For a casual photographer, is this Godox V1 flash unit enough? I would think so. I would think that instead of paying for a cheaper flash and then upgrade, I'd rather invest on the Godox V1 at the beginning and hang on to it. As I mentioned, I am a hobby, not a professional photograhger.
congrats on reaching 500 subs! here's to 1 mill subs! great channel! watched a few videos and love it! new sub here. I use this v1 flash daily for my children photos indoors and bounce off a wall, the lighting is 'chef's kiss' I tried Profoto A10 (since i have some profoto strobes) and although it was great, it wasn't worth 8x the price. Compared side by side, the profoto's colour was more accurate than the v1. V1 has a 'slight' warmer tint. As a jpeg only shooter these days, it's very desirable. I sold off the profoto a10. I'm going ot pick up a few more V1's for sure. When my profoto strobes die, going to go for the godox ad series. I own the ad100 pro that i used for aquarium photography and it works amazing. I have a 600ex-rt and i want to sell it but no takers, heh Those EL flashes are $$$ like you mentioned. great content! thanks for this video!
Great information, just subscribed. Keep up the great work
Thanks!
Subscribed to your channel because you explain things on a base level and bring out the clarity for understanding. You're awesome!
Thanks and welcome!

Definitely more than enough!
@@Joel_Varughese Because I want to start getting into off camera flash use, would the Godox ad100 be a better option in your opinion?

The best one indeed! 🙌🏻

How do I turn off the constant light? I turned it on accidentally
I just came across your video. Well explained plus Godox V1 is a good buy. The Godox V1 Pro is good too but too expensive.
Will it be compatible with the canon R50? 😢
Yes!

You didn’t show the button to turn on the model light on the back of flash 🤷🏽♂️
I prefer the v860 iii
