Watching Fool Us over the years I've realized there's actually at least two ways to win. Either by fooling them or doing an amazing performance. This is hands down one of the most amazing performances I've seen on the show, and you could tell by Teller's reactions that he probably felt similarly. Absolutely stunning.
There are some great act on this show like this on, and there are tricks that are created to win via a lot of smoke and mirrors designed to beat P&T. I will take acts like Jaana's every-time. Loved the water and ice play
Huh I guess that does mirror what makes a good magic show. Like the cuts from her last act where she's dancing with the chairs, it's not much of a trick, but it's still magic 😊 Definitely same with this magic act haha I could see a lot of her moves but it was still great 😁
They are using their platform to highlight a lot of great acts that push the art of performance. If they stuck strictly to the central conceit of fooling Penn & Teller, they will generate more and more acts that are designed to ‘fool’ on a technicality, rather than advancing the art of magic. They are giving unorthodox acts tv exposure, and the participants get to host the video of their appearance on their personal channels too, which will drive exposure on an ongoing basis.
I spotted two or three things as well. But it is rudimentary and maybe the camera angles were just right. Even if you know how a trick is done, you can still enjoy the artistic performance. The way Teller looked just proves it. Magic does not disappear if you know the trick, you appreciate the routine even more, when it is executed in such a professional and smooth way. I loved it.
a painter can create a stunning work of art without any mystery of how it was done. the fact that they knew your methods doesn’t in anyway degrade the sheer beauty and mastery of your performance.
The addition of the water was just so unique and creative! And so beautifully done. Most magicians try to wow you into "oohs" and "aahs" but this one was so much more heartfelt. It just draws you in.
This may not have fooled me either, but manipulation has always been the most beautiful style IMO in my 30+ yrs in magic outside (some) closeup. Beautiful routine Jaana ❤️ Everything was executed flawlessly (and beautifully) 💯
So often magic is, when boiled down, just a trick. In the end that's all it ever really was. But this was taking the trick and elevating it to a routine that can ellicit emotions. When it was over I didn't think wow cool trick...I felt wow what a performance. So often magic doesn't get to do that. I don't think one time I asked someone to pick a card and found it to which they said "wow that was beautiful and it moved me" I dunno maybe I'm doing the wrong tricks, but this made me feel more than fooled. I appreciate this piece of art.
I love how you keep going back even though they’re aware of the basics behind the tricks. And obviously they love you if they keep inviting you back. clearly, you can add a level of beauty and entertainment to tricks in a way that no other magician can. So keep going back and wowing them!
Both of her performances on this show were extremely impressive. It's too bad she hasn't been able to get a trophy yet because watching performances like hers is far more fascinating than some of the acts that do end up fooling them. Hope she returns for a third time.
Probably because every trick is easy to see how she does it. Unfortunately very many mistakes or not enough skill yet. But its a great trick, so needs a bit more work. Hope she continues to improve, because clearly a very bright magician with a cool idea.
There's two types of performers on P&T, those on to actually attempt to fool the boys, and those on just to showcase their talent with no intention of fooling. This was obviously one of the later, but you know what? I don't mind at all. Every single movement of hers was beautiful. One of the most mesmerizing acts I've ever seen.
@@Nymaz I very seriously doubt she thought she could fool them at all, same with the producers, they knew Penn & Teller would see exactly what she was doing. But it is a phenomenal performance and absolutely wonderful execution with a good smattering of artistic flair.
Absolutely gorgeous! You made this beyond beautiful, which I think is more impressive than fooling. You have your focus set on what is important: to make magic that is beautiful and wonderful to behold
I honestly dont know what to look for with 99% magic tricks, so therefore i just watch them as they are, and by doing so, it never looses its magic; even when an oopsie happens. This was really awesome 🤗
What I love about slights is that we all know it’s slight. You just focus on the skill. Most, your brain can solve. But when a magician pulls off a slight that your skeptic mind didn’t catch? Man the effect is great.
ive decided to comment befor i hear what penn and .. well .. what pen hast to say :) tellers face spoke for itself . .. when you know some of the moves and you even see one or two things .. if you are still captivated to a point where you see something unexpected and this feeling does not go away even tho you know small parts of it thats just beautiful. it doesnt need to be perfect to a point where you cant explain all it takes is to be bautiful and amazing is what i saw here a beautiful performance thanks and greetings from someone else on this planet :)
Within the theme, I really like how she went from one mode to another throughout the routine. There was no break in the movement. This was really masterful.
One of my favorite things about this show is the expressions of genuine wonder on Teller's face when someone comes along and does something genuinely new. And he was doing that in spades here.
I've been studying magic as a layperson for a long time and I think I know how most of the pulls were done but honestly I had trouble seeing what I thought I should be looking for just due to her pure skill! So for me, that's fooled.
Absolutely beautiful act the last time I was on there I didn't fool them either but I'm thinking about going back once I find something that might fool them😊
That was a beautiful act. Should be a bit painful to work with that much ice!! the idea is amazing!! But they know the manipulation so no wonder they were not full however Teller was mesmerize!!! Good work Jaana!!
amazing sleight of hand, i pretty much knew what you were doing, but hard to notice anything. couple times i noticed you palmed the icicle due your weird hand angle, but didn't see it. only part that was very sloppy and i didn't like, is when you poured water onto table it the icicle dropped from below table, you triggered it too early and you could clearly see it drop before water. if timing would have been perfect, then it would have been much better. i was also distracted by Jaana's beautiful body :)
Teller's jaws dropping is so much better than a trophy. Well done Jaana .
You could see how much Teller was just absolutely loving this. He may not have been fooled, but he thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well done. 😎
When Teller is blown away by another person's skill, we know we're seeing something special. Great routine.
We all did and rightfully so 😊
He looked actually choked up at the end! If you've managed to move Teller to the point of tears, as Penn said, that's magic at its very best.
After seeing Teller’s Shadows act, I understand why he was intrigued.
Both acts have a lot of emotional subtext, and they tell a story.
Only a 5 year old would be fooled by this act.

Sleighs any magician knows really. Two wats to win... Try and mislead them in giving an answer which is wrong.

I just love the look on Teller's face when he is seeing a new trick for the first time. He just absorbs the beauty of it and laughs in wonder.
He wasn't fooled lol
it's not a new trick, just a very new/creative way of presenting it.
@@albertlwj which would be a new trick....

Teller is amazing, he still experience wonderment and tears looking at magic after all these years, a real passionate about the craft👍

How heartfelt this performance has become for Teller 🥰 Good luck with your skill growth!
she is gorgeous. graceful and elegant in her performance. playing this at 0.1 speed gives up all the tricks.
Compliments! Very beautiful idea.. loved it! So poetical
Beautiful to watch; poetic, graceful, mesmerising.
You fooled me, and had me spellbound.
Wow, it doesn't even matter if you fool someone with this act or not it's just beautiful to watch. Amazing work
Very bland moving routine of wonderful sleight of hand like a ballet, thank you for sharing it with us all! Bravo!!
This was pure beauty. Such a wonderful act.
Elegant mastery that enchanted us all, artistic poetry in motion that blended artistic expression and illusion. Bravo bravo; encore encore ❤
This is such beautiful and artistic performance! The music was great as well
Amazing job Jaana you have elevated not only manipulation but the art of Rocco Sillano! Beautiful!
This may not have fooled me either, but manipulation has always been the most beautiful style IMO in my 30+ yrs in magic outside (some) closeup. Beautiful routine Jaana ❤️ Everything was executed flawlessly (and beautifully) 💯

the tricks are all based on very common concepts/methods, just presented in a "new" way. the aim of the show is to fool P&T, not wow them.

A beautiful piece, very Artistic, its like a true expression of her inner hidden beauty and mystique 💚!
Fabulous routine, incredible skill and of course to see Teller’s face is a joy when he’s really impressed.
Two talents/passions flowing perfectly together. Beautiful performance!
I could pay to watch this act! Omg, thats absolutely stunning! After Shin Lim, im so amazed by another magician.
I felt at home watching this, it was a pleasure for the eyes. Very satisfying with the water and ice disappearing all the way
What a wonderful performance! Thanks Jaana!!! Instant new fan!
One of the best performances, definitely the most aesthetic performance I've seen on Fool US, just gorgeous!
I'm quite moved by the storytelling through magic and dance. This had so much emotion and expression in it. I felt transported. ❤
So beautiful! Always satisfying when an act has such a unifying theme throughout. :-)
Stunning artistry. Simply magnificent!!
Teller was absolutely in awe. That alone is an accomplishment!!!!
Just amazing !!! love it so much, you're awesome
Absolutely gorgeous! You made this beyond beautiful, which I think is more impressive than fooling. You have your focus set on what is important: to make magic that is beautiful and wonderful to behold
Flashed a couple of times, but also did some crazy moves!
Overall really good 👍👍👍

This was really awesome 🤗
What a wonderful presentation, Thank You very much!
Beautiful performance, enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you!
When you combine good magic with good dance, it's such a sight to behold.
What I love about slights is that we all know it’s slight. You just focus on the skill. Most, your brain can solve. But when a magician pulls off a slight that your skeptic mind didn’t catch? Man the effect is great.
It's funny how cross-signals from the performance can affect the brain: I read your last sentence as "Man the effect is chilling." 😂
Sleight.
what a Masterpiece!!!💖
What a beautiful performance. Cheers!!!

Teller looks like he loves magic tricks so much more, amazing guy:)
Teller was almost in tears by the end of the routine.
Excellent (as each time !!!) Bravo Jaana ! Vive Jaana 😉
that was one of the coolest things i've ever seen
Oh wow what a beautiful amazing act. Well done.
Absolutely one of the best performances in the show’s history
Who cares if you fooled them? When you get Teller so involved in the routine, that is high praise indeed!
Many of them fool… while still getting high praise.
Within the theme, I really like how she went from one mode to another throughout the routine. There was no break in the movement. This was really masterful.
I love this!!!
The best magic is a joy to watch even if you know how it's done. This is great magic.
Even though I understood how it worked, it was fantastic regardless, and I loved the imagery and art you put into this. Quite beautiful, I must say.
One of my favorite things about this show is the expressions of genuine wonder on Teller's face when someone comes along and does something genuinely new. And he was doing that in spades here.
She's amazing even without the tricks because her movement is already so magical.
That was just lovely :)
So beautiful, I subscribed!
So entertaining. And a beautiful routine by a stunning magician.
One of the most beautiful routines I've ever seen on the show.
A woman with that creativity and artistic imagination makes her so attractive
Trophy or not, that was a great and coherent performance!
so beatiful performance. Congrats
Regardless of how it went, I just love the slight of hand and the movements, so talented!
A really beautiful performance in the world of water and ice which are magical things on their own if you think of it ❤
Most definitely my favourite performance of all time, absolutely perfect in every way. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love watching Teller's face during this. He was loving it!
That was an amazing routine!
Fooling Penn and teller is a massive achievement.
But performing a masterful routine like this, is what impresses folks like me.
Amazing Magician 👏👏👏👏❤
I've been studying magic as a layperson for a long time and I think I know how most of the pulls were done but honestly I had trouble seeing what I thought I should be looking for just due to her pure skill! So for me, that's fooled.
That was great!
really pretty performance. This shouldn't just be a magic act - this should go onto the large theater stages and on broadway as performance dance.
Oh that was beautiful
That was fun to watch.
Great act. The magic IMO is in the execution of the trick.
I love seeing that look of wonder on Teller's face! 😀
WOW, what a great act.
Fooled me.
I did enjoy Teller's pleasure. The love of the illusion went over my head.
Wow, that is just about being cold and hot at the same time. Cold enough to freeze water, and hot enough to melt it instantly.
Absolutely beautiful act the last time I was on there I didn't fool them either but I'm thinking about going back once I find something that might fool them😊
Awesome video man 😎
Kids in Africa: We have enough water to last through the week. Praise the lord.
Jaana:
The icicle disappearing is great juggling, the drips of water appearing in its place is magical
Not teller over there crying actin like this a work of art
ok when pen starts with "what a great routine" I guess you know what is coming next
That was a beautiful act. Should be a bit painful to work with that much ice!! the idea is amazing!! But they know the manipulation so no wonder they were not full however Teller was mesmerize!!! Good work Jaana!!
So good!
Prettiest magician I've ever seen ❤
Very cool act 😍

At some stages her hand slide movements so so obvious and you can tell she had it in her hand . Good attempt
I picked it up really fast. Maybe it was the camera angles... She's good though.
I loved it 🔥
Simply beautiful. At least for Penn, Teller and the rest of us who can spot real magic, when we see it...
Beautiful !
Loved the boots.
Nice routine, so beautiful!
Anyone know the soundtrack? So beautiful! Much like this whole performance
