If you've used MY methods - tell me about it! There's NO better feeling in the world to me than helping people get pain-free and find their freedom. For me, freedom means being able to climb mountains, hike, go trail running and being fit to do the activities I love until I leave this world. You?

      All of it. I've been in chronic pain for 35 yrs, since about 8yrs old and it's only grown and grown. I'm now doing physio and massage - both of which help BUT I feel like nothing yet has "unlocked" anything new for me. It's very gradual (but to be fair, constant) change and small improvement daily. I'm wondering if Fascial Stretching might speed up my attempts to normalize my ranges of motion and strength. I found an outfit in Toronto, where I live, that specializes in Fascial Stretching. Do you think I should add it to my stack? Take a few weeks off of the other activities and ONLY do FS for a couple weeks? Something else? Any advice would be appreciated. The video was super informative and inspiring. I'd love to be able to make myself pain free, even if it's hard work at home (which I'm currently doing anyway). Thanks

      I love that what you say supports what I've often tried to tell others - but most don't believe it. I once thought I had bursitis in my hips, and my leg muscles were weak. I consulted various different practitioners, but none of them helped. Finally, a chiropractor did some myofascial release as part of a regular treatment, and when I left his office, the pain was suddenly almost gone, and I could stand up more easily. Since then, I've used this technique to successfully treat many other different muscle pain problems.

    I was in a car accident and come to find out I had no magnesium or potassium in my muscles. I was dehydrated, severely dehydrated from vomiting and diarrhea because of past pain issues and the pain medicine. I was both unable to fill my prescriptions and come to find out people were breaking in my house and stealing a week supply out of my month supply!
    This caused me all sorts of problems but I think the worst issue was that during the accident all of my muscles tightened up for the impact and they locked down and stayed tight especially in my abdomen. All of the abdomen muscles and deep inside along my spine around my belly button the muscles were tight and stayed tight after the accident. It took me a long time to realize that I was in a dehydrated state for a very long time plus no magnesium or potassium. I was taking magnesium but I only started to get better after adding the potassium.
    I really appreciate what you're saying because I believe my fascia also locked up during this car accident because of being in a dehydrated state. I have been hydrating myself for quite some time now drinking or trying to drink half my body weight in ounces a day.
    I also found a therapist that gave me specific stretches that helped released the fascia around my chest! It was really bad where I had restricted breathing as in it was hard to take a deep breath. Also the chiropractor's were unable to get my back to adjust at all. If it did adjust a little bit you could tell just by the sound how tight everything was. This therapist really helped and the stretches while doing deep breathing helped release a lot of different muscles as you put them into a stretched position where they start to hurt. Hold that position and then breathe deep very slowly but not too slow and then out. She told me to do this three times and raise it up to six times and it has helped tremendously!
    I believe I have also learned that if your body and your core is in a weakens state that these muscles and fascia will tighten back up because it's trying to hold your body up. The muscles are not strong enough to keep you upright then this fascia and other muscles and tendons will tighten much easier. Weak muscles tend to get tight and stay tight until their strengthened. This has been a vicious circle for me and when you're in a super weakened state it's very hard to build strength but as I stay faithful to walking 30 minutes a day and being gentle with myself as I do light strength exercises and slowly increase the weight I can tell things are improving. Also doing planks and things to strengthen your core has helped me tremendously. I hope this helps someone out there because when your core is in a weak state then it's easier to overdo and then your body will crash for days. Also events and people will affect you emotionally way more with a weakened core...

    I have been working on facia release for 10 months because I started paying attention to the gift of pain . Night and day difference in every aspect of my life. I don't think anyone really understands where the rabbit hole goes with this knowledge. This is probably the most important video anyone ever watched.Thank you for sharing.

      I've been observing my body ..noticing the intense pain of my facial which normal gets ignored and just paying attention and gently rubbing the painful area which might have also been my spleen meridian I've had a huge shift..I literally got my whole digestive system working better and feeling less bloated and lighter and stronger just from this area in my thighs where the spleen meridian is and where the facia was insanely painful. Its not as painful now and I feel like ah I have tapped into something at last where I can help myself. I cant figure out my back its got so tight and bad no amount of rollering does anything but hurt so I'm gonna see what I can just become aware of by paying attention more. I feel like the pain sort of makes you ignore areas of your body for a long time to avoid the pain but as you say the gift is the pain telling you something. Love your comment.

    Very good video I’m a certified fascia resistance stretcher (the genius of flexibility)and everything she says is accurate. I’ve been doing this for 10 years and I cannot begin to tell you how many amazing things I’ve seen in my line of work!

      Google "Find a myofascial release therapist near me." I have had 2 sessions so far, mostly working on wrists and hands (I have trigger thumb). It's helping! My plan is to avoid thumb surgery, I think I can!

    As a diabetic I developed an electrolyte imbalance that caused a lot of fascia spasms. You could watch the twitching in my aching legs. I added a sugar free electrolyte drink and in one day it stopped. This was not something my doctor warned me about. Better control of my blood sugar helped with the dehydration you are referring to, but until I replaced the potassium that was causing the spasms it did not improve,

      Dear Kathy... As a professional Healthcare worker my whole life, I have come to the conclusion that our U.S. system is more concerned with capitalism & making money ( Medical Insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies,etc) with the goals of KEEPING THE PATIENT IN THE CIRCLE OF ILLNESS, AND KEEPING THE MONEY FLOWING TO THEM! It's obvious how pharmaceutical companies are so integrated in medical schools, etc! They have far too much influence on the training future doctors to use their drugs for profiting from keeping people sick and keeping people on their drugs and more drugs to treat those side effects RATHER than going to the ROOT CAUSE of the disease and finding ways to cure it! Our system sucks!

      Taking magnesium helped me so much. I do feel like I need more potassium but that is not sold as a supplement in my country and since my juicer broke I haven't been drinking veggies and find it hard to eat a lot. I should get a nre one I'm just annoyed that I can fix my old one which should be fixable..

      @@Padraigpcream of tartar is Potassium so it’s easy to make your own electrolyte mix by adding a good mineral sea salt with it to your favorite juice.

      @albemarlegirl5734 I did not know this. I found a salt called losalt which instead if sodium has potassium but I don't know if that's any use. We can get dioralyte which is for diarriah but they're insanely expensive for using often. I got some prune juice but it ended up sitting in the fridge for a month lol! I'll give that a look up thank you very much.

    I discovered the miracle of fascia release after a horrific fall I took off my beach cruiser. I damaged nearly every part of my body, from my shoulder all the way down to my ankle when the heavy bike crushed my left leg and my right leg slammed down like a clam shell on the opposite side of the frame. The bike seat jammed up into my groin and pinched it against the pavement. Luckily I didn't break anything. The pain was horrible.
    So, i started researching pain, and what causes it? I've noticed that most therapists like yourself talk about pain, but don't really explain what causes it? Yes, the fascia shrinks when it's damaged and pulls up and down on the kinetic chain causing pain. What I learned (at least I think I learned) is that the pain is caused by a build up of calcium deposits and lactic acid that the body lays down to fix muscle fiber tears. The way I understand it (please correct me if I'm wrong) it that the calcium grinds against your nerves, thus causing pain. Not only do you need to stretch out those fascia fibers, but you also need to release the calcium from scarred tissue. Taking 500 mg of magnesium per day has REALLY helped remove the calcium that I am releasing when I work on my fascia and muscle fibers.
    Also, what I discovered while trying to repair the newer bike accident injuries, was the 'old' sports and work related damage I didn't even know I had. For example; I was a paper boy for 2 years when I was 12 years of age. Carrying a 50 lb sack of newspapers around my neck completely threw my shoulder girdle off and thus my posture has been horrible for years (I'm 66 now). Once I discovered this amazing technique of removing the calcium deposits and stretching out the fascia, I was able to bring back perfect posture. I no longer have pain in my shoulders or back. It's amazing.
    I've spent 10 months working on my bike accident injuries which opened up all sorts of past roller-blading spills where I landed on my backside which messed up my pelvis tilt. What a journey this has been! Now, I'm almost finished a total recondition. It's like restoring an old car. I can swim laps for an hour. Ride 30 miles on my bicycle and walk for miles, nearly pain free. Truly, I feel like 30 again, but with better posture!! ;)
    Now, the only way I could have managed to achieve this is with the help of an electric 'percussion' massager. You can buy it on Amazon for about $30. One of the best investments I've ever made. This two headed hand held machine basically tenderizes the fascia and muscle tissue so you can dig in with your hands and tennis balls to ultimately release all the scar tissue. It's almost like sanding an old car to remove rust. It takes a lot of time, depending how much damage you've accumulated. But it works.
    Finally, when I want to work on a particular muscle group, I heat it up with a electric heating pad. Get it toasty. Then I apply my percussion massager and 'sand' it all out while stretching the muscle. Be warned, the release of lactic acid will make you feel sick. So drink a lot of water. Also, I do heavy dossing of Vitamin C to help rebuild the collagen fiber that new muscle tissue is comprised of. Remember, you're going to have to rebuild and develop your muscles/tendons/ligaments once you clean them out. But they redevelop quickly once the new tissue fibers are laid down (muscle memory). Seriously, I feel like 30 again!
    Sorry for the essay, but it's sooo well worth doing if you have the time and determination.
    Thank you for this awesome explanation of what, much to my delight, I discovered on my own - because I didn't have insurance to cover physical therapy ;)
    p.s. your tight clothing analogy to describe fascia pain is the very best I've run across.

      Thanks for sharing your story! I believe we can recreate our bodies at any age, with persistence and the right tools. Sounds like you were able to do that for yourself! Amazing. From my perspective having worked with fascia in the particular way I do (stepping on people and using compression + movement to release the fascia), I'm not sure it has to be as time-consuming and complex as what you've described here. Although I'm also not sure there's a better way without having access to someone who does Kinetix (my method) or similar.
      I have a different theory as to what's happening with the stuck fascia and how it causes pain - I believe it's several things all happening at once: myelin sheaths that have been laid down due to repeating physical and psychological patterns over and over (think about any sports or repetitive movements we do while thinking/feeling strongly). This creates "thickened" areas of fascia where the myelin was laid down over many years. The other thing to keep in mind is: pain is perception. Always. Now, that doesn't mean it's not "real" and it also doesn't mean we're not in danger. But the body and brain are like smoke detectors in a house, alerting us to POSSIBLE threats (fires) but it's our job to figure out if it's just smokey from cooking or an actual fire that could burn the house down. So to eliminate pain we have to create a different perception of our internal landscape (interoception). And then there's the actual physiological impact giant fascial adhesions have on our alignment, nerves etc. I could nerd out on it all day ;)
      I'm happy you're swimming and biking and feel like a 30 year old again! Good for you :)

      Yes, I know what you mean by the 'thickened' areas. Seems to me that once you get injured and scar tissue builds up, then any kind of muscle building after the injury just lays on top of the scar tissue. So that means you will eventually have to dig down and through the new muscle tissue to get at and remove the old scar if you want your muscles to function like new again.
      It's all so fascinating and truly exciting! I completely understand how you could 'nerd' out on it all day. I could too! Keep up your important work. I'll be watching. :)

      Omg. That sounds like wht I am going thru. And i hv intense unbelievable fascia knots on the outside of my thighs. I realized some time ago tht massages dont work for this prblm. Learning quite a bit from the video & ur comment here. I am still trying to fig out what to do. Now I suffer from severe sciatic pain down my right leg.

      What you have described here is incredible! I am curious about the relationship between magnesium and calcium release that you spoke of. What drive you to believe the magnesium aids in the removal of build up calcium? How did you think to do that?
      I am very curious as I am a massage therapist, and I'm looking to learn more effective ways to help my clients with chronic pain. Beyond that i find it fascinating whenever someone has it in them to carve their own path to better health, any information and ideas you'd like to share with me would be greatly appreciated.

    Wow! Decades ago, I had my then boyfriend stand on my thighs just like this. He thought I was crazy, he couldn't believe I needed so much pressure in a massage. He was worried he was going to hurt me but It just felt incredibly relieving for him to just stand on me. I thought it was my muscles that were so tight, but now I know it was my fascia.

    I just started craniosacral therapy a few months ago and it is the only thing that has relieved the extreme body armor I have had since I was a teenager from cptsd and a back injury. My fascia and muscles were so tight for the last 45 years that any type of massage or self therapy was painful. I am now soft enough to be able to utilize these and it is such a relief! I also have had the chronic knee & hip pain you speak of as well as upper body pain especially in the neck and shoulders. Thank you for your work to help others ❤

    I've just started watching about 3 days ago, and I started with quads, adductors and IT band. After working with foam roller this morning my legs felt lighter. I then hiked and I felt light on my feet.
    I was most influenced when you said, "healthy fascia wouldn't hurt when applying pressure". I've got some work to do. 64 years of fascia neglect 😮. THANK YOU. I'm committed.

    This is what brought me to your channel. I've waited years for you to return to this subject. Yay! In the meanwhile, I've gone from horrible fascia pain all the way to functional. The suffering I put myself through has been the most difficult thing I've ever done. But I knew it would result in a better body. It worked. My knee tendonitis is gone. The tightness throughout my back and calves and everything is gone. It was literally torture. But now I'm 62 and young. Thanks.

      Also, the dehydration is due to acid ash forming foods. I'm still getting miraculous results by having eliminated what I used to love- animal products. Acidosis causes almost all of our ailments. Changing to fruit has had a profound effect on many areas in my life. I'm seeing it in others too.

      @@decathlete2000 For several years. It's the best way to detox and heal. I eat cooked now, and eventually will get back to even things like pizza. When you're sick enough you'll stop bad foods.

    I'm a myofascial trainer for the past 20 years. I've made much great gains and changes, especially postural doing this type of work as opposed to "muscle" training

    I've had chronic and worsening neck/back pain since I was 16, I've had every possible test and scan and been through PT three times but nothing works and the pain is still debilitating. Today I found out about fascia through a random youtube recommendation and I'm fairly certain I have found the root of 7+ years of pain

    Wonderful information, great stuff pain is part of the release for sure . I remember in Thailand a Thai traditional healer cure my migraine headaches by manipulating a facia knot in my upper back , he used a wooden tool to press so hard I thought he was going to break me and at same time ask me to move the arm and neck. Headache was gone for good after 30 years of suffering.

      I'm beginning to believe that FM pain is made worse by restricted fascia.... the more pain we feel, the less likely we are to move. When you become more body aware... you can tell the difference between muscle pain from disuse and restricted fascia being torn apart.

    I have been in a car accident as a baby and have been clumsy throughout my entire life. So I fell, stumbled, sprained almost every joint during childhood and adolescence. Even as a child every nudge of my body was painfull. My father would joke that my body was a musical instrument, since I would make a sound where ever I was touched. I never found it funny and did always tell him it was because I felt pain at the touch. I never was a nimble child. Exercise was hell for me. Walking, street, sand, climbing stairs. I have tried so much, but kept getting stiffer and more restricted when trying to get more supple by almost any thing I worked with. When touching my body I can feel small pebbles and grain like particles between my skin and on my muscles. I am so done with feeling so restricted when my mind wants to be able to move. What you are telling me makes so much sense. I have benefitted from chiropractor and trigger point, dry needling, but it always was temporary. I am mostly bedridden nowadays because moving is so painfull and exhausting (after a couple of injuries which made me bedridden. I am committed to renovate my body and your knowledge will be crucial. I know it will be a lot of work, but I want to live, not just exist.

      @@ElishaCeleste It was the total information about the Fascia. I've never heard of it until a few weeks ago. I injured my hamstring and now better my knee has limited mobility with pain. My trainer said it is my fascia that is bunched up in the knee and to used a massage ball to loosen it up.

    I learned about fascia through Ashleigh Black, but I have to say it wasn't the best experience. That being said, my daughter is a certified health coach and she found you and was very excited about your technique . I have had real issues with circulation and pain in my legs especially my left leg and foot.In fact most of mt pain and problems are on my left side. your introductoery video was a God send! I definately understand what you are saying. I eat a keto diet and do intermittent fasting and I have drastically improved my health but this is the last frontier I need to address. I am 68 years old, have 11 beautiful children and feel so much better because if many improvements I've made. Now I want fascial relief to complete the jpurney.

Anything you can suggest would be great. The videos you have will help us address some of my more immediate with issues with pain. I was a jazz dancer and gymnist in my young years and I'm paying for it now, especially in my legs. I can walk fine with no real issues but I tend to fall occassionally and have had numerous injuries not so much from falling but just being "clumsy" for lack of a better word...Probably all fascial related. She and I have been working on my health improvements for about a year and the progress has been swift. Thank you for anything you can do. You are to be commended for reaching out to us.

    My favorite part of the video is the hope it brings for improved health and pain relief. I've dealt with tmj pain for several years and recently was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. While doing recommended at-home therapy exercises and stretches, I started exploring and researching the muscles involved and began to see how everything is connected to everything else. I've read about fascia, but your description is the most clear that I've heard. I'm going to check out more of your videos and incorporate fascia release into my daily movement routine.     Been doing myofacial release for 27 years. Patient came with not being able to take a deep breath for 2 years. Been for cat scans ,ct scans and ultrascans.multiple doctor and chiropractor visits with no relief.I applied myofacia release to the diaphragm muscle for 10 minuits and she was able to take her first deep breath in 2 years. I use myofacia release with my massage in every treatment i do.It works great David

      I have suffered from poor diaphragmatic breathing for nearly 20 years after a bad car accident when my neighbor fell asleep and rear ended me while I was in park in front of my house. Chiro used to do that amazing “surprise” release for my diaphragm. How can I accomplish something similar myself?

      @@EmilyKnight413 Hi Emily. The way i release the diaphragm is to have a patient lay on their back with a pillow under their knee's. The patient breaths normal while doing this. One hand on top of the other i apply firm pressure down on the top ribs just below the sternum and hold this for 3 minutes. Then i do both sides of the ribs pushing in from the side and holding each side for 3 minutes . If you have someone that can assist you (husband partner or friend) this can easily be done at home. See how you go David

One thing that surprised me in this video was your statement, "Healthy fascia won’t hurt at all when compression is applied." Wow! So, at age 55, I have a lot of work to do!       Hey CJ - ha! Ok, so almost ALL of us adults have unhealthy fascia to varying degrees. However - with some consistent fascial release head to toe and THEN consistent maintenance - we can completely reverse that unhealthy fascia and it WON'T HURT at all. But then the trick is we HAVE to maintain that! Kind of like eating healthy or exercising right? I wish I could work on everyone, because Kinetix is SO much faster than self-help. But that's why I'm committed to teaching as many people as I can. Where do you live? And THANK YOU for being here and trying my methods out, I'm happy to hear they've helped :)

    I cannot tell you how much I value the time and effort you have taken to share your wisdom and knowledge with people like me suffering from myofascial pain, that debilitates my life. The fact that you brought up the impact of trauma on facia, along with every single event, and patterns that we develop throughout life, is the most impactful thing that I have found from this particular video. I’ve had severe trauma in my life, and a specific instance initiated pain in my fascia that has debilitated me for the last 12 years.
    I went to some sessions with an MFR therapist, and had amazing results, but I could only afford so much. I definitely want to look into your methods because I need freedom in my life again, I am a prisoner in the vice of my facia right now. The description of clothing that does not fit right is it perfect for what’s going on in my body and the fascia compresses nerves which creates severe pain. In fact, I cannot even tolerate clothes that are moderately tight because my fascia is in such a state of angry, restricted tension. This gives me some hope and I will definitely pursue it.💜🙏💜

I'm healing from childhood trauma and 36 year of labor intensive work that I tried to heal, even though I knew it was the fascia I couldn't figure out how to get the release. over the last month ive been releasing the dense fascia, as I understand it I hold my repressed emotions of a lifetime. after the release if I want the freedom to continue I work on changing my mindset.

    Xrays and mri dont show fascia. I've been a trigger point devotee for close to 20 years.and avoided surgery because of it. You're definitely onto something. Thanks for sharing this little known discipline.

    After having an undiagnosed abdominal vascular nerve compression for 15 years, even after the release of my Mesenteric ligament, my epigastric area is like you say, squeezing, tightening, painful. I’m now sitting with a pain stimulator that worked with the trial, but not with the permanent one. Oh how I wish I would have seen this before!

    There are so many people that are unaware of fascia, I wasn’t completely sure but all my doctor visits. I will tell them that I felt like I needed fluids that my body was dehydrated and they would push it off. They would pinch my skin and say that I was fine well on the inside of my body I felt like a desert. My mouth was always dry, and I just knew that was the reason I have been dealing with this forever. I actually fell on my neck when I was younger maybe first grade and I am 48 years old now and very much in pain every day. They’ve pushed it over to depression, saying that I was so depressed that I was thinking of the pain. There was no way I could be going through that much pain I later found out from my neurologist that this Indy was what it was, and they still push me off as if it’s nothing. I think I need to show this video to my Physician. Thank you so much for explaining to me what I have been trying to explain to them forever. I am so tired of them trying to push depression medication on me.

    I have been in chronic pain for 35 years. I've seen so many therapists I've lost track. I ended up getting Botox shots in my scalenes, traps, basically most of the muscle in my neck and shoulders,🙄. About 5 weeks ago I realized that, even with Botox, I was still in pain; I was always fatigued, depressed, thirsty, etc. I decided it was time for me to sort this out. Once I was informed I had "massive" amounts of scar tissue, I began searching for ways to heal.
    Now to my question: I discovered Myofascial release using a stainless steel tool. Within 10 days I was covered in bruises but so, so much better. I'm learning how to find adhesions and treat them. Is this as effective as your method? Do you view it as a legitimate way to address my fascia issue? Is there any thing you would recommend to supplement this approach?
    I only suffer from upper body pain from 2 traumas: operation where my chest was cut open. And, a broken collar bone from 40 years ago.

      Nailslacquer - try 4-7-8 breathing - breath in 4 seconds, hold 7 seconds out for 8. If this is too difficult and you are gasping for air, start shorter and elongate as your nervous system starts to release. Five, ten, even 20 minutes should do the trick. The Object is to downshift from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest”. You will know it is working when you start to feel your stomach rumbling and a feeling of well being replaces the dread. (In biological terms, when your breathing slows down and deepens, it cues your nervous system that the threat has passed and you can now relax. )

    Yep. My hips have been out of balance since my childhood. Right side is higher than the left. My sister took me to see a therapist (at that time they called it P.U.S.H. - pressure under soft hands). She did exactly what is explained here, with her elbows. She mostly leaned into the side of my quads and hips. Before I left her office, I went to the restroom and checked in the mirror. My hips were even. I could always tell by the zipper of my pants because if it was straight vertically that meant balanced. Prior to that the zipper would tilt to the left.

      Omg my zippers always tilt too I always knew the left side of my body is tighter, I always clench the left side of my body even in sleep and everything on the left, like bra straps & sleeves fall off or are longer, and clothing is tilted towards the left. I want to correct this so much.

    Great video! My fave parts were the tight clothing analogy and the photo and explanation of where the facia is. I’m in the fitness industry and work mostly with the aging population.     I have DDD in all levels of my spine. I am now 63 years old, and started going to a chiropractor when I was 14 years old. The start of my needing adjustments on a regular basis till I was around 46 years old when my L4L5 pancaked, and was gone for the most part. Never a person to hydrate EVER. Though I was always active, served in the Army twice, and competed in sports in high school. My career fields were in medicine, and not sitting still the usual. Had a baby at 43 years old, so though I was never able to go back to full time employment after having her and my back going. I still had to keep moving to a certain extent. I was told I had myofascial pain syndrome after my L4L5 herniated completely. Pain when pressing almost ANYWHERE on my body is present and has been for years. I knew it was related to my muscles, and the nerve impingement, inflammation in too many places to count. I know any kind of massage has to be done like your trying to beat me up, and for literal hours. Seems like it just goes back to like stretched rubber bands. I was told by a massage therapist that everything in my pelvic area and low back was so tight, but they seriously believed. That trying to loosen any of it, would allow the lower spine to collapse. But it has gotten to the point where my hips, groin, front and back of thighs just ache and burn all the time. The joints grab to a point that is ridiculous, stops me in my tracks. Find it hard to believe my body could reverse. But I will start researching the possibilities, because I seriously suffer every single day.

      Unfortunately I don't have anyone practicing in Washington. The method I've developed is really new and there aren't very many of us yet. If you can find a food fascia release therapist of any kind that could be a place to start (myofascial release, Rolfing, etc). Or you could try the self fascia release techniques I teach here on RUclips.

    I've had burning pain all over my body when pressure is applied, especially if someone pokes me! I really think it's my fascia! I have chronic knots also that I've had forever! Only thing that helps me is my fascia blaster. My fascia in my entire body is tight! I am definitely learning more about this.

      Yes actually, I do have some questions.
      Are there foods or supplements that can help hydrate and loosen up the fascia?
      I am also wondering about how mental states affect the fascia?
      Perhaps there are some visualizations or meditations that can be beneficial?
      I get really excited not just about healing my own pain but this information can help free so many people who suffer from chronic pain.
      When I think about that body of pain leaving collective society because the majority have this knowledge and access to these techniques...
      I can't' lie, I kinda tear up a bit.
      That is why I greatly admire teachers healers doing such fantastic work.

      @@gideonfyah1 Yay, so happy you found me and this information! I have over 170 videos on the channel, LOTS of them about mindset and beliefs, nervous system patterns that could be keeping some people stuck in loops of pain...lots of good stuff. I've heard some people claim that taking LOTS (like an absurd amount) of digestive enzymes will dissolve fascial adhesions but I don't know if I buy that and I'm not sure it's healthy. Stress is the worst thing for fascia (go figure), and beyond that - eating healthy and drinking lots of water. But what fascia needs most is BLOOD, and that can only increase with fascial release by creating more space for blood to flow through.

    How do you hydrate and give space to fascia? Anyone ??

      Interstitial spaces. You just need to drink water and do something like Bartenieff for mobility. If that doesn't squeeze it in then I'm afraid there's probably just no hope.

    I’m new here I just found out about this because I have scoliosis and poly myalgia so I was told to go to a massage therapist or professional to have the release done and 73 and I’m tired of being in pain every day all day long and I appreciate you so much

      My gastroenterologist recently suggested I might have polymyalgia, I've never heard of it before. The blood test for ESR was clear so apparently I don't have it.
      How were you diagnosed?
      I've been in pain for over 5 years with pinched nerves, arthritis, sciatica etc....and IBS is the latest diagnosis.

      Definitely try it - I've had SO much pain that was caused by cranky fascia. I used to be 6/10 pain all day every day for years, and now I'm usually at 0-2 on the pain scale

    Fascia is part of the solution. There are other types of tissue injuries that need to be addressed to correct the whole injured area. Incorporating trigger point work, fascia release, Tragger movement, strain / counter strain as per Dr Jones, and LAST, therapeutic stretch clears the areas of injury. 25 years in practice after studying with the best teachers in the world taught me that it is more than one bodywork tool that is needed.
