I hate the Solo movie. It might be because I have the Solo trilogy books (now legends 🙄). And know how good of a back story they could have pulled from.
I did think Glover did an excellent job as Lando. He is the only part I did like about the movie. I didn’t mind him having “feelings” for his droid. That kinda thing is nothing new for sci-fi. I didn’t like how Disney pushed the point of him being pan-sexual. That wasn’t needed.
I thought that said "Lando is Black?!" and I was thinking, "well, yeah, wasn't he always?"

"Doing? Doing what?" "Doing my job..." - the scene goes on to the point where he fires her and she has a meltdown.

He wasn't the issue in Solo thou it was the script. A properly written Lando movie with him staring would work, problem is WHO is writing it.

Is it strange that I see Everyone's point? I LOVED the SOLO film, I thought it should've been a trilogy with a connected story through all 3 films with Han, Chewie and Lando being dumb and having fun and explaining why these characters wouldn't hate each other, and why Han is afraid of Boba Fett.

Solo was a good movie. Watched it a bunch of times. Disney just screwed up the prequels which hurt Solo....IMO

I think the development of Lando's movie is dependent on Mando movie. Should it success LucasFilm will greenlight any movie deemed will be the legacy of KK, however should Mando's movie flop...
I'm not going to bother with the Mandalorian and Grogu film. I'd rather read the original EU novels, including The Crystal Star by Vonda McIntyre and anything by Troy Denning than watch any KK product.
The Mando movie has a tiny budget compared with everything else Disney does these days. But that’s good for the movie, because with a smaller budget it has at least a chance to succeed.

Or buy comics, books, merchandise etc etc. Star Wars has died under Kennedy and Filoni. Favreau can't save it. We only can enjoy what came before Luke Skywalker became a t*ttie milk drinker, Han Solo walked into a lightsaber for no reason, the child of Han and Princess Leia was an immature temper tantrum adult and Palpatine ultimately winning through his granddaughter usurping the name Skywalker whilst we have lightsaber wielding whippers, sympathetic Sith, voyeurs in caves and fiddlers running around destroying the prehistory of the SW verse.
@@ShannonCarter55 The Star Wars fandom is so huge that even it’s decline leaves a lot of people that watch something, if it hits the right notes. The decline may be accelerating with stuff like The Acolyte, but I‘m confident that a good Star Wars movie (and good is the point here) still can hit 400+ million box office. While that would be a disaster for i.e. Rise of Skywalker that had 400 million budget (before marketing!), it’s more than enough to repay Mando & Grogu with it’s 120 million budget.
Yes, that will not save Star Wars or suddenly bring back the enormous merchandise sales of the past. But for this one movie, it’s at least a chance to not be a flop.
