Evening Allen
I bought this gun which is badged you as Giberit and in blue! Really pleased with it. Top quality tool
Hi Allen thanks for all your great videos. I bought the 103 about 18 months ago and it has a fixed head like you say. However I noticed the 103 from Feb. 2021 has a swivel head so assume it’s the same as the Milwaukee.
very useful being looking at getting a press-fit gun
Hi Luke. Saves a lot of time.
Alan be handy if you can add any info on the romax 4000 and the newer rigid keep up the great video
Nicely compared thank you for the Vid
I like the Look of the pex fittings to with the manifolds. Love the idea of one connection going to each point. Just so expensive. Have you seen them you expand the end. ?
awesome material, You answered the biggest question, does hilti mini and novopress(milwaukee) jaws are the same
Hiya. Allen. They say they have a 10 year warranty on these Fittings and I’m impressed with the lubrication that they put on the rubber seals inside to stop them drying out. Do you still think they will last than longer than a good end feed fitting. Also with the heads for the press. Do you have you use the one specified by the fittings. As if you switched from express to one of the others would that mean another set of jaws. Thanks. Harry. I do think there amazing though. The Milwaukee one is so cool.
Hi Allen , 6 month on , have you use the 103 ? Any good? Any downside? Great videos
Hi Alan
Just to ask if there are jaws available to press uponoor mlcp for this particular gun? Cheers
Hi Alan - Thanks for posting this - have you ever used a wired version of these type of tools ?? (eg. a 110volt one) - thanks for your time - All the best for the New Year
No, I would never want a corded one. Thanks.
Good review
Thank you.
Hi Allen. What are the main differences between mapress copper kit 1 (novopress aco202/3 and kit 2 (novapress aco202/3) ?
Great video how much was the new press tool ?
Is it ok for copper and mlcp just by changing the jaws? Does the jaw moves 90⁰ like the rems one
Hi Allen. I have a question you can answer. Are inch jaws suitable for European pipes?
Looks nice and compact 👍
It feels very nice compared to any of the others i have used. 👍
@@AllenHart999 pressing is the way forward, it's the cost of the tools and jaws that make me wince. Had to borrow a gun for a little job I had, so quick. (Geberit)
Nice vid as always Allen, I got the same gun about a month ago and love it. Agree about the app I haven’t even downloaded it.
@@steveowen2503 I do not think i will use the app again 😂😂😂Thanks.
Hi Allen, how did you find the novo press 103 compared to the 102?. Ive also used the 102 and liked the swivel head feature. How does the 103 compare without the swivel head feature?
Some feed back would be appriciated, cheers
102 is definitely better in my opinion. Thanks
Ok, thanks for your feedback. Its much appriciated. 🤝
i see one for sale and was like what is that i need to know lol pretty cool.
The ACO 103 looks similar in size to my Milwaukee 12v pipe cutter? The deal breaker for me is that despite its smaller size, the jaws don't revolve. Thanks Allen for your videos on press fitting and it's down to you that I got into it myself. No more taking risks in my customers properties with a flame now as with press fitting, there's no need. I started off with a AKKU Press and recently upgraded to a Romax which is a great gun. I shopped around and found an online stockist selling 15mm fittings for a pound. Keep the videos coming mate.
Thank You.
I can see the head not rotating a problem .I can recommend the Rothenberg compact. Wish it 45 degree jaws.
👍👍👍👍
Allen, have you tried using M profile Jaws on a b press fittings? I wonder if they are compatible
Apparently they aren't - you need the V or SV (if rothengerger) Jaws for the b press fittings (from screwfix I assume?)
Just got this to rent today. This video has been really usefull in my choice. Thanks how long will the battery last? I’ve only got one ?
Glad it helped
Send me a video review and i will upload it 😂
How the Bluetooth are works on them ?
Would it work with uponor clamps?
I’ve got a rems one ways a ton and sounds like a jet taking off but does the trick fittings are pricey though 👍
Thanks.
Hello, Allen. Where did you purchase your new novopress from? Cheers
The last one came from ebay.
Cheers, Allen..... I managed to hire one( the ACO103) it's the business!
@@raymondparker5126 Happy to help, Thank you very much for watching.
Looks a good piece of kit.
Seen them on eBay for about £500.00 for the body and battery.
Shame you can’t use the REMS jaws on that one.

Allen did you go to the plumbing event in Manchester ?
Yes.
Hi Allen, Can the Novo press be used on air con Hvac pipe connections?
Not sure tbh. Sorry.
Just ordered the Geberit aco 103 plus. Is this good for domestic systems. Boiler replacement and pipework alterations? I use soldered end feed and copper push fit but do find copper push fit expensive and can leak easily 🙄
How you getting on? Worth it?
@@IVIRLUKE go with the rigid rp241 with offset Jaws. Nova press is rubbish
Hi Phil is that novo press better than the Milwaukee gun I’m only buying one for the first time
ruclips.net/video/ZHWIRaPzevg/видео.html
Allen is it true these have to be calibrated yearly and if so how much does it cost?
Yes, I have never owned one long enough. I keep changing them for new video,s
Not our fittings (which can be pressed with SA;M and V contours *shameless plug*)☺ but a very nice video!
Hi Allan where do you get your tools calibrated??
Never had mine done yet, Never owned one long enough. I keep buying the lastest ones to test. Thanks.
so much quieter... another battery system to worry about though. look forward to the long term review, see how it holds up. hilti gear you can throw out the back of the van into the path of an oncoming lorry and still find it works perfect when you retrieve it
I had the 102 for a while and that was great, Should have stuck with that.
totally agree I have both the 102 and the 103, seems like a step backwards to remove the rotating head.
The Hilti gun is a klauke rebadged.
As for the Rems ..... 😖
New one out soon.
HELP. How to change pressure value? Through that app or on the tool itself? Or it's not possible?
Not sure what you are asking sorry.
No idea what that means but thanks.
Looks good I prefer the rems press fitting gun.
I do not like the rems, It’s all down to personal choice. Thanks.
What don’t you like about the rems Alan?
Hi just interested to know why have you bought a new gun when your hilti gun seamed brilliant when you were using it
I missed my 102 and thought i would try a 103. 👍
Can you still use this machine if there is a little bit of water left in the pipe? Or do u have to use is it in the same way as soldering a joint and getting all water out first?
Sand Man You can press with water flowing through the pipe, no problem
Just keep the electrical parts of the tool dry obviously the head can get wet and it will still seal on the pipe
@@lukewallin3604 Have you managed to get one wet?
@@AllenHart999 yup shorted out the board. Found this video looking for a new board to replace it
Worst part is it still works, it just runs as long as there is a battery in it like the trigger is pressed
Allen is the M profile jaws same as the mapress gerbrit jaws?
You buy whichever profile you need.
@@AllenHart999 thanks ive brought the Aco103 uve convinced me to gve press a go its actually not bad at all much quicker aswell only downfall is fittings are abit more expensive but it all evens out due to the speed on use👍👍👍
@@Razz60 I would rather have a 102 but the 103 is very good as well.
@@Razz60so did you figure out if the novopress M jaws compatible with Mapress fittings?
@@magicsilence yes u have to buy the pb1 m profile jaws to fit the aco103 the aco102 jaws dont fit
Where would you recommend to buy one from ?
Lots of the merchants sell them these days. Thanks.
I wonder why the Novopress 103 isnt an upgrade on the 102? It seems a step backwards 👍
Got to agree with you on that. Although the 103 seems very very nice.
Allen Hart No swivel head is a big step backwards for me Bud. Get shut and buy a 102 👍👍
@@SuperWayneyb You mean buy a 102 lol
Allen Hart Yes LOL 😂😂😂😂
Ahh press fitting now I know what these are, not really for a DIYer though. Thanks
BIOHAZARD GAMING No, Not really DIY, Thanks
@@AllenHart999 Yes just had a look at the price of these will stick with 'cheaper' methods. Thanks.
I’m guessing it will be a lot cheaper than the rest.
Which one? Thanks.
How much Allen?

New Novopress ACO103 (now with a swivel head)
www.novopress.de/en/pipe-connecting-technology/products/pressing-units-for-dimensions-up-to-35-40-mm/aco103
head isnt fixed it twists 180
fixed head huge disadvantage
They have updated it now.
Looks alot like hose Milwaukee m-12
I had one of them and couldn’t see any difference with the 102.
They are identical
@@lukewallin3604 👍👍👍
@@AllenHart999 I'm in New England. New Hampshire to be honest. I find your videos are very informative. And to see the differences of what we install here. Compared to England
@@Ken_Myette Wow, You do not get any further than that. Thanks for watching.
Fucking hell that accent.. anyhow what's the price of one of those
