Appalling bar tape finish. My OCD would drive me insane riding this bike.
And different valve lengths front and rear????*OCD severely kicking in again*
I guess Impey's pro bike check needs a re visit, got himself a custom painted Foil Disc.
Great looking bike. I could be biased though as I also own a 2017 Scott Foil in same colour as this. Recently changed tyres from GP4KII to Vittoria Corsa G+ Tan colour aka gum walls. Loving the look of the new tyres on it

In my opinion the SCOTT FOIL is the most beautiful of the aero bikes.
How come you don't list saddle setback from bb?
What angle is his saddle? -4 or so? Maybe you guys can start to include saddle angle on pro bike reviews.
I thought i would see a more rsa theme colours or some small pics of the flag. Its a very nice bike. What size is it and how tall is Impey?
Did you notice how John felt up the saddle? He did that before I seem to remember - something about the shaft he likes!

#askgcn hiya guys!! I have a set of tubular carbon rims.. the rims are 21mm (width) and came with 21mm tires installed.. was wondering if can replace those tires with wider tires, say 23 or 25 perhaps... tnx and more power to your show!!!

Indeed Impey rides it veryy fast, starting up the sprint train or riding his own sprints. He's a great all-rounder. This long and low, tilted saddle and narrow bars are typical for time trialist or as we call them HARDRIJDERS
Though i'm not sure about the colors and the overall shape of tubes, Scott makes a very clean and well made total package. Headset and front end int particular. I'm currently saving for a seatpost like this one but i'd flip it around to put the saddle even more forward.
U didn’t mention the seat post binder bolt. That is one of the coolest thing on the bike
Does anyone know if those tops are uncomfortable, without tape? I tend to climb on the tops for long climbs, can't see it being great after a few minutes. The look is amazing nonetheless.
edgardo reyes thanks, been thinking about getting some. I hold the tops sort of like I'm hanging off a cliff, like my thumb goes on top. I imagine it wouldn't change much
I am lucky to have an RC and the tops are totally fine and comfy without tape. It has a nice shape.

Jon is normally very accurate! Interesting, I'd say we're seeing pro cyclists with lower saddle heights now. Chris Froome for example...

I'd say so, as I mentioned Froome sits very low as do the Yates brothers. Good idea for a video, I shall speak to the team!

Why do pro’s never use compact chain rings?
Shane Burgel it's easier to fit wider range cassettes for hillier stages rather than mess about with the chain rings so it saves the mechanics a lot of time between stages, apart from that pros don't often ride slow enough to need a compact setup to maintain a sustainable cadence.
In fact they do use smaller inner chainrings for races featuring very steep climbs.

That is a *very* pretty bike.....I'm not a fan of Shimano, but that bike would just look wrong with Campag.....that is proper fast looking, standing still

Price of what? Just search for the thing you are interested in, nobody sells the complete bike in this particular configuration.

Mulish aero thing is a myth to spend more bucks
Scott have claimed it makes almost no difference in the wind tunnel, so decided to keep out for easy maintenance.
