I am an Indian And have seen thousands of classic 350 vdo over the time.. Seriously this is the best one that I have ever seen till date. Bcoz ..I just felt it.. Thanks Buddy.
Nicely shot , loved the camera placement showing the swinging needle so the speed dial . It’s a beautiful looking motorcycle, couldn’t resist myself and got one too !
I'm 66. I've been riding bikes since my dad put me in front of him on his old Bullet and let me hold the handlebars when I was 12. We always have had a Royal Enfield in the family since then. My son owns a 2013 Bullet. I have a little 100 cc Yamaha commuter bike but have plonked down the advance for a Royal Enfield Hunter recently. Waiting for it to be delivered.
I bought the same exact bike here in Seattle a little over a month ago. Absolutely love the bike! Coming up on about 500 miles. Really wish I could ride where you were!
That exhaust sound is lovely isn't it, and a reason in itself to have one of these. I currently own an Interceptor, but next week by some strange dismorphication it will be turning into a classic 350. I think the video would have been better without the music, just the wonderful tones of the exhaust.
Hi, I have worked out how to reduce wind noise on the setting now on my Go Pro Hero 10 and also added a foam wind cover so now I don't use music on these films now so folk can listen to the lovely noise of the Enfield! Cheers Bruce
I had an Interceptor and downsized to a 350 Meteor. I never regretted the change (however, later forced to reluctantly say goodbye to the Meteor as my (relatively) local Royal Enfield dealer ceased trading so servincing logistics became a problem ). Whilst I did enjoy the whole of the video production 👍 I did wonder at the choice of background music. My late brother married a lass from Shetland and moved to live there. He played the violin for a hobby, and also composed a few tunes in the style of Shetland Folk Music. My own thoughts on listening to the soundtrack (and now being super critical) were that some gentle Scottish folk music would have been an ideal pairing (but, for the benefit of us Sassenachs, maybe not bagpipes !).
Fantastic Bruce thanks for sharing ,this is the second clip I’ve watched and must say the content is superb the best on you tube regarding the classic 350 👍 Regards Dave from Cupar
Very nice review easy to understand to the point and true, l have the 500 classic and love it its military green with side car l have a lot of fun. These bikes are the last of the old world l hope they keep on making them once again well done enjoyed your presentation
I would love to purchase a Royal Enfield ! I've been riding motorcycles since I was 11 years old and I'm now 67. I still love to ride and still working part-time. The Enfield 350 would be perfect for my 82 mile roundtrip to work, but the closest Royal Enfield dealership is at least 160 miles from my home. With a new Enfield needing a 300 mile first checkup, by the time I got it home, it would be time to take it back for 1st service. That's just not practical right now.
My 350 is in today (left at shop yesterday) for its 300 mile service with 800 miles on the clock! As have had to use it for commuting as my van needs a new engine, so you could do it a bit later than 300 if the engine shows no sign of power loss from tightening of valve clearances
The brothers live here in East Lothian 😉👍 Marcus in North Berwick, Mike near me in Dunbar, we need another album! It’s been 10 years since Tomorrows Harvest
Stunning coastline. Good decision to buy the 350. I also had an XT500. Yep, they're worth a lot now. My favourite 350 colour is the desert one, followed by the army green. I live in Thailand. Not sure what colours they've brought in. Even cheaper here. Around 3K GBP. I have a KTM 390 Duke which has had a cheap airbox mod and a 14T rear sprocket, meaning it's a bit taller geared. Doing your sort of commute it gets 103 mpg. Knocking around the city: 87 mpg. Really pleased with that.
Watching this, It’s just dawned on me why I’ve been bingeing on your channel of adventures with the RE 350 Classic - it’s not just the striking Scottish scenery, it’s also because it’s your only motorcycle. I’m tempted to trade my Tracer 7 for one myself - like many, it’s the classic styling, value, economy, and laid-back approach to riding are the big appeal. However, I only have the time, funds and garage space for one bike - too many RUclips owner reviews and owner comments (not all, but a lot) run along the lines of “ooh, I love my 350 Classic, I’ll often walk past my GS and Hayabusa in the garage and take the Classic” 🙄 Looking forward to another Scotland trip this autumn but alas, with the car - I’ll not get my wife and the dog and all their luggage on a bike 😂 Anyway, enough whinging from me - great bike, and a great channel 👍 My RE dealer is only 30 mins away - I must make that call…
Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip to Scotland in Autumn! 😁👍 Be more films on the 350 soon!, lots of places to go film and show amazing places! 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
Greetings from Hamburg in Germany! The People say, the most english city out of England!! Since one year i drive the Meteor in fireballred and now i bought the Classic 350 in the same colour from my friendly dealer! Only one time i was in Great Britain. It was in 1981. I drove to the TT Rces with my BMW R65 and i visit the Triumph Workers in Meriden. All english people i met were so friendy!!! I enjoyed the Trip to the TT.
I actually really like the Gunmetal grey colour, but it’s a shame they are not bringing the Signal variant to the UK. Lovely to see the beautiful East Lothian countryside in your video. I’m over in Fife, but your’s is fine country too. I’m hoping to get a motorcycle licence soon and will be looking for one of these Royal Enfields as my first bike, but maybe in Halcyon green.
This is a brilliant motorcycle for a new rider or like myself returning to two wheels with its user friendly easy manners, I’m doing a 2nd 1000 miles film soon. The grey bike is nice and no chrome is good for winter commuting, but the alloy engines of the other models look lovely,
I’ve had my halcyon gray classic since last July , absolutely love ❤❤❤ mine . I’ve clocked about 900 miles thus far , all in sw Montana which is grand to ride in . Thanks for post , post again after paint please.
Hi John, I have a playlist on my channel of my Royal Enfield Classic 350 where you can watch in order the films I have made with the changes to the bike along the way 👍😁 Cheers Bruce
Hi and thank you! 😁 the 350 Enfield is the perfect bike for touring Scotland! Thank you for watching and stay tuned for more Enfield adventures in Scotland! 😁 Bruce
Just had a holiday in Gullane and recognised some of these roads I think, looking at a Royal Enfield Scram 411 potentially and trying to get through to Saltire for a nosey. Thanks for sharing your experience
I can understand you wanted to respray it to signals livery but that was also a lovely colour. Just got my signals insured today, no excuses for it sitting in the garage now as the forecast is dry and milder for the next 3 days here in Cumbria 👍🏻 time to start the running it in.
Hi Adrian, it was no more than a week after I finished painting mine after MotoGB said not bringing Signal models 3 months earlier when I bought my Stealth Grey last July when it was announced MotoGB we’re stopping bringing in RE and that RE we’re setting up their own U.K. Distributor and first batch of bikes arrived including… yep! Signals models! 😂 I loved the bike stock and think it would be even better in a gloss Grey finish than metallic. Enjoy your new Signals bike!, I saw the marsh grey one at Saltire MC in Edinburgh been sold so I may see another one this summer! 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
Love this color with the black engine & exhaust! It really pops. I ordered mine in Halcyon Grey, arriving in 2 weeks or so 😎 I was torn between that and Signals Tan, but I went for the shiny chrome. It'll be a unicorn where I live, here in Harley and sport bike land 🙂🦄
Hi, good review that, think RUclips must be one of the best marketing tools for Enfield atm, they don't seem to be putting a foot wrong, I have an interceptor 650 which I love to bits, value for money and easy to work on, but I can see a 350 classic in the garage in the near future, makes you wonder though how Enfield can produce bikes at there price and the Big manufacturers can't 🤔, enjoy the beautiful scenery up there and ride safe, cheers Chris
Thanks Chris, totally agree about Royal Enfield this now, great value bikes, and the price for such a fine built bike is unbelievable!, I think we will see a lot more of there bikes with such a great product. Looking forward to doing my own maintenance as you say their designed to be easy to work on, cheap easy to maintain - how motorcycles should be made, and really enjoyable to own and ride! Cheers Bruce
Great review, straight talking and no bull. I have an Interceptor at the moment, done 8,000 miles with no problems, I've test ridden the classic 350 and didn't want to take it back to the shop, it was more comfortable than my Interceptor, and I dare say smoother. I'm really tempted to get one, especially as the fuel consumption is so good 👍
Loved this video That monument started our geocaching travels Love the golden vista of the fields Looking forward to seeing more blogs of this amazing bikes travels.
I am very tempted to get one of these bikes. I currently own a Triumph Street Triple that I’ve had for 6 years and now has 50k on the clock. I think I will keep the Triumph as it’s running great still but at this mileage I will be offered peanuts selling it privately or trying to trade it! My Dad has the older 90s bullet 500 with left hand side gear shift with one up three down pattern so totally opposite to modern models. I’ve always admired its simplicity and charm and it’s always great fun to ride, when you get your head round the gears! Will head to Saltire for a test ride when the weather gets better. Great channel.
Hi, thanks for coming to say hi and telling me your future plans, always nice to hear from folk 😁 the Classic 350 would make a great second bike and if your riding your dads older bullet you already know of the charm of this type of bike and its rewards at its speeds in the right environment, prob best keep your Triumph too as you obviously love it having done those miles on it 😁 The J series 350 motor is a gem and you should go test ride one, i bet you will love it!, and at the asking price nothing short of probably the best value bike for smiles per miles 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
@@Coastriderscotland Thanks for your reply Bruce, will absolutely get a test ride. Getting on the old bullet requires a different mindset, when you can accept its power styling and limitations it’s an awesome, fun go anywhere motorbike!
Enfield is a complete motorcycle, sense of accomplishment for investing in valued product, talk about sound, feel, strength, technology it just being part of the motorcycle world, you can't buy history it has always served mankind!
Thanks Stanley, definitely easier to make a point to point film with a motorcycle than the old Willys Jeep I have!, My love of motorcycles has defiantly been reborn with this wee bike! Cheers, Bruce
Thank you for the nice video. Motorbikes are great, but so are the views. I would like to ride my own motorbike there. From a Japanese who have a Royal Enfield Bullet 500.
Great video, thanks. I've noticed some in this colour have a blue line around the wheel rim, did you have that and remove it or can you elect to have it all black (my preference!)?
While I plan my Army Despatch paint scheme for this bike I'm already wondering if I can afford a second one of these lovely to ride bikes in a year or two!, in a shiny chrome/alloy finish! im thinking styled like a 1960`s street scrambler would look ace!
Guid man! Always have a motorbike in the garage. Love a 4 stroke single, sounded lovely under the bridge at Whittingehame. Ah had a DT175 MX too, loved that bike, wheelied everywhere. Will gie ye a wave if ah see ye out on ma 690.
Great review. Collect mine next week, black one. I'm looking for stencils for the tank to do a military version. Any idea where to purchase from. Regards Keith
Held off for a year waiting to see the reliability of this new lump . Pick up a Red and Chrome next week . A bike with soul. Modern Techno mode bikes are great but totally characterless
Hi, and your right about modern bikes bring soulless and no character, You will definitely find the charm and character in the Classic 350! Such a fun lovely bike 👍 Cheers Bruce
That's a nice ride man. The classic look, the really nice color combo. Those bags are nice too. I haven't seen the 650 in that color combo, I think it would look kickass in these colors. Beautiful ride, beautiful scenery, all by yourself, what more could you want? You picked the right bike! It's nicer than the gray!!
Fine example of a classic motorcycle... Follow Mario ADV to see what one can really do. I have 2 bigger ones but always enjoy a road trip on the Memphis Belle....
Hi, I also bought a Royal Enfield Classic 350 and I have no regrets too! why should I..? great bike ... !!! I have a lot of fun on the Italian mountain roads ...
Hi, it does have a good exhaust note for a stock exhaust!. It was 300 mile serviced at local bike shop Saltire motorcycles in Edinburgh where I bought it
Never owned a motorbike; my pals got into BSAs as I got into pushbikes but that looked and sounded great. It's given me an idea...however, you will be cited in the divorce! Ride on!
Hi like you I was looking to buy one of the military style 350 RE Classics, as all orders are sent to India to be made, is there a reason why they can’t ship the military styled ones to the UK. I live in the Scottish Borders so would be using Saltire Motorcycles to buy one as well.
I do not know why the Signals models are not being sent to the UK, and no one from Royal Enfield has actually said why online anywhere or in a return email - I asked them this very question in an email and got no reply!, there seems to be some comms issues between RE India, the UK Importers and the dealers, read this mentioned a few times on social media, Only thing to do is get the stealth model in black or grey like mine and get the spray gun out! pr a professional painter to do it,
Hi Dylan yep got graphics and stickers along with made like a gun stickers which just arrived to add when the weather warms up, still Ivey weather here this now! Cheers Bruce
Very nice sounding exhaust and beautiful scenery shots. Keep the vlogs coming. Looking to get my first motorcycle (Imt58), and this model is one of the top 3 choices. Others being the Himalayan and Scram 411. Will be test riding them all before making my pick here shortly. Could you please share the links to the saddle mounts and the saddle bags you put on the Classic 350?
Hi, Hope you get the motorcycle you want and enjoy many miles of freedom and fun!, the saddlebags and pannier rails I bought from Indi via eBay I would not recommend as poor quality with badly fitting bags and rust starting on the welds of the rails. instead of spending half as much as genuine ones from Hitchcocks UK I now wish I had done so and had better quality ones. Lesson learned by myself! Cheers Bruce
@@Coastriderscotland Bruce, that's very sound advice! I'm leaning towards the Classic 350 Signals Marsh Grey. The dealership has 2 of them. And was looking for the pannier frames and bags. If I end up getting the Classic, when time comes to buy the frame and canvas bags, will definitely heed your advice and wait for the good stuff from Hitchcock's.
Hi Christian, thanks, the panniers were bought on eBay via India but unfortunately they were not genuine Royal Enfield bags or racks are are really poor quality, half the price at the time of genuine items here in the U.K. but have been false economy, Cheers Bruce
Hi Bstory, I would advise to not buy on eBay from India as I did as these turned out to be copies and false economy with the frames not fitting easily and wrong length bolts and started to rust at welds in no time at all, and the bags cannot slide over the incorrect shape racks and they faded from grey to white in 2 months, I am going to replace the whole set with genuine Royal Enfield items from Hitchcocks U.K. which will cost approx £85 for the racks and £125 for the panniers in brown or green 👍 Cheers Bruce
I really wish that the Classic and the Meteor had enough horsepower to be legal on the highway in the U.S. of North America. They are so beautiful and comfortable. They are affordable but not practical. I need something like this that can handle a ten thousand mile round trip (or more) from coast to coast when I want to visit relatives. I see European RUclipsrs on their "epic" 2,000 mile Journeys and think, that's everyday life over here. I want to ride like that but I can't afford the upscale of my continent, so I'm stuck driving my Kia Sorento.
Hi, these are the cheap option copies from India via eBay and not genuine bags, sadly they fade in colour quickly and do leak if really wet, it is the second set in a year as first pair rotted after winter, there is still no brown or Army green genuine RE panniers at Hitchcocks U.K. so I had to buy another pair of copie bags on eBay for summer hols, good thing is they are under half the price at around £60-£70 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
Hi I think US models possibly have the cast wheels on some model options, the cast wheels are available to buy here in the U.K. at Hitchcocks U.K. which then allow tubeless tyres 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
You will probably lose in top speed as the Classic is restricted to 75 mph max - but maybe if like me you want a Vintage looking British bike with out the oil leaks , dodgy wiring and a bike that starts on the button every morning to go to work, then one of these could be indeed for you!, At least go get a Demo ride of one and you will I bet be left scratching your head ho a 20 bhp bike can be so much fun and relaxing to ride!
Lovely bike and scenery! I just got back from the Black mountains on my 125 and def was a struggle on the hills. So am wondering whether the classic has enough oompf. Have to test! But where I am its fairly flat...maybe the Scram a possibility. (Having that extra 4bhp). Otherwise the classic is so lovely. (reason being I found I needed around 55 on the Welsh twisties or had people up my ass).
RE bikes which are exported to Uk and US are really top notch quality checked. But the one which are sold in India are not properly quality checked. Coz foreigners will sue the company for quality issues, but Indians blindly fall behind brand name and unnecessary emotions.
Hi, why not service the bike yourself? as long as you keep a detailed photo/ or video documentation with Genuine parts your warranty will still be valid. I bought my r,e 350 from Saltire and they quoted me £260 pounds for the first service. Not sure if this was parts included or not but even if it was ,its still pretty steep for a basic bike.
Hi Liston, I will get the first device done next week with them, then probably service it myself at correct milage and as you say keep a record with video and receipts, already ordered filter and plug, sump washer etc from Hitchcocks
@@Coastriderscotland OK. thanks for the reply, just thought I would let you know. I am going to do all my servicing at the correct intervals myself. cheers
Hi Robert, 5000 miles now, I did not ride Feb as off work I’ll, then had a loan of a car March, I previously was doing 500-750 mikes per month, winter nearly over so back commuting as from today!😁👍 cheers Bruce
The Balfour Monument was built to comemorate James Maitland Balfour died 23rd Feb 1856, made his fortunes in the 19th C Railway Boom. A Tory MP whose son Arthur became Prime minister in the 1840`s
The landscape, that exhaust note. Those sights and sounds....nothing more a simple man would ever need. Truly visceral.

Nice sound engineering, being able to hear the single's deep note over the background music is something rare on RUclips. Well done. Nice review!

I'm really tempted to get one, especially as the fuel consumption is so good 👍
The perfect bike for those roads
Hi Mark, yep it is in it's element around here, I love riding the bike so much!
subscribed as soon as I heard boards of Canada at the start
Thanks, BOC are awesome!, think I have used all their available tracks now on my films over the years

Good enough to have fun. RE bikes worth more than the numbers on charts.
Such a fun bike to own and ride 😁👍👍👍
Loved this video

That is a very nice looking bike. Enjoy !
Thank you, I’m loving it!
Lovely bike, Bruce. I'm fair jealous!
Hi Gary, hope your well, got a 1000 mile review to start filming over this weekend 👍😁
@@CoastriderscotlandI'm looking forward to that.
Hi, thanks for coming to say hi and telling me your future plans, always nice to hear from folk 😁 the Classic 350 would make a great second bike and if your riding your dads older bullet you already know of the charm of this type of bike and its rewards at its speeds in the right environment, prob best keep your Triumph too as you obviously love it having done those miles on it 😁
The J series 350 motor is a gem and you should go test ride one, i bet you will love it!, and at the asking price nothing short of probably the best value bike for smiles per miles 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
@@Coastriderscotland Thanks for your reply Bruce, will absolutely get a test ride. Getting on the old bullet requires a different mindset, when you can accept its power styling and limitations it’s an awesome, fun go anywhere motorbike!
Really liked the camera angle to show speedometer
I will use that again, its the Go Pro Hero 10 on a magnet mounted on the handlebar clamp
Enfield is a complete motorcycle, sense of accomplishment for investing in valued product, talk about sound, feel, strength, technology it just being part of the motorcycle world, you can't buy history it has always served mankind!

man I wish there was a bigger version of this exact bike. It just looks soo good. If only in had the 650 engine but looked exactly the same.
I think your prayers will be answered soon as RE filed for rights to use Classic 650 😉😜😁👍👍

Great views filmed really well bike is wonderful all round
Thanks Stanley, definitely easier to make a point to point film with a motorcycle than the old Willys Jeep I have!, My love of motorcycles has defiantly been reborn with this wee bike! Cheers, Bruce

Great video! I would much rather hear the sound of the exhaust without the music! Thanks
Hi Steve, thanks for watching 😁👍 i dont put any music now on the Enfield films as so many folk comment on what a lovely exhaust note it has 😁👍
Thank you for the nice video. Motorbikes are great, but so are the views. I would like to ride my own motorbike there.

looks great with those bags!

@@Coastriderscotlandwhere did you get them? :) i want a classic 350 too
@@Daniel_Kani eBay has a lot of cheap copy RE panniers in loads of different colours 😁👍
@@Coastriderscotland ok I'll check there if I ever get a bike :) need to get my license first.
Looking good, can't wait to see it painted up
Once 1000 miles and next service done hopefully I can get the tank painted up nicely, then the rest can get done a bit at a time Phil!
Great video, thanks. I've noticed some in this colour have a blue line around the wheel rim, did you have that and remove it or can you elect to have it all black (my preference!)?
Hi this bike was a Stealth Grey before I painted the grey paintwork Olive Drab, the wheels along with engine etc is satin black
Same colore of mine! Good choice bro!👍
Good choice!
A nice variety of footage there, and very well put together. Well done, sir!
Thank you, It was fun filming around the country roads here, this bike is perfect for around here!
I picked up a chrome/bronze and its really something special.
Told you I would be back on motorised two wheels again! 😁👍
Great review. Collect mine next week, black one. I'm looking for stencils for the tank to do a military version. Any idea where to purchase from. Regards Keith
Thanks Kieth,
Have a look at www.axholmesigns.co.uk for army stencils

I'm coming to this late, but great video Bruce. Where is this monument, you have visited it in a couple of videos now, I think?

@@Coastriderscotland Brilliant! Found it on Google Maps. That's another site added to my voyages in 2023! 👍

A beautiful machine to be sure
I think so too!
Held off for a year waiting to see the reliability of this new lump .
Pick up a Red and Chrome next week .
A bike with soul.
Modern Techno mode bikes are great but totally characterless
Hi, and your right about modern bikes bring soulless and no character,
You will definitely find the charm and character in the Classic 350! Such a fun lovely bike 👍
Cheers Bruce
That's a nice ride man. The classic look, the really nice color combo. Those bags are nice too. I haven't seen the 650 in that color combo, I think it would look kickass in these colors. Beautiful ride, beautiful scenery, all by yourself, what more could you want? You picked the right bike! It's nicer than the gray!!
Thanks 👍
Cheers Bruce
Fine example of a classic motorcycle... Follow Mario ADV to see what one can really do. I have 2 bigger ones but always enjoy a road trip on the Memphis Belle....
I'll check it out! 👍😁
Hi, I also bought a Royal Enfield Classic 350 and I have no regrets too! why should I..? great bike ... !!! I have a lot of fun on the Italian mountain roads ...
Good choice!
Engine sounds great. Did you do the oil change and valve check at 300 miles?
Hi, it does have a good exhaust note for a stock exhaust!. It was 300 mile serviced at local bike shop Saltire motorcycles in Edinburgh where I bought it
Never owned a motorbike; my pals got into BSAs as I got into pushbikes but that looked and sounded great. It's given me an idea...however, you will be cited in the divorce!
Ride on!
This is one motorbike you should try Ey up! it's lovely to ride
hi. You thing is ok for 6.1 ft height or small ?
Hi, yes bike is fine for 6.1ft height! 😁👍
Hi like you I was looking to buy one of the military style 350 RE Classics, as all orders are sent to India to be made, is there a reason why they can’t ship the military styled ones to the UK. I live in the Scottish Borders so would be using Saltire Motorcycles to buy one as well.
I do not know why the Signals models are not being sent to the UK, and no one from Royal Enfield has actually said why online anywhere or in a return email - I asked them this very question in an email and got no reply!, there seems to be some comms issues between RE India, the UK Importers and the dealers, read this mentioned a few times on social media,
Only thing to do is get the stealth model in black or grey like mine and get the spray gun out! pr a professional painter to do it,
Do you have the Royal Enfield tank badge for your bike yet? Enjoying your videos by the way :)
Cheers
Bruce
@@Coastriderscotland Bruce, that's very sound advice! I'm leaning towards the Classic 350 Signals Marsh Grey. The dealership has 2 of them. And was looking for the pannier frames and bags. If I end up getting the Classic, when time comes to buy the frame and canvas bags, will definitely heed your advice and wait for the good stuff from Hitchcock's.
Could not understand most of what was said, this was how I watched (and enjoyed) the movie "Snatch".
😁👍
Hello, great bike ! - Where are those bags from ?
Hi Christian, thanks, the panniers were bought on eBay via India but unfortunately they were not genuine Royal Enfield bags or racks are are really poor quality, half the price at the time of genuine items here in the U.K. but have been false economy,
Cheers Bruce
Please tell me the site where I can buy side bag mounts and pannier bags. I want to put it on too.
Hi Bstory, I would advise to not buy on eBay from India as I did as these turned out to be copies and false economy with the frames not fitting easily and wrong length bolts and started to rust at welds in no time at all, and the bags cannot slide over the incorrect shape racks and they faded from grey to white in 2 months, I am going to replace the whole set with genuine Royal Enfield items from Hitchcocks U.K. which will cost approx £85 for the racks and £125 for the panniers in brown or green 👍
Cheers Bruce
I really wish that the Classic and the Meteor had enough horsepower to be legal on the highway in the U.S. of North America. They are so beautiful and comfortable. They are affordable but not practical. I need something like this that can handle a ten thousand mile round trip (or more) from coast to coast when I want to visit relatives. I see European RUclipsrs on their "epic" 2,000 mile Journeys and think, that's everyday life over here. I want to ride like that but I can't afford the upscale of my continent, so I'm stuck driving my Kia Sorento.
well this bike can deliver that. try the interceptor 650 if your looking for more power
😁👍
Can you share where online we can get those bags?
Are they water proof inside ?
Hi, these are the cheap option copies from India via eBay and not genuine bags, sadly they fade in colour quickly and do leak if really wet, it is the second set in a year as first pair rotted after winter, there is still no brown or Army green genuine RE panniers at Hitchcocks U.K. so I had to buy another pair of copie bags on eBay for summer hols, good thing is they are under half the price at around £60-£70 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Should have bought original panniers from re... 🙏
Yep I should have!, Hitchcocks have them in stock in green so prob order them soon, these ones will go on a push bike for shopping duties!
Beautiful bike! What kind of Shoei helmet is that?
Hi, the helmet is a EX-ZERO, built in slide down clear visor, I also have dark lens MX goggles for real sunny/windy days
@@Coastriderscotland Thank you for responding! It looks really nice. Will probably get one for myself
You forgot your camera on the last scene while leaving the monument.
You are not Very Bright are You?
Ha ha 😁
How much the price Sir ❓
£4250
Anyone know why some in this colour have spoke wheels and others have black alloys?
Hi I think US models possibly have the cast wheels on some model options, the cast wheels are available to buy here in the U.K. at Hitchcocks U.K. which then allow tubeless tyres 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
@@Coastriderscotland cheers mate get mine delivered tomorrow here in Australia, it has the black alloy wheels 👌 cannot wait to go riding…
mate question:
Ive got a ktm 690 smc-r from 2021
Should i trade it in for a classic 350? :P
You will probably lose in top speed as the Classic is restricted to 75 mph max - but maybe if like me you want a Vintage looking British bike with out the oil leaks , dodgy wiring and a bike that starts on the button every morning to go to work, then one of these could be indeed for you!,
At least go get a Demo ride of one and you will I bet be left scratching your head ho a 20 bhp bike can be so much fun and relaxing to ride!
That bike should have hydraulic valve adjustment,a belt drive, and a kick starter.Chain drive is expensive to maintain compared to a belt drive.
😁👍
Quick question, I know the meteor has a gear indicator on the odometer bit, does the classic have one?
No
My Classic does not have a gear indicator
You live in a little country with slow speed limits and no real mountain ranges so it should do fine.
The bike is indeed ideal for here!
Hi, the classic 350 will hold 55 ok 👍
i bought the same one, the engine gets overheated
Sorry to hear that, I removed the CAT and did the usual air filter intake and filter mods and it has run better for 7000 miles now
Cheers Bruce
RE bikes which are exported to Uk and US are really top notch quality checked. But the one which are sold in India are not properly quality checked. Coz foreigners will sue the company for quality issues, but Indians blindly fall behind brand name and unnecessary emotions.
Love this bike!
Bienvenue dans la communauté ✌️🇨🇵
😁👍
Hi, why not service the bike yourself? as long as you keep a detailed photo/ or video documentation with Genuine parts your warranty will still be valid. I bought my r,e 350 from Saltire and they quoted me £260 pounds for the first service. Not sure if this was parts included or not but even if it was ,its still pretty steep for a basic bike.
Isn't first service free?
@@shashankmishra02 not in the wonderful U.K.
I am going to do all my servicing at the correct intervals myself. cheers
Paid £210. In Hampshire UK if that helps £260 sounds steep.
How many miles have you done now
Hi Robert, 5000 miles now, I did not ride Feb as off work I’ll, then had a loan of a car March, I previously was doing 500-750 mikes per month, winter nearly over so back commuting as from today!😁👍 cheers Bruce
