- How to make a tulip spring garden design in foam free mechanic
Ingredients - garden tulips mixed, narcissus, liliac blossom, pear branch, cornus stems, fatsia, rhubarb leaf, lambs ears, ivy trails
Who doesn’t like tulips? We love them, so this design is created to bring them inside to enjoy and to show them off to their best advantage.
The wire mechanic is ideal to support the flowers - they are easily inserted and don’t tend to swivel. And it can be used again and again.
This design would look stunning in a hall or for an event. And the design is large as the tulip heads are a good size.
Once complete just enjoy and keep topped up with fresh water!

Amazing design!!! You are absolutly right about the Dutch masters, before you mentioned it I thought the same.😄
Thank you 😊 these tulips just make it 🌷🌷🌷
Good grief, what are you feeding those tulips? They’re massive! 😂
Absolutely beautiful as always. The textures and variety of foliage, fabulous as always.
I drove passed a huge wild rhubarb type of plant today and actually thought to myself, ‘They would look stunning in a huge arrangement.’ I should go and pick some and prank my college tutor tonight 😂…‘we’ll if it’s good enough for Flower Joos…’
Thank you 😊 they are big - just garden types / French tulips. That would of been fun - you should of done it and see if they knew what it was 😀 if it will stand in water then it’s useable 🌼🌷🌱
Very beautiful garden look.
Thank you 😊
Love this! So glad you are using garden materials. The yellow shrub you used looks like Kerria Japonica. Thanks!
Thank you 😊 it seems a shame not to use some the gorgeous material out there just now, and to enjoy it inside 🌼🌷🌱
the size of those tulips 🌷 😍 wow 🤩
They are good 😊 real difference with garden grown and commercial everyday tulips 🌷
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Precious John!
Very spring!
Ideal to put it in an entrance! I love tulips 😍

Вы прекрасный дизайнер👍♥️🤗👏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😊
большое спасибо 😊🌼🌼🌼🌼
Thanks for sending me to this video from your latest!! I love the free-form movement in this design and using materials from the garden xx
😊 Thank you!
This turned out lovely, well done.
Thank you 😊
I love larger displays, and it looks very appropriate for Spring 🌿
Bigger is better! And actually easier to make, though people think it’s somehow harder. 😀
very beautiful , thank you .
Blessings Wednesday from Jesus Christ to everyone 🦋🌷🌻🌈✝️
Truly gorgeous garden design, it is so beautiful with or without flowers. The greenery is stunning and the flowers are liquid sunshine. This would brighten anyone's day and home.
Thank you so much 😊
Absolutely beautiful, I'm inspired!!
😀 thank you 🌼
Another great arrangement - love watching you work through the design -thanks
Thank you 😊
Absolutely gorgeous, love tulips 🌷 and the color variety.
Thank you 😊 🌷🌷🌷
So beautiful. Thank you. 👏😊💕
Thank you 😊
Wow what beautiful tulips. Thanks John it looks beautiful.
Thank you so much 😊
당신의손은 마술사입니다 😊
매우 감사합니다 😊
I love this design, John! You mentioned Dutch Masters and this is exactly what your design reminded me of. Thos tulips are huge - easily seen from a distance, and the lines created by the tall foliage, especially, are wonderful. If this doesn't say, Spring, nothing will! Thanks, and have a terrific week!
Thank you 😊 every year I am going to add more bulbs - so increase the variety and colours there are. If I had a favourite flower the tulip would be right up there.
Hope you gave a great week too 🌷🌼🌱
@@FlowerJoos I'm right there with you! ☺🌷
Caught this 8 days late, but the branch with the small fluffy yellow flower is a keria (?spelling?) I think. Lovely design!!!!
Thank you! Yes, I’m glad it’s identified as it was just a scrap of material in the garden i I wasn’t/even sure if it was a weed. Must find the rest of it and give it more love 💕
Congratulations, your diet is working. You looked great.
Thank you 😊- kind of put a bit back on, but slowly slowly is the plan
Very beautiful as always, thx for sharing, Please continue to do more mix colors summer flowers.greetings from New York.
Thank you - and yes! 😀 greetings to you in New York 🍎
I love the virus! The tall branches at the back gave an otherwise classic shape a wild (natural) look which you do so well. I'm jealous that your lilac is already here! I hope you will have enough to make an arrangement for us! Thank you for the cheerful tulip design!
Thank you Lynne! The liliac is really nice just now - and the wisteria is also flowering everywhere 😀
Classic with a twist - that works for me 😀🌷
@@FlowerJoos I think YOU are classic with a twist!

Thankyou John..Absolutely gorgeous spring arrangement. Interesting the way you put it all together .the huge tulips are fantastic Unfortunately , we are going into the winter months soon. Looking forward to next week"s video.
Thank you Gisela 😀 we are just at that nice part of the year - but winter brings different opportunities and style.
Beautiful! as always..👍⚘️
Thank you 😊
The little yellow flowering shrub could be Kerria John.
Ahh - thank you 😊 I actually thought it was a weed, but then saw it as a bush in a neighbours garden!
Simply stunning. Love this.
Thank you 😊
Beautiful 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷!
Thank you 😊 🌼🌼🌼🌼
Brilliant idea wonderful and unique arrangement, i learnt alot from you sir .would like to know a church pulpit arrangement.also.
Thank you 😊 I will add your suggestion to our list - it can vary depending on the style of the pulpit - sometimes it is like adding a mantlepiece design - you need to see how best to attach the base, and where the flowers sit nicely without obstructing the line of sight.
Beautiful!!!!
Thank you 😊
Beautiful!
Thank you 😊
I like flowers
Absolutely beautiful. I wish I had this right now in my own home. Thanks so much.
Thank you 😊 🌼
Absolutely beautiful, I love the variety of foliage! Thank you 😊
Thank you 😊
Great look. Do you grow the tulips? They are different sizes and look great. At the store they all look the same.
Lovely ❤
Thank you 😊
Amazing, just love it
Very nice🌷🌷🌷🌷
Thank you 😊 🌷🌷🌷
❤ your tips are very helpful
I was wondering... changing water is not easy... The design can be damaged while changing water
@@izaiza7101 it really just needs topped up rather than a full change - but a full change is better if possible 😀🌼
@@FlowerJoos thank you
Terrific
I use traditional crumpled chicken wire with adhesive tape as I can't get grid wire.
That works as well 😀🌼
Gorgeous. ❤
Did the link “cards” you mentioned throughout your presentation not work, or were they forgotten? Maybe add links to the description?
Ahh thank you 😊- we had some technical issues but that’s a good suggestion
On it!
John beautiful composition. I love tulips but I have a problem. I suppose different types and colors but after a while they all turn red, the other colors die off.
I haven’t heard that before - I hope not 😀 are you in a very mild area?
@@FlowerJoos I live by the sea, three years ago I planted yellow tulips, quite a lot, now I only have two yellow ones, the rest, unfortunately, have either not sprouted or have discolored.
maybe the red ones are the strongest and displace the others?
@@glubitus736 google says this - If a tulip plant is under any kind of stress, such as cold temperatures when it emerges, the chlorophyll may begin to disappear from parts of the leaves. That allows the red to show through.
So maybe just not happy when they com3 through in spring?
In Poland we have harsher winters than in England, maybe this is the reason, it remains to enjoy what is. Thank you very much for your help, best regards and I look forward to your next videos.
kerria japonica
Thank you 😊
Foam is easy to get but bad for the environment.
