Helicopter parenting was, and continues to be a disaster.

But a helicopter might be the solution, so to speak.

It's the obsessive, excessively hands-on parenting style that makes snowflakes.

Stared with Antonio Gramsci. Between 1929 and 1935 he wrote Prison Notebooks.

Anything is worse now if it is something that happened in the past and gets repeated because people don't bother to learn from "experience" (history).

The most important difference between today and the past is the ability of these people to organize much more broadly and quickly via social media. Whereas extremists would have been much more isolated in the past, they can coordinate across distances and impose a far greater influence on society than is justified.

How can you use Moral Reasoning to solve problems, when you are not taught morals and you are not taught how to reason.

I think the first panelist hit avery important point: most people are not offended, but are acting in behalf of people they think is.

Just cause it started in the 70s doesn’t mean campuses have not gone insane today.

STOTS it didn't start then. We've had religious nuts who would kill people for talking about philosophies or scientific research that didn't mesh with their world views.

Feeling anxiety =/= anxiety about the thing you're discussing. 3rd guy's argument was crap.
