this setup for my gs350
Welded
I have a custom dual exhaust with invidia q300 mufflers + ppe headers on my 2is350 it sounds like a Honda civic at 3am if I hit 3k rpm, I added 2 cherry bomb glasspacks, made it sound a bit better but still raspy and high-pitched, wonder if this will make any difference
I think I’ve seen you commenting somewhere else as well. I’ve actually been thinking of getting this setup but after reading your comments I think I’ve reconsidered. Have you changed your setup since? Personally I’m thinking of just going stock headers, high flow cats, vibrant resonators, remark muffler delete exhaust.
@@astorybykevin your setup should sound pretty good, its the ppe headers that are causing most of the rasp
@@astorybykevin hear from other is350 guys that joe z or x force exhaust sound pretty good if u decide to go with dual exhaust + ppe headers, car will definitely be faster with ppe headers
@@zww7033 thanks man, I am hoping the setup will sound good. I know it won’t make quite as much power but tbh I think some of the power gain from the PPE headers just comes from the cat delete anyway. So I’m thinking high flow main cats and maybe secondary cat delete (pretty sure the 3is has secondary cats?)
I actually didn’t even know about the x force. Have you heard sound clips of the joe z or x force with PPE headers? Is it still raspy? I’m planning on supercharging eventually anyway so I’m not worried about getting too much power from just the exhaust
@@astorybykevin more raspy than stock exhaust with muffler delete for sure but still not Honda civic high pitched they were running ppe headers too, I have a friend with a 4is running full apexi cat back exhaust and it sounds really good, he also has remark axel back once but it was very loud, if you plan on supercharging the car definitely get a cat back exhaust that gets rid of the secondary cats there's really no point so keeping secondary cats unless you just want to pass smog, secondary cat delete will also not give you the horrendous carless exhaust smell, but if you plan on supercharging and getting the most out of the car definitely get headers
Do you still got this setup and how’s it been? Not worried about idle and drone but the interior rattling. Did anything worsen overtime?
I’m getting mines, installed this Friday. For $250.
It’s pretty solid from my experience
@@Leek_ee hell yeah, that’s what I wanted to hear!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Why is it so expensive?? Is anything else being done or is that just installment labor? I got mine welded in for $70
Did you need to purchase two since the IS has dual exhaust?
Just one is enough
Amplify the acceleration?!
More exhaust videos plzzzzz!!!!!
That premium fish sauce
Why black smoke tho?
I got a full delete, no mufflers or resonator, sounds super mean
Does is it come with 2 or just one when you purchase it
Just 1
Does this setup have any disadvantages performance wise I want to change the sound but not how the car drives/feels
A vibrant resonator with performance mufflers or axle back will help increase hp forsure
But it won’t have any negative effects?
Hey man, wondering if u have a link to the resonator
It’s in the description 👌
I have a 2010 IS350 with a tanabe axle back system.. looking for some more noise. Wondering if I should try this resonator along with the tanabe before deleting the muffs..
It probably would sound deeper if you did get the vibrant resonator.
I have that exact setup - tanabe medallion axle back with 1792 vibrant resonator. It’s very tame and a very nice deep tone. Perfect for me…
@@xGrizzley that’s awesome thanks for the info! Exactly the sound i’m looking for.
Sean O Did you get that new resonator for your Tanabe system? If you did how does it sound?
@@is4life862 I did!! I got it done this week..I got the ultra quiet vibrant resonator and let me tell you it sounds amazing!! Under 4,000rpm you would barely notice there is exhaust work done on the car, when you get over 4,000rpm it sings quite nicely. Much deeper tone and juuuust a hint of rasp between 6,000-7,000. This is also with my secondary cats deleted.. and also.. no drone at all at any speeds
If you went with a bigger resonator like a Magnapack one, would it reduce drone even more?
1-10 how bad is the drone w/this setup?
The drone was pretty bad tbh, cruising at 2k rpm was just bad
Most straight through mufflers and resonators (regardless of brand) cannot quiet frequencies in the 75-125hz drone range.
He could have gone with the Vibrant 17930 and it might have done better, but you still need a real muffler to really fight drone.
No.
@@FiveBoroNative when I got Megan racing mufflers and the drone toned down quiet a lot.
@@Leek_ee that's encouraging because I wanna iograde the exhaust, but I was looking at just putting Helmholtz resonators on the exhaust.
How’s the car on the streets? I did this with mine a week ago and got pulled over and now a luckily a fix it ticket 😢 how do you even past smog? Back alley?
I passed smog easily since I have all the cats on. According to the shop, as long as I don’t delete the cats. I pass smog with no problem
@@Leek_ee dang that’s crazy.. i guess the one I went to are dickheads.. supposedly my car is too loud with only a muffler delete🤦🏻♂️
Hi! How is the drone on this exhaust set up? I’ve heard it’s unbearable but I love the sound .
It’s pretty bad tbh. It got annoying later on
@@Leek_ee even with the ultra quiet resonator ?
@@AustinsCoins yea
Is it quieter then if u just did reasonator delete? Looking for something a little quieter then straight pipe
It will tone it down a bit, but definitely it will still have a sound
@@Leek_eeI got a muffler delete on my is250 and it sounds good will the vibrant resonator make it a bit louder?? And still give that deeper tone cause I want a little more loud
@@fernandocastillo8026 Its going to make your car louder, I suggest getting two resonator to make the tone deeper but also louder than the muffler delete
How was the drone in the cabin?
Heavy drone in the cabin sadly
Is this resonator the same length as the original?
For the 3is it’s significantly smaller
would this fit on a 2016 lexus is300?
It’s universal, just make sure you get the right sizing
Does it drone more or less with the vibrant resonator?
More and louder
Thinking about doing this with the Megan racing axle back on my is250
did you end up doing so?
Same i have a MR axleback and wanted to make it louder and pop
@@cuudur8168 did you install the vibrant resonator
@@senorbonbon No Im not sure if its worth it. Especially because i need to go to a shop and do it. Another thing to keep in mind is your car has two resonators so like.. im not sure which way to go with that
Can my camry XSE sound like this? inline 4 cylinder
No, IS 250 is using a V6. Lovely cars, highly recommend a late 2008 or newer 👍🏻
Quick question bro, what size is the vibrant resonator, i want to do this on my 2011 is250, I did research and saw the exhaust piping is 2.5 inch diameter, so would I run a 2.5 vibrant resonator, and how long should I go I see some that are 12 inches or 14 inches in length
2.5” or 3” is fine. The length varies depending on the amount of space that is allowed around the resonator. After market resonator is smaller than oem. So any length is fine
Thank you, do you have a link to which one you got, I've seen a few
@@ericknaranjo2074 it will be in the description

2006
what body kit do you have??
The rear is from eBay I believe. I like the idea but the fitment is trash
Welp, looks like I know what to put on my pfp now lol
Did you need 2 of them? Or just a single
One is enough to reduce the raspy tone. Two is you want to make the car a little bit more quieter

Did you do anything to the intake ? I added a k&n stock type filter and it added a few horses. Wondering what cool intake people be using on these cars

@@Leek_ee thanks man
@@Leek_ee I plan on installing the resonator first, and seeing if it’s loud enough, if not then I’ll go with a muffler delete afterwards? Is that fine?
Nước mắm go crazy 😂
How’s the drone?
It’s pretty bad tbh. It’s loud around 1500-2000 rpm
So wait how many resonator do you put in it just one?
Yup, it makes the tone less raspy and has better flow
Talked to my muffler shop today; asked about vibrants. He said its literally 0 difference from the stock one, just costs more. Better to delete the secondary cats, and get an aftermarket axleback exhaust
You install 1 resonator or 2
Only one
Hey man. Should I keep my stock resonator on and add this resonator also? Or delete the factory and add this one?
Stock and adding a aftermarket is going to make it quieter and restricts the exhaust flow even more.
Delete the factory and replacing it with a after market will make it louder with better exhaust flow.
Does it affect fuel consumption
Yes it does, you’ll lose about 3-5 mpg
How much did this cost you with everything…. muffler delete and custom resonator
Roughly $400
@@Leek_ee how about jus the installation , without the stuff you bought?
