Some of our astute followers have noticed me slurring my words.I am not drunk but working with Brad it would be justifiable. I had 6 infected cysts removed from my mouth (noncancerous) & I have residual scar tissue and numbness. I will try to do better. Thanks Bob.
I'm glad it wasn't more serious I thought it might have been a stroke.
It's good to see you Bob! Glad you are getting better.
You be you--we love you!
Look for Dr Helene Langevin wore
I'm sure you always do your best. Thank you for hanging in there to help us. I know at this point that you have something more serious. 🙏
Oh yay! Anytime, day or night! You are they 2 most famous physical therapists on the internet! In my opinion, Bob and Brad! God bless you for all you have taught me, us!!!🥰
🤣🤣
Perfect for me. I developed back pain after visiting my chiropractor who twisted my spine like a pretzel to try to straighten it a bit. I tried the bending down and bending one knee at a time….very good. Didn’t do others. I feel muscle spasms which I never had before. But just doing the one exercise and thinking about the massage tool…and heat? I feel better already. This all happened in the lower back.
Try Magnesium for spasms
My back pain is from fascia. I bought the book and couldn't find the exercises on video, so thank you!
Can't wait to try all of these. Thx. Super helpful!
Using the visuals really helps with understanding what needs to be worked on. You guys are rock stars (of internet PT)! Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
So happy you’re back Bob. Hope you’re feeling better. I love you too I watch you every morning at 5:30 while I’m bouncing on my trampoline. So I need 15 minute videos. Lol
Thanks!
Thank you for this! I have curvature/scoliosis, and lots of fascia that I'm battling. Very sedentary, but trying not to be. I get sick easy though so it's been a struggle juggling it all.
I love these two. Gratitude.
Hope your feeling better please take care of yourselves bless ✨🎄💫 Bob & Brad
I bought the foam roller shown on your video....pain be gone! Thank you. Much better than the harder roller I'd been trying to use.
Thanks for the advice I really appreciate do to my back problems and two surgeries .
Simply want to say thank you and God bless you🌻
I suffer from fibro. I changed my diet and it helped a lot. Limit (I need to eliminate) wheat and sugar, dairy except fermented and maybe nightshades (tomato, potato, eggplant). I have to use a soft roller or it hurts. I use pool noodle rolled over every part of my body I can reach. Doesnt sound like much but it really helps. Guess it massages the fascia and helps release the pain. Good luck folks. So many people are suffering pain.
I love Brad's signoff. "Thank you for coming, be careful!"
Bless you guys! You are the best!!!
That’s great tips on foam rolling, heating pad great!
You guys are the best! Thank you!
Love your explanation 👌
Thank you
I LOVE your intro!!
Thank you
Thank you
Sorry to hear about your back pain
Great information as I've suffered from back pain most of my life due to being hyper mobile.
I'm on a need to know basis, and I need to know. Thank you 💞💞💕🌟
Thx. Good idea.
I doubt everything until I hear it from you guys.
Thank you so much for addressing this!! My back has been a terribly problematic, painful, ongoing condition for me for over 20 years. I do some of this type of stuff but I never get complete relief. I will buy that deeper heating pad and begin using two tennis balls, etc.
Good luck!
I saved this video so that I can refer to it again and again.
I would love a Thermotex Far Infrared heater, but, guys...$250! Even with the coupon it would be over $200. I don't have that kind of money.
P.S. You have convinced me to get out and walk more.
I had excruciating nerve pain in my right buttock that seemed like sciatica but it didn’t respond like sciatic to all treatments and imaging showed nothing. In the end a very knowledgeable RMT that was trained in fascia release was able to identify the source of my problems and with many issues it was more than one thing but the biggest agitator was the fascia in my opposite hamstring and ever appointment with him there was a notable improvement and in total about 5-6 appointments and pain that would wake me in the middle of the night screaming, even with multiple pain killers was gone!
You guys are the best.
Thanks!
How nice that Bob & Brad are picking up on the great (and funny!) interview they did with me some time ago! The book which they recommend here is 'Fascial Fitness' at North Atlantic Books; and I agree this is a very useful introduction, particularly for lay persons without much medical background. However, for PTs and other health professionals I would recommend the new (2nd) edition of 'Fascia in Sport & Movement' , since it also includes some of the newer research findings. Great to see, how well Bob & Brad are translating today some of general concepts into very useful practical applications. 👍
I bought the book and I'm half-way through reading. It's giving me great insights and I hope when I get to the exercises part I will be able to lessen the chronic pain in my upper back. Asante daktari ("thanks doctor" in swahili)
Hi guys! These stretches have helped me so much!! I appreciate your videos so much! So glad you’re feeling better Bob! 😊
Thanks!
"This is nice Bob. I'm happy". You guys sleigh me. 😌
LOVE the theme song!
I feel like I'm watching a SNL sketch, but in reality it's a delightfully relaxed informational video.
Yin yoga is really helpful
I’d like to know your thoughts on those kailo patches
Gotta try that might be my back pain is from that fascia
The funny thing is i've been doing some of these already through trial and error 😅 Didn't even know they were recommended. Even the tennis ball one hahhaa pretty much exactly
Since you have recently been talking about fascia and Dr. Schleip, how about having Ann and Chris Frederick on to discuss Fascial Stretch Therapy?
the song at the beginning is pretty cool
Thanks
Wish i could be helped.
I've suffered upper and lower back pain for over 30 years. I just managed it myself. I've reached the limit of my pain.
Dancing helps exercising the the pool.
I sleep with a yoga ball at the upper part of my back.
The busier i get the worst it is.
Don't focus on it and i keep smiling.
(I've got a massage gun amongst other things). 😍
How do you know if you have gotten to the fascia tissue?
Hello from sunny Florida.
Hi from snowy Minnesota
What about a gazelle for low back/ fascia pain?
@bobandbrad
Bob I’m so glad to see you getting better. I pray and hope God completely heals you. 1 Peter 2:24
God bless!
This is great to see! I’m a PT as well and one of Robert and Divo’s Fascial Fitness Master Trainers through the Fascia Training Academy. Thank you for covering Fascial Fitness and introducing this information to a wider audience. I’m going to check out the thermo pack. I didn’t see a link for the massage gun in the show notes. What is the brand?

When I run my hands over the lower back, I can feel the fascia sliding, and it feels....gummy? under my fingers. Like it catches and pills up. I can't explain it. But it is tender to the touch.
whatsup guys!
What type of pillows are better for pinched nerve in shoulder area,? Soft, firm??
"...well it hurt Bob." 🤣
I have back neck arthritis & plantars fascia
I m with sharp pain on my left lower back. I have scoliosis and ciatic nerve problem. Doing stretch exercises I feel more relaxed but after few minutes again the pain in the same area. I do not know what to do. Even I am using the invert table to stretch. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks
What is the 3 foot roll thing, I suffer from severe back pain, that looks like it could really help me
Low key, high entertainment.
Hello to you both ! im reaching out because i cannot find answers to what is happening to me. when i bend my head especially i feel a vibration in my tail bone, no pain, just a feeling of vibrating my tail bone, i feel also a feel of inner tremors at time. Have you ever had a patient talk about this ? i am 51 and newly menopausal. Thank you so so much
You said that lot of these exercises are not good for disc but now recommend for fascia? So should I do these or not?
Where do you purchase the hot pad with the straps and the foam roller? Thank You 😊 for your videos. You have helped me so much. I follow you closely. I have had two attacks of vertigo from an old accident plus back issues. Since watching you both I have had great results. Thank you once again. I have to be careful with vibration cause it causes crystals in ears to shift. So I got rid of my massager. Thank You
They do have a video on foam rollers .
That may help you to buy what you really need
What is the book and author?
I’d love it if you guys would interview Miranda Esmonde-Whire one day. She has a few fascia connective tissue workouts.
She says it’s usually fascia when you feel it across large areas where it’s not just one specific muscle. Very Slow movements are best she says because if you use momentum the fascia doesn’t get worked. You want to feel it and it should feel really good.
Was going to say the same about Miranda Esmonde-White.....AGEING BACKWARDS.....on Facia and Connective Tissue
She's really good
Is this the same as soft tissue?
Great video. Please do something about your microphones. You both sound like NY Subway announcers. 🙏🏻
I think there is a whole documentary on fascia.
Please tell me where to buy the radient heating pad??? Didn't see the one shown on screen?🤔

And fascia is a liquid and a solid and is like a spiderweb all around the body not just the muscles. So I don’t know if stretching it would be beneficial cause of fascia having the resemblance of a spiderweb. When you pull on one end the other is affected greatly. So trying to “loosen” the fascia to get more mobility is not a good idea.
“Mobility without stability equals vulnerability” - Brandon O’Connor, MAT specialist
The roller and ball are so rediculously painful, I'm using them regularly and my tightness still hasn't released. It seems to run all the way down the left side of my back and on the outside of my ribs, about 1 inch to the left of the spine
i have tendonitis and plantar fasciitis in my left foot…. can someone tell me what video they’ve made for the subject
I'm not sure what videos they have about those issues. I'm sure they do. But for plantar fascitis, don't use cold therapy and then try to work the tissue. It will cause fascia microtears. Use heat instead. Soaking the feet in warm water and then rolling a golf ball under the foot is excellent. If you do want to ice your feet, don't put any weight on your feet at all until they are fully warm again. And gently stretch and massage your feet first thing when you wake up before putting any weight on them. Don't walk, even to the bathroom, until you've stretched your feet.
As far as tendinitis, I would say look up their videos. The best results that I had with that was to supplement the diet with collagen. And stop doing whatever you did that caused the tendinitis until you're fully healed. Plus the stretches and massage that Bob and Brad probably recommend.
So BUY the hot pad.

90-120 seconds is beneficial for fascia stretches, says Google😊
I already do the forward crab 🦀 crawl to the can, during wee wee hours, it's my punishment for waiting too long, first watering the cat 🐱, crawling that way there so's (ya S.O.S.) not to grease up the floor (no mesh, accept the mess) Do you know mess means church ⛪ service in French, geez!
Wow ! I thought bending over at the waist (toe touchers) was a big no-no. I stopped doing them and feel better.
Have to remember to round the back
I don't think foam rolling will release the fascia. The fascia needs to be sheered or pin & streched. You gotta move the muscle you're trying to release, while hold pressuing on the point that hurts. Go find some videos by fascia experts. These guys are great and I watched many of their videos years ago, but these techniques enver worked for me.
"You break the fascia up." Would Dr Schleip describe it this way? Could you mean you are breaking adhesions ? Didn't Schleip mention stickiness?
Bob and Brad talk about fascia, and this short video has a fantastic visual representation of fascia: ruclips.net/video/xI1lATuPL0M/видео.html
Like sure yes you can say you’ve “stretched” the fascia. But how do you know you did is the question.
Be really, really careful with the massage guns over the kidneys.
Merci !
You’re welcome!

Very informative, but lots of unrelated talk. I wish they make the videos shorter and just get to the point
I'm 67 .years young and you guys make me feel old and done and I got MS . You're sad .people .
Is Bob drunk??? Slurring, loudly talking, just not himself???
I hope you are embarrassed at having made this comment

I hate the presentation they look like a comedy team. But the exercise is good. Should be more serious
