It’s been two years since the upload. I’d say the black spray paint worked well. The “overspray” added a lot of depth and shadowing to the tentacles. Nice job! Great fun!!

This is awesome! So would the fire and ice light have worked if you had built it thicker, or was the other projection light just better? I have the fire and ice light, so I would prefer to not have to buy another one.
Yes, I do believe if I built it thicker or had the light mounted outside facing towards it. It got down to the last minute and I didn’t have time to play with my lighting. Old interior doors with string light might save a few dollars.
