    Very tasty Chinese mooncakes and bibingka, a traditional Filipino pancake, contain salted eggs. In Manila, visit SM Mall of Asia and Okada...then go to Boracay, then Siargao. Have a nice day sir! ❤️❤️❤️

    Salted duck egg: its red because its dyed to differentiate it from ordinary eggs. Its buried for a certain time period in extremely salted mud where the salt transfers to the egg thru osmosis. The salt transferred into the also preserves it. And then it is dyed red There are also whire salted eggs which are not colored. Salted egg is rareky eaten as is or by itsrlf. Usually it is sliced and combined into food, salads or pastries. 😊 Safe travels!

  • @edurittenhouse
    @edurittenhouse 6 месяцев назад +2

    Salted egg is usually not eaten on its own because it's too salty. You can mix it with vinegar, onions, and tomatoes and pair it with rice.

  • @robertvelasquez393

    Salted eggs are dyed in red color to distinguish them from the boiled duck eggs that come in its naturally white color.

      The business card is also a very good idea! I know that personally every time I meet a vendor that I do business with I always ask if they have a card or whatsapp. I think I will have to get some cards made while I am here too!

      Major respect for putting out a new video every day while you’re traveling! I know it’s not easy I’m backed up for months haha. I’ve been spending 16 hours a day exploring and recording. It usually then takes me about 4-8 hours to edit. Making it nearly impossible to post same day videos. I definitely see why Chris started the one take style. It makes a lot more sense for daily uploads 🫡 keep up the good work boss and even if we don’t meet up in PH I will continue to follow along with your journey!
      How about 168 and 999 mall tutuban area? If you haven’t been let’s go I could meet you there tonight or Thursday, So many good people and good vendors there!

    the salted egg is dyed pink it's not a natural color and not because of the salt. the only reason why it's pink or red is to distinguish it from a white egg. salted eggs are never eaten on its own it's always an additive to something else like a tomato salad or as a topping to baked goodies like bibingka (a Filipino delicacy popular during Christmas)

    Lol. Salty eggs like that in the Philippines are not eaten directly . Yes it's cooked but it for gourmet such as those in salad dressings or sandwiches. Unless you have a great tolerance to salty food then you can enjoy it but it's not really for directly eating it. We normally add this egg in ensaladas dressing or ensaymada pastries.
