    My favorite part was when you say it’s a bolt on but yet you cut part of the frame. Not only that but I also loved when you used the grinder and left the exposed metal without any paint so it would rust in the future

      Dude - they spent time showing you how to remove lug nuts, LOL, if anyone doesn't know how to remove the tire, they're Knuckleheads so they won't even know what a hub or bearing is anyway 🤡🤣

    Are those blocks tapered so that you have the correct pinion angle?

      I know it's crazy late for this but yes Rough Country blocks are always tampered to prevent axle wrap

    Did you had to cut anything on the diferential the installation guide for 6.5 in lift kit they had to cut down some parts of the differential like 3/4 in where the bolt goes thru to hold it down plus a bracket install on it i am looking for a lift kit that i won t have to cut any part to the diferental is this the case with the 5 ins ?thanks guy!

  • @BuchananZ34
    @BuchananZ34 9 лет назад

    Have you had any issues with the drive axle connecting to the differential when re installing with the new 5" kit? I cannot connect the axle back to the differential after putting the differential spacers between the differential and frame. The axle is now hitting my exhaust and can not come any lower to connect to the differential.

      No it will not but you can go with Model 261.20 ( www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4217 ) which will fit the 2wd.

    What would be the best way to use the 5 inch lift and somehow get around another inch out of it considering you would need something for the back block of the truck because i know you could just use the bilsteins for the front but what could you use for the back to get aroun 6-6.5 inches to fit 35" tires without trimming.

    • @sdtrucksprings
      @sdtrucksprings  10 лет назад

      In order to fit a 35" tires, you will need around 7" of lift. The best way to do this is to go with say the Rough Country 264.20 kit (7.5" of Lift).

    Yeah, I don't like the fact that you don't let us see the way the truck looks at the end, which is stupid, because you showed us everything else, so naturally we'd want to see what it looked like. Also, I sure as hell wouldn't be using this lift kit, there's just too much modification done to the frame and other parts, I surly wouldn't be cutting my frame and other mounts with no damn Sawzall! lol.

      There's no other way to drop the lower control arms - well, the only way would be to completely remove both frame cross members and weld on new ones.

  • @EnzoMoresi-mj8bc

    Don't want to be less than appreciative for posting this - every install vid helps someone somehow but given the complexity and more than basic knowledge this requires, do we really need to see how to remove lug nuts? You could start the video showing it down to the disks. Every minute helps.
