- How to make a foam free mixed summer flower arrangement for home in a crystal fruit bowl
Ingredients - fruit bowl, glass frog, aluminium wire 2mm
Lisianthus flowers, echinacea flowers, solidago x3, cinerea foliage, mint, September flower, elderberry fruit, garden marguerite, fern foliage.
Everyone has containers at home, and this crystal fruit bowl makes the ideal vessel for fresh flowers - and a great excuse to bring flowers indoors to enjoy.
In today’s video we show you how to create this stunning design that is perfect for a coffee or dining table. The trick with using a glass frog is to place a little nonslip matting under the frog!
We have used a real mix of materials, with only the added lisianthus as a shop material - but just see what you have and what combination you can make!

Love the arrangement John. I have two crystal bowls in my crystal cabinet and never thought of using them as a flower container, but will now. The scrunched up wire is great and quite invisible. Thankyou again for sharing your knowledge.

@@michellemcguire5379 hello! Eucalyptus likes a good drink, but if it has dried out too much then it might not come back. But always worth a go! It also tends to last well if it is fresh - I can’t say exactly as it depends on the conditions. The main thing is finding fresh eucalyptus!

It has been some time since I've seen a glass frog - well done, John. In combination with the wire it works out perfectly. I think this would look lovely on a dining room table in Summer. I am sad that you encouraged trade with Hobby Lobby. They are not an LGBT friendly concern and personally I would never shop there. Hope you have a lovely week!

The glass frog is useful, and it adds some weight to hold stems at the bottom. Sometimes just good as a weight.! Hope you have a great week! 🌼
