I have the red and chrome 350 ( just 4 weeks old!) and am still running it in. She is beautiful to ride and great fun. Regarding the engine bars, I have just fitted the other chrome version, slightly less stainless steel. I wasn't sure at first but I'm getting use to them. I fitted them as a consequence of a near drop of my bike recently. When leaving a layby, as I slowly moved off, I dropped the front wheel into a pothole full of tarmac bits and stalled the engine. The bike immediately went down, just touching the lower edge of the chrome on the silencer. With all my strength I quickly managed to retrieve it back upright, and in doing so I slightly damaged my own back! With a full tank and tools on the back, it must be just over 200 kilo's!! Fortunately, thank goodness, no damage to Ruby, my bike!! It was a frightening experience and it made me quickly fit some Royal Enfield engine bars. Hopefully they will protect the bike and engine if it ever happens again. Great video, keep them coming. 👍
Thank you Peter…..I always fit engine bars for exactly the reason you outline….for a relatively small bike it is heavy but so well made….without the bars it would be an expensive drop with all that metal 👍
I rode one on a royal enfield demo day at my local dealer. It had done around 1500 miles and actually went rather well . The engine really suprised me super smooth. They have done a great job on this bike for the price point, its amazing value for money. Also looks great with the rear seat removed. I like it alot..

Correct. A bike that is comfortable and fun at normal speeds makes sense. I've never ridden a supersport capable of 170 mph but I have driven fast cars like Porsches and even a Ferrari Daytona. They are not fun at low speed and the Daytona was a bloody nightmare. They only come into their own at high, and mainly illegal, speeds. I've friends who have powerful sports and huge adventure bikes. Where we live they aren't fun in narrow country lanes...the sports bike doesn't like low speed and twisty lanes and my mate with the adventure bike (which he has finally got rid of) had a series of accidents resulting in broken bones and even got stuck under it in the woods for over an hour ! Great review, and absolutely 100% correct. I have the same colour and model as this and I love it. I sold my 200hp zzr and don't miss it one bit. This bike has the smoothest engine and gearbox I've ever had, and everywhere I go weather it's the village shops or the pub it attracts lots of attention. The vintage style makes people think you've restored a real classic. I have also owned a Triumph 1200 thruxton r and nobody ever commented on it and it was 3 times the price. I woke up one day and thought why have all that power and weight of these big bikes when most roads are 50 and 60 country lanes etc. Best thing I've ever done getting rid of the overtaking power as you don't even get the urge on the classic just happy to plod along and enjoy 😊👍
Thank you Robert it’s a cracking little bike with tons of character. Have a look at my video on fitting the vintage panniers which are really practical an look the part 👍🏻
@@thebingleywheeler yes I'll watch that. Meant to say, I've fitted the 2 stage DNA free flow filter not for more speed but it feels less strangled up hills etc 👍
Thank you for this material, I just bought my RE CLASSIC 350 and was thinking about accessories like a rack and railing. Now I see that everything looks great.
The most honest review I've seen so far. I've had my C 350 for three weeks now and hit the 300 mile mark a week ago. I have to say I almost sold the bike in those first 300 miles as living in Southern California, like you with the hills, it is extremely hard to adhere to the break in recommendations. The main street right off from my house is a 40 mph street with 45 and 50 mph streets all around and stop lights every half mile. The constant stop-start riding is very taxing on this little bike and frustrating to me as a rider. It does get markedly better after the first service but I don't think it will ever be able to solidly handle the freeways needed to get anywhere here. Speeds are at a minimum 65 mph with most traffic flowing in the 70+ mph range. It will be interesting to see how long I can put up with it. My other bike is a CBR1000RR so this is a complete polar opposite that takes alot to come to grips with. Also the comments about the brakes is spot on. It seems like the rear brake actually has more pull down than the front, although they aren't actually bedded in properly, but your observation about having to use both a tthe same time is so true. That being said this is seriously the most fun I have had riding in my 40 years on bikes. The smiles per mile is just off the charts. I just hope it continues for many a year.
Thank you for those kind words sir. Yes running in seems to be an issue with all Royal Enfields but is particularly challenging with the Classic 350 and Scram models (which would include the Meteor, Hunter and Himalayan). Even after the first service there are still advisories up to 1200 miles…..after which things improve dramatically. Did you consider the Interceptor or Continental? My Interceptor was much easier to run in than my Classic or Scram and has more than enough power to handle the roads you describe. Best regards from England
@@thebingleywheeler I originally went in for a Conti GT, being a sport bike rider my whole life, but just fell in love with the Classic. Thank you for the video! Good to know more about how it is to run in the bike. I’m looking into getting a bike after a 15 year break, and have my eyes set on Classic 350 :)
I live in Australia on the Darling Downs.....nice country with plenty of interesting back roads to ride on my RE 350 Halycon Black...purchased April 2022......I have now done over 2000 klms and what a relief after sticking to the running in procedure for so long...however I now find I love the feel and comfort of the RE at around the 80klm mark ...it really is a delight to just to cruise the quiet backroads at this speed or even slower...I have fitted Koni Shocks , and the low rider seat and it is a different bike ...the shocks give a much softer ride and the seat although only a little bit lower makes a real difference getting on and off ...and feels more natural, also much easier to push backwards out of the shed with my feet...I have also fitted crashbars and the extender plate on the side stand as there is quite a bit of muddy ground here at the moment....as may have become obvious I am over 70 yrs but I think this bike is a keeper ...unless RE decide to make a 500 or something...Cheers.
As the owner of a 2018 500 Classic, I can confirm that the design is so good that a lot of people compliment me on the amazing restoration that I have done ! I gave up on the stupid running in very early on and just rode the bike sensibly with quick bursts of speed, when conditions were favourable, but I also did my own servicing from the start with the dealers approval that I bought my silkolene oil and filters from them, so I did first oil change at 50 miles and then as per the manual, I changed the exhaust and silencer and halved the weight and went up a tooth on the gearbox sprocket, I think the original gearing is for the Indian mountain's . The bike has just gone over 6k miles, and goes very well and will see 85 mph on the flat before the he speed limiter cuts in. I love this bike it is perfect fo me but I am tempted by the new 650 Meteor Celestial !
*The Bingley Wheeler* Absolutely love the Halcyon Green colour, as well as the Halcyon blue. These colours are a definite standout, and somehow look to be almost "ceramic" in texture. Looking forward to buying this bike in the next few weeks, but alas, in the Philippines, the available colours here do not seem to include the Halcyon blue and green. They do have the chrome red and chrome brown, but for me the halcyon blue, first choice, and the green as second would top it off for me. Still, not so much as a dealbreaker, as I'd settle for the red chrome, and still feel good about owning this beautiful motorcycle. Thank you sincerely for taking me along as a virtual pillion passenger, and looking aghast at that rather long hill, and thinking I'd hate to have to walk it back up to the village, lol. Cheers and ride safe
Thank you David for those kind words. Colourways do seem to vary according to country. I wanted the Scram in Skyline blue but we can’t get that here in the UK so I had to settle for silver/turquoise. The Halcyon green Classic is a deep gloss finish whereas I believe that the blue is more matt or as you say “ceramic”
I agree on many points, I too have bought a classic in halcyon green in Australia. The running in is hard to do as you can’t exceed 80kph, so that limits you to town riding, as all our roads out of towns and cities, are 100 or 110 kph. I also agree on the brakes, you need to get back into the habit of applying both front and rear brake. Other than that I love it, now I am retired it suits me down to the ground
It’s a great colour isn’t it and a great bike. I’m guessing the terrain is Oz is a little flatter than my part of England….I live 1 mile up a steep hill so not much choice…..I’m also retired so plenty of time….when the weather allows that is 😂
Interesting video Dave, I fully agree with your observations on the running in speeds. I would only add that you are best off over revving a little rather than having it labour. It’s not an exact science and frankly is a bit of a pain. Looking forward to the next ones, I’m not sure about those engine bars but they serve a purpose
Cheers yes it’s a bit of a balance I know labouring rather than revving can risk wear from piston slap so I do tend to break the rev limit occasionally
I love this bike. I nearly bought one a year or so ago but was totally put off by the ridiculously slow running in speeds. 40mph top speed (0-300 miles) would be considered dangerous on the busy roads I ride on. My ADV 350 (incidentally a 350 single too) goes in for it's first 600 mile service next week. I've been riding it at 70mph on dual carriageways and 60mph on fast A roads. In the handbook all it says is; Avoid full-throttle starts for the first 300 miles Avoid hard braking Ride conservatively. As I say, it's really a shame as I love the Classic 350. Ride safe mate. Take care.
Great post, agree with the running in 10, 20 ,30 ,40, 50 as per my dealer and 3 mates who have the J 350, "whatever you do don't lug the engine" I was lucky as my local dealer has a full range of MotoGB bikes and I got the Stellar Blue 350 meteor for £3199 last week and I am upto 165 miles, and the brakes are getting better and better. I was very tempted to go for the red and chrome classic for £3499 but am a cruiser guy, but they look so cool, after 45 years of riding, these bike are more manageable for me now and who want's to go daft on a cruiser, as long as I can cruise at 65mph I am happy, Blimey I only cruised at 65 - 70mph when I had the HD Fat Boy a number of years ago
Lovely bike , I know , had mine for 4 weeks now ! My other ride is a Himalayan, also amazingly good, Enfield can"t go wrong at the moment, just look at the copyists, BSA, and Triumph amongst many, cheers, look forward to more from you,DINO.
Having to run a bike in at those ridiculous speeds, does not inspire me with confidence. Be interesting to see how these bikes fair in a few years. Great information. Thanks David.
Being a bit of an aficionado on pork pies and having sampled the pies from Weatherheads in Pateley Bridge, can I suggest that you give Kendalls butchers a visit (just a one minute walk further up the hill on your right) Their pies are simply the best!
Thanks for this comprehensive review of the Classic 350, I don't think it's a bike I'd ever be interested in owning but I'm sure for those that are this was extremely helpful. The scarification on those roads looked dreadful to ride on, which I can confirm as we had similar on a road up here prior to its re-tarring. Even my ZZR1400 which has good quality suspension didn't cope at all well with it.
Have to agree on running in procedure currently just put 216 miles on it but sticking to max of 45mph but riding around Suffolk no problems as its quite flat Enfield also recommend doing about hours journey and then stopping to let engine cool down . I have ridden all sorts of bikes from customs to sports but for some reason this 350 gives a true experience of what motorcycling is all about strange that mine is Halcyon Black.
Thanks for this FR A great overview. Performance is certainly not what this bike is about. Im seriously thinking of down sizing from my Vulcan VN900. My biggest problem is choosing between the Bronze and the Red. All the reviews I've seen gush at its value , quality and character . The character is something I miss hugely with modern generic full if gadget machines unlike my old Matchless or BSA in the 70s rides. Living in the UK (Suffolk) with its narrow twisty lanes and little ancient villages plodding along at 40 too 50 is just what Imo the little 350 classic will fit in fantastically
Hi thank you. Yes lane plodding is their strong point. Obvs I prefer the Green but if I had to choose between bronze or red it would be bronze (my interceptor is in the chrome and red)….chrome and green would be even better if only they did one 😁
I had a new 125 that i had to run in. I just took it to 40mph and maybe 45mph downhill and it seemed to do the trick. I didn't worry too much about the revs. I think the manual is a bit too strict.
Sub from me!! You sir are eloquent, articulate and entertaining. A pleasure to listen to. I am pending pension withdrawal in October and will be following your RE experiences as these are the bikes I am looking at. Thank you and safe riding sir!
I saw the halcyon green glowing in the sun at the west bay Dorset bike park, then went to G V Bikes of Taunton to look at my son's classic 350 in black and red , and there next to his bike was a shiny halcyon green one ! So what could I do? I bought it! Love it ,
Love these... Certainly interested in getting one and knowing me, and my 600km day rides on my CRF Rally, I'll run it in within 3 days LOL. Nice video man.
A very good review and a very nice looking bike. The points you make about running the bike in in hilly Yorkshire are spot on. Its not easy is it ? I have just bought a new Himmy and have found it very difficult following the running in instructions in hilly Lancashire. I know that for long term performance of the engine I should follow RE's instructions but boy is it difficult, in particular when you are in a flow of traffic. Love the Himalayan though and will persevere. Happy riding feller.
Thank you sir….yes my Scram 411 even worse at first but at 900 miles now starting to loosen up but I’m still not exceeding 55 mph….the hills are impossible but a subscriber from idea contacted me to say that there are plenty of hills there and they just go for it 😂
what bothers me is the gearshift lever which I have to change to the version with the option of shifting gears from the bottom of the shoe. This Original is difficult to use in motorcycle boots. after that I have nothing to complain about
I just bought the marsh gray signals, just putting it to and from work to break it in. It feels extremely slow, but i know once its broke in and the revs can go higher it will have plenty of power. I almost want to buy another one since theyre half the cost of the triumph i wanted lol
I really like the look of those engine bars. Though I feel like they stick out a few inches too much. Makes the bikes proportions look a bit off. Is the any bars with that or a similar design that's a bit closer to the body of the bike?
Another nice vid. Thanks for the info. I love how you stare out 😳 those lorries 🤣 Picking mine up this Saturday. I've gone for the "Dark" Gunmetal Grey version.
I think with running in guidance I'd personally say " don't thrash but be gentle" wow you got a clock on that?? the Interceptor doesn't have such luxuries when the engine sounds like it's dragging its ass up a hill change down, no Biggie..... I would just add not overly keen on the crash bars they look like they should be on a CBX
Ayup mate. I just passed my bike test (UK) and ordered my first bike, a Halcyon Black 350 Classic. In my recent riding lessons the instructors taught me explicitly to use both brakes, definitely not just the front one. I can't see how never using the rear one would be an advantage, except if you're just a bit lazy and can't be arsed to do it. Using both brakes is going to be safer and bring you to a more controlled stop. Would you really expect RE to have put two 300mm discs on the front of this thing like a sports bike, when it has 20 horsepower? Regarding your comments about the running in period, I wonder what you'd like RE to do about it! All engines need running in. There's nothing to be done about it. I get what you say about it being a pain on hills, but I've just spent 2 years on a 125cc that only did 55 on the flat, so I'm perfectly used to going slowly and having cars behind me wanting to go faster. You just do what you can, and the cars behind you have to wait. Simple as that. Secondly, on running it in you have to stick to 40mph-ish on the flat as well, which I imagine is just as frustrating as going up hill, so I think the only thing to do is slow down to the recommended speed, take your time, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery you have around you in God's own county!! Best regards. Enjoy your pie.
It’s a very different matter running a bike in on hills to the flat. On the flat you can maintain an acceptable speed by selecting higher gears….up steep hills (of which we have so many) it’s all but impossible and you’re often down to 10-15 mph which frustrates and confuses other road users. I only reference this so that people looking to buy the bike are aware of the issue before they commit. I’m not expecting RE to do anything about it
@@thebingleywheeler You may well be right mate. I'm about to find out - my Classic should be with me in a couple of weeks and I live down in the Chiltern Hills nowadays (very close to TMF by coincidence), so I'll soon discover for myself!! Have a good evening.x
@@thebingleywheeler Heh. No worries. You are right, but that classic headlight/gauge cluster cowl is really attractive. I'd like to see someone take one of those off a Classic and mount it onto an Interceptor.
I think the speed in any given gear is only applicable in ideal conditions such as straight highway roads. Otherwise it would not be possible to drive a classic on hilly terrains. Also in india these bikes ment to go to the highest possible terrains such as ladakh area, where we have also the highest peak points which are known as roof of the world and I don't see any Indian following the manual there because it's not really preferable to drive this heavy bike on a hilly highway in speeds or gears described in the manuals. So I don't think you have to worry much abt it, it's a mechanical machine and can take everything you throw at it. So just enjoy the ride and drive as per the roads.
@@thebingleywheeler you're welcome. You can also check for indian bike vlogs on RUclips for reference as most indian bikers ride Enfields to ladakh and they are the only capable bike's to work on those harsh conditions such as low oxygen levels. It may provide you further insight on these bikes because i am not an Enfield owner so I can't speak behalf of them. Maybe those videos can help you.
My problem is that the closest Royal dealer and shop is 76 miles all highway 65 mph from me so how am I gonna get the oil change and 300 mile service done on it? That's only thing stopping me from buying it cuz I don't thinknI can maintain the schedule especially since it will be the break in period as well so I can't go on the highway for 70 miles at 65 mph. What do I do? Nobody else can do the services but Royal dealers?
@The Bingley Wheeler Is that allowed for the warranty? I was under the impression you had to go to the dealer to maintain the warranty? If not than I could do it myself and that would be preferred or at the very least take it to a local shop who'd charge half the price and is 1 mile from me.
I think you just have to apply common sense regarding the running in period and ride the road at a safer speed, regardless of the running in max speeds. Doing 20mph and being overtaken by frustrated cars is a recipe for disaster. Nice bike tho.
i'm on 1500km. the front brake was a bit snatchy to begin with but it has settled down. gonna do a 1500km oil drop tomorrow to eliminate any scarf. btw,, i'm in germany hence the km thing. also, while i'm on, what about the dna air filter? worth a go?
Why in England would you pay more money for a fake British motorcycle than for the real thing? Like a movie 🎥 the original is always better than a remake or a copy. Any of my BSA 250 singles are 10 X better than an cheap Indian faker that pretends to be something it's not.

Sounds great which crash bars have you fitted?
Thanks much for the info on those great upgrades! Your going to get me in trouble with the wife again...lol...I owe you a pint...
@@rodgough4581 you’re most welcome buddy 😀
They sound even better with either the hickcocks decat pipe or the red rooster exhaust from India sound a bit louder but deeper note
Cheers buddy I’ll take a look at those 👍
As the owner of a 2018 500 Classic, I can confirm that the design is so good that a lot of people compliment me on the amazing restoration that I have done !
I’m doing the same with running in now on my classes 350 but I got the dealer to do the first service as I couldn’t get the tank off😂
@@thebingleywheeler Yes that would be a problem, on the EFI engine the valves are hydraulic and you don't have to touch them which is a bonus !
I’m guessing the terrain is Oz is a little flatter than my part of England….I live 1 mile up a steep hill so not much choice…..I’m also retired so plenty of time….when the weather allows that is 😂
@@thebingleywheeler it certainly is mostly flat here in northern Victoria , that’s for sure.
Cheers yes it’s a bit of a balance I know labouring rather than revving can risk wear from piston slap so I do tend to break the rev limit occasionally
i live in cologne which is flat as a witch's tit. running in should be a doddle.
I just brought my Halcyon Green Classic 350 home two days ago. What an amazing bike.
They are a beautiful thing and so full of character…..and of course you have the best colour 👍🏻
I love this bike. I nearly bought one a year or so ago but was totally put off by the ridiculously slow running in speeds. 40mph top speed (0-300 miles) would be considered dangerous on the busy roads I ride on.
My ADV 350 (incidentally a 350 single too) goes in for it's first 600 mile service next week. I've been riding it at 70mph on dual carriageways and 60mph on fast A roads. In the handbook all it says is;
Avoid full-throttle starts for the first 300 miles
Avoid hard braking
Ride conservatively.
You are riding this beauty the way it's meant to be. Spot on with gear vs speeds breakup. In India RE is not a bike it's an emotion.
It’s an emotion for me too 👍🏻
I think that your running in speeds are a good idea, I did pretty much the same on my meteor, and your point on hills is completely on point
Cheers buddy yes it’s a pain
Lovely bike , I know , had mine for 4 weeks now ! My other ride is a Himalayan, also amazingly good, Enfield can"t go wrong at the moment, just look at the copyists, BSA, and Triumph amongst many, cheers, look forward to more from you,DINO.
Completely agree with you and thank you for your kind comments. Much more to come on all three bikes 👍🏻
got my halycon green in pennsylvania end of august . already drop it for break in . im coming from wr250r and dr650 so royal feels like charm
Old habits die hard - I've never got out of the habit of using both brakes simultaneously. Same with driving, always depress the clutch when starting.
Wow…just noticed 8k subs…well done👍
Cheers buddy 😊👍🏻
Having to run a bike in at those ridiculous speeds, does not inspire me with confidence.
Be interesting to see how these bikes fair in a few years.
Great information.
Thanks David.
You are most welcome
Many thanks for those kind comments much appreciated
Have to agree on running in procedure currently just put 216 miles on it but sticking to max of 45mph but riding around Suffolk no problems as its quite flat Enfield also recommend doing about hours journey and then stopping to let engine cool down . I have ridden all sorts of bikes from customs to sports but for some reason this 350 gives a true experience of what motorcycling is all about strange that mine is Halcyon Black.
I’ve just picked mine up and did 14 miles yesterday and bored with the running in already, luckily though most of my roads are 30mph and now 20mph.
It’s a painful process and utterly embarrassing if you live in a hilly area
It’s always more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow!
Now that's what I call a true motorcycling axiom 👍
Thanks for this FR
A great overview.
Agreed manual is over cautious
Sub from me!! You sir are eloquent, articulate and entertaining. A pleasure to listen to. I am pending pension withdrawal in October and will be following your RE experiences as these are the bikes I am looking at. Thank you and safe riding sir!
Thank you for those kind words….very much appreciated glad you’re liking the channel 😊👍🏻
Thank goodness I live in Florida USA hardly any hills here so it’s perfect!
Braking evenly is the way i learned to ride and on dirt or gravel a lot of time rear brake is best
An experienced rider will use both brakes, almost always, and know how much front and back, according to road conditions.
Grand bike love the thump thump
Hadn’t realised you had 3 RE great selection you have there, do you have a favourite amongst them
Interceptor on balance Stanley
I saw the halcyon green glowing in the sun at the west bay Dorset bike park, then went to G V Bikes of Taunton to look at my son's classic 350 in black and red , and there next to his bike was a shiny halcyon green one ! So what could I do? I bought it! Love it ,
Love these... Certainly interested in getting one and knowing me, and my 600km day rides on my CRF Rally, I'll run it in within 3 days LOL. Nice video man.
Thank you so much for those kind words….enjoy the running in just avoid any hills 😂
The manual advises you to not run the machine for longer than one hour continuously. It is a real pain. 😄
@@weltsauerstoff Dang... Make that 2 weeks to run in so... Lol
This Original is difficult to use in motorcycle boots. after that I have nothing to complain about
You can't beat a good sausage roll, I just subscribed.
Thank you Gary 😊👍🏻
I just bought the marsh gray signals, just putting it to and from work to break it in. It feels extremely slow, but i know once its broke in and the revs can go higher it will have plenty of power. I almost want to buy another one since theyre half the cost of the triumph i wanted lol
Once you get to 1000 miles it gets another cylinder from somewhere 😂
Wonderful review, and good insights!
Thank you for those kind comments 😎👍🏻
I really like the look of those engine bars. Though I feel like they stick out a few inches too much. Makes the bikes proportions look a bit off. Is the any bars with that or a similar design that's a bit closer to the body of the bike?
Hi yes if you look at www.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com there are smaller ones
nice ride
Another nice vid. Thanks for the info. I love how you stare out 😳 those lorries 🤣
Picking mine up this Saturday. I've gone for the "Dark" Gunmetal Grey version.
You’ve gotta stare at a lorry or two 😂
@@thebingleywheeler 😂🤣👍
I think with running in guidance I'd personally say " don't thrash but be gentle" wow you got a clock on that?? the Interceptor doesn't have such luxuries when the engine sounds like it's dragging its ass up a hill change down, no Biggie..... I would just add not overly keen on the crash bars they look like they should be on a CBX
Yes the one thing I really miss on my interceptor is a clock! And the bars are coming off 😂

Beautiful motorcycle. I hope they fit the 650 engine in it someday.
They already have…..it’s called an Interceptor 😊 Though I know what you’re getting at 👍🏻
@@thebingleywheeler Heh. No worries. You are right, but that classic headlight/gauge cluster cowl is really attractive. I'd like to see someone take one of those off a Classic and mount it onto an Interceptor.
P S I find it more comfortable than the bonnys I have owned , personal point of view !
Good choice sir! I find it the most comfortable bike I’ve ever owned and that’s a lot of bikes 😂
Thank you that’s very interesting and also reassuring…..makes a lot of sense…many thanks for taking the time to reply 👍🏻
@@shubhambhati7087 thank you so much I will certainly do that
I booked it tomorrow
My problem is that the closest Royal dealer and shop is 76 miles all highway 65 mph from me so how am I gonna get the oil change and 300 mile service done on it? That's only thing stopping me from buying it cuz I don't thinknI can maintain the schedule especially since it will be the break in period as well so I can't go on the highway for 70 miles at 65 mph. What do I do? Nobody else can do the services but Royal dealers?
Why not do your own service?
@The Bingley Wheeler Is that allowed for the warranty? I was under the impression you had to go to the dealer to maintain the warranty? If not than I could do it myself and that would be preferred or at the very least take it to a local shop who'd charge half the price and is 1 mile from me.
As I understand it in the UK provided you follow the correct servicing guidelines and document the service the warranty must stand
@@thebingleywheeler OH interesting. I'll have to look into that and see how it works in the USA. Thanks for the heads up on this.
I think you just have to apply common sense regarding the running in period and ride the road at a safer speed, regardless of the running in max speeds. Doing 20mph and being overtaken by frustrated cars is a recipe for disaster. Nice bike tho.
I completely agree
Did you replace the handle bar ?
