I want to make these! but if I needed to simplify, do you think I could modify/stuff a halloween demo-mask for the head? like the mask you used to make the head template? we are throwing a party for one night, so we dont need them to hold up long term, just one night/party. I know they won't look as amazing as yours, but brainstorming ways to save a bit of time

I was eyeballing it, but I’d say a pint of paint with about a tablespoon, just enough to have it bond. The paint alone probably would be fine, but I like the way it dries and sticks. Thanks & have fun! I love seeing everyone making these.

I’m making a stranger things themed room and this is one of the things I would love in my room! I’m making a full size demogorgan and a demo dog and baby demogorgans! Goof or opps paint is a mess up color that they sell for dirt cheap. I usually find some crazy cool colors for $5 like Grey, black, green and orange. Ask the paint department for any opps paint and see what they have, I’ve gotten pretty lucky.

Yes definitely, you still might need to take the heads off so the mask will fit. I noticed Home Depot this year 2023 has the dogs again!

Some got damaged some didn’t, it depends on how much you shape and stretch them.
