Thanks Stacey for the explanation! I would have lost shorting gold this morning on the first hour with 3 levels of rises coming up to the HOD in London session. but get out as it didn't move. Totally neglect that it had taken outthe LOW on Day 2 and close as a Break Out day, and the flag/ramping up volume coming into the session. Definitely something that I have to work on!

Stacey on the UJ I considered Friday as day one ( high of previous week) then Monday day2 and coming Tuesday peak formation high and low on the opening range for the short trade at 140.500 in the London session

I took the trade on oil. Crazy no stress 1:5 risk reward ratio trade. Thanks Stacey for the update. Was wondering if i identified the opportunity correctly. 1% better everyday.
How’s the trade life going my friend
I appreciate the nuances here with recent highs and lows going into a session, however had I been looking at Oil I would have looked for a break-in-structure high (above the smaller rectangle) before looking for a dump and pump. This just goes to show that there can be variations I guess, it was a dump and pump engulfment right at the timing window which was enough. I got screwed around with AUD unfortunately, I traded it short after the three peaks at the very low of the day going into NY session and then didn't take the reversal up seriously. Psychological capital depleted, I'm taking Thursday off (mind you I'm still paper trading until I'm consistent so no real damage).
Time of day. I don't look for trades until NY. Nymex opens 9am. The engulfment at 9am is a BIS. It is a short squeeze coming out of a rectangle. If you were shorting it, at 7:59am, as I said, when the new timing window kicks in, those lower level shorts are order flow for an explosive reversal back up.

Hey Stacy Thanks for the video, sorry if the question has nothing to do with the strategy but how many pairs do you have in your Watchlist that you watch every day?
He has often mentioned that he keeps tabs on Major gbp cross, oil, gold, dj30 but essentially in his words he hunts for setups from a basket of instruments

If I was to draw my own sweet spot lines on my pairs how would I do that
stacey could please come clear on the Wednesday london session on oil how the trade could have been taken. apparently it gave a pin to low drawn form the us session which could have shot up and am still wrapping my head around it why it gave such a dump before pumping in newyork session.please.

The entry at NY is a setup, a short squeeze. A structure for an entry.
You are trading a market that is continuing to go lower in Europe. Lower highs lower lows. The short squeeze in NY is a buy setup AT the LOD.at the NY open for oil. The pin at 9am on 5 m engulfs the lower highs, that is your BIS and the rectangle is a large coil for the explosive reversal.
Just wondering what the universal MA is. How many days, period settings and ema or sma. Thanks in advance!

Stacey on some of these setups that trigger with large range that don’t move fast. Do you have trouble watching them or or taking partials or do you step away from the screen?
I am typically in for that session and out. For example in Asia, I will trade a move a be flat. In some instances I will leave a small trailer, otherwise be in and out. US session always in and out.

Hi Stacey thanks for the detail review to enter the markets, yet have a small comment at 22:50 by WTI you said 07h59 low of the day but on my charts this candle is at 07h40 ?
No, PR I mean at 7:59am to mark the LOD, not that candle (unless it is). At that time, mark the low. Sorry if I didn't clarify that.
