Yo I have that same f sport axle back you got on your is350 and figured out that the thing has chrome tips. You just have to scrub at the blackened edges of the exhaust and that thing SHINES
Just wanted to say I recently got the rr racing carbon intake, put on the invidia midpipe, and hks axle back. I got a 2007 is350 black and it’s just the most beautiful thing in the world. I was a bit upset to find out the midpipe took out my cats but to be honest it’s whatever. I do gotta cop the tune soon though because my engine runs lean without it
This is a pretty old post so idek if you still have the car. But, you should definitely look into getting bigger injectors as well if you haven't already. You have a ton of intake flow at disposal. So more fuel and you can do a whole lot with a tune
@@Dreambig62 good luck trying to find one. Invidia midpipe was discontinued a while back. I got it when I bought the car. Didn’t realize it was rare till I made friends with the same car.
I have 08 IS350 with stock 18s. I want to go with 19s for the look 😂. I’m reading that 19s are more a firm ride in bad roads.. and also poor gas mileage.. but not much. Any thoughts?
Since no one has responded I'll give you my thoughts since I too live in NC. 😂 I run 19X8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +35 on a 235 35 and 255 30. The difference in mpg is 2mpg roughly. But I don't think that's size as much as it is the stickiness of the tires. I run summer tires on the 19s so it feels more sticky.
fbo and tune pple make like 300 wheel or so and the car comes from factory with 306 crank so probably around 50hp gain with fbo and tune . just a ball park guestament
I mean if carb is not an issue for you. I would go with full ppe headers, nvdia exhaust or HKS , rr racing intake and rr racing tune. Some people have been boring out throttle bodies as well. For handling some sway bars f sport or sikky
@@flukedracing7150 : Thanks for the advice. Since i don't want to be the morning alarm for everyone on my block I will do something less aggressive for exhaust. But the sway bars you mentioned look like a must.
DON'T INSTALL ANY MODS WITHOUT TUNING THIS CAR!!! These cars have very picky ecm's that will literally lose it's mind trying to adjust the fuel table. Save your money on bolt-ons and do a re-flash, as this car car comes with a shit load of limiters (or you could use a 3GR ecm, has a better OEM tune). From there, work on the handling. Another tip!!!! If you buy the 6-Speed manual, check all the clutch hydraulics (Clutch Master Cylinder, Accumulator, Slave Cylinder) as they could be all seized or leaking. Again another horrible oversight in Lexus design lol.
Most of these mods are sold by Lexus and I have not encountered any issues. Although if you plan on going fbo I would recommend getting a RRRacing tune(more reliable ) as it could make the car run into some issues. As far as intake and a axel back exhaust you should not get any issues unless you installed it wrong and created a vacuum. Furthermore the 6 speed only came in the is250 of this generation.
@@flukedracing7150 A simple re-flash from any tuner would work. These cars like I said, have many limiters. Plus the 6-Speed manual is kinda garbage because all the Tacoma tranny issues just got transferred over (2nd gear crunching, jar of marbles, random grinding because of shitty synchro design lol). I still love my IS even if it's just sitting around.
overhere in my country we also get the toyota mark x, it comes in 2.5 and 3.5 also. the 3.5 on the mark x comes with the same powertrain too same with toyota crown #grx133🔥
I got the f-sport sway bars , f-sport intake, and JoeZ catback true dual exhaust on my 2012 is350 f-sport. sounds refined and deep
My IS350 F Sport has a 5 way harness light weight child seat. 😊
That's Awesome!
The brz differential has 4.10 gears and the whole diff is interchangeable I did it on mine

Where’d you buy your mid pipe? I can’t find them anywhere

I got the K&N typhoon and at light throttle low rpm you can hear it suck in air , it’s sounds like a Turbo whistle
I know exactly what you mean haha you get that a little with the fsport intake but it’s very vague
Can it work for a is250 07?
On the sway bar what about if I got a 2011 Lexus IS350 AWD
Does the F sport air intake fit on a Lexus IS 250 2008 by any chance ?
Yes they do! It has the same air box

this would be true with any car you upsize wheel size in do what makes u
happy bro
good info
I just bought a 2006 Lexus is350 and I’m also new to modifying cars, any do’s and donts to look out for?
These cars are pretty bulletproof just take your time when ever you work on it
full synthetic oil every 5k
Do all maintenance; diff, transmission, coolant.
@@zubuxstein how many miles for coolant change and transmission oil. Thanks man
Ik im late but are the f sport sway bars compatible with 250 awd?
@@Csurratt30 I’m not to sure. I think the front might be different
why do so many have a CHECK VSC light ?
what is that for ?
@@marleensrain bad abs sensor
@@flukedracing7150 oh okay cool
Does the f sport intake increase power or just sound?
It’s mainly just sound but I will say the throttle response is better. I think Lexus says you gain about 5hp
Couldn’t you just cut the hole into the stock air box?
Yes you can that’s what I did. I just bought the f sport and the intake tube separately
What would your opinion on a muffler delete be on an is250?
I have a muffler delete on mine and it sounds nice plus less weight😂
if u really want that raspy tone then go for it,
personally i wouldnt tho
RR Racing tuners.. how much more HP gains?
Like around 10 stock but wit other stuff paired wit it around 15-40
fbo and tune pple make like 300 wheel or so and the car comes from factory with 306 crank so probably around 50hp gain with fbo and tune . just a ball park guestament
this is taking into count stock loss of hp from crank and from age of the car since all 2is are like 10 years old now and will lose hp with age
I like to see results....before and after dino? I don't care about how it sound as much as I care about how it performs. Is anyone with me here?
