Dear Stacey,
Many thanks for the video. I have two questions:
8:15 I don't understand why we only have day 1 longs in the market on Tuesday. Both Monday and Friday already went above the prior day's high, so shouldn't it be day 3 longs on Tue? Or do you reset the count each week?
Minute 14: On Tuesday the market breaks above Monday's high and closes back inside. Since this is a failed BO to the HOTW, doesn't Tuesday count as a day 1 sell? Shouldn't the make us expect a day 2 sell on Wednesday?

I specifically state what this video is about for that very understanding. Opening Range
Opening Range breakout: Tues is the first day breakout traders are in the market.
IT IS NOT A FAILED BREAKOUT FOR A DAY 1 SELL.
You don't have a failed breakout to start a day count until the day is closed with trapped volume OUTSIDE A DAILY H/L. Which it did not.
Min 14: You are wanting to short a market that is inside / at the high of Monday. It is NOT a breakout?
Also it is Day 2 AFTER A FAILED BREAKOUT at the LOW on Monday.
As I repeat. Monday Day 1 Opening Range sets the intial high and low for the new week.

Thia was helpful to understand opening range. What are the solid red lines on your chart? And how did you get those?
I see the range expansion that you created for that week but there are other solid lines that don't match. Is that maybe from a previous range or previous weeks opening range??
They are quarter levels

Sorry to be a pain again, but I just cant see how at 20:55 that would be considered a breakout to avoid and not a dump to buy following the FGD if you were trading in London? it dumps 3x50 pips and stops at the opening range low, would that not seem like a BTS buying opportunity at the time? how are you telling the difference? I'm trying to see what hints there are in the PA, but for example, on the 11th it "broke out"/"dumped out" of asia range in a very similar way and reversed that time. This seems like such a key factor to be able to identitfy in this case but I keep looking at it and have no idea how to know to avoid that when it looks like a 3x50 dump to me
Adam, you are buying a breakout of an inside day, not a false break. FGD is now invalidated. If you are struggling to understand that, then don't trade it. YOU have to understand. Study inside days. IT IS A MONDAY. It isn't a false break of an inside day, it is the LONDON session, (three sessions in a day, MRN at 8:30am US session) a parabolic BREAKOUT of the Asian rectangle. If you don't understand, beating your head against the wall won't help. If you don't understand why? Don't trade it.

It is more aimed at longer term traders, position traders. If you have Peter's books and follow his blog he provides a wealth of great free info. Peter is a master of his craft.

I only trade 1 hour a day. I don't trade longer time frames. Anything else is just parked longer term, not really position trading.
Were Asia wendsday and Thursday high were parobilc shorts ?
Yes opportunities late Asia Wed for traders, and Thurs if they were trading the Asian session. (Frontside / Backside Fri-Mon-Tue Pump and Dump on the backside W / Th Asia)
