I saw a bass player once (can't remember his name) who played a 1 string bass. His "bass" was made from an old car bumper, and his "string" was weedeater twine! Julliard (Berkeley?) Trained musician, and an INCREDIBLE player! I never even thought about using this method to learn, but it is BRILLIANT!
You should get your order own tv show your very funny!!!! Filled with joy!!! I’m a keyboard player learning how to play bass thank you for sharing your talents and not being selfish. God bless! Johnny go long!!!
This is cool! My son (6yrs old) said he wants me to teach him to play bass. I had no idea were to start, especially when no one taught me. I just bought a bass and amp and did it. Thanks for the kick start
This technique is akin to the techniques that I use to teach guitar and bass, and upright bass. You are doing a fantastic job of education folks. Keep up the great work you are doing.
Brother alone thank you so much for that demonstration and really really blessed me and just to let you know I am getting better now as a beginner that's all because of you and only you and the Lord of course
Thanks, great educational lesson. How can I get a face to face lesson with you? Next, I want to be a great bass player, should I stay with the 4 string bass or move other learn the 5 strings bass. Your thoughts?
Hi Johnny. I have a Yamaha TRB as well and I found it a bit weak... could you suggest some modification? I am a guitar player, I appreciate your suggestions
I didn't get what you meant after the first string.🤔 I slide the E string(at the F) down and back up. Then open EE, GG A G E. A full video would have been real cool.
SLIDE on the E string from the 3 fret(g) to the 12th fret (e) back to the 3rd fret Then thump the E string twice then the 3rd fret on the E string 2 times then the 5th fret (A) once then the 3rd fret once back to the open E....HOPE THIS HELPS
You are contagious instantly happy. Thanks for sharing bro.
