      Hey thank you! Unfortunately I haven't dyno'd the car yet. I've been curious to dyno it and see the real numbers too so I may have to do that one day. Driving with the tune off and on is a huge difference though. I leave it in Race mode. The throttle controller and tune is the pair that's most important for the is200t for sure.

      I think if I started with the v6 motor it'd be a good platform but I like the boost option. I should be close to the power of the v6 with the mods and tune that I have wtih spending less than $1200. I do like the power of the v6 engine though.

      theres no 3L v6 in the 3is only the 2is but the 3L was only available in asia, and also if it wasnt for ecu restriction on the is200t it would easily push 300whp as the engine itself is able to hold up to 484hp and the 6tranmission is the same as the isf so its more then sufficent for the running 300whp. only pros of going for the V6 in the is350 and and is300 awd is that they are proven reliable while making like 260whp

    Careful with that throttle controller known problems with limp mode or worse gives throttle when you dont want it 😬

    • @MattyManRC300
      @MattyManRC300 Год назад +3

      its not the throttle controller that gives limp mode, its the piggyback tuner (racechip). I have both and when the throttle controller and racechip are on highest setting, i get limp mode when going too hard. The boost pressure being produced is maxing out the turbo and alerts the ECU. BUT, when throttle controller is on highest setting but racechip is on lowest, there is still considerable power gains and NEVER limp mode in my experience. I've redlined multiple times on each setup just to try and tinker with the settings to find the most optimal one with the best power gains and no limp mode whatsoever.
