Such an easy trick. I can see the guy standing next to him in the invisibility suit handing him stuff when he needs it. The invisible guy is doing all the work!
It fooled ME, and that's what matters. One thing I especially enjoyed was that this is not a card trick; because so much of what we see on Fool Us is a card trick. You did something unique! Well done!
I love this guy, I've been in his theater many times in Old Town Kissimmee, sometimes other magicians perform strongly recommend visiting to enjoy his show
I love that when the chalk came out the audience knew what was coming next, even though you could hear their disbelief in their reaction. I would love to see this done live, what an impeccble performance! ❤
In my live performances, I can hear my audience talking to each other. And after the chalk comes out, I can _hear_ someone saying, "Psh, what's next, the pool cue?" And when it pops out just a moment later, the room goes nuts. It's the best.
@@magicofjafo every bit of that trick was beautiful. I don't have Penn's expertise and don't usually try to work out how a trick is done. In this case I enjoyed your artistry, the music and the whole performance. I'd love to see it performed in front of a live audience.
@@magicofjafo That was exactly my thought and the next thing you‘d have heard would have been my jaw hitting the ground... I‘ve binged a lot of P/T Fool Us episodes but your performance was one of the very best, thank you for sharing it here on YT!
The amazing part is knowing what to expect and still being impressed by the execution. What a flawless performance. It is obvious the hours it took to make this trick seem so effortless.
I'm also wondering why so many magicians use that specific shade of green...in person you couldn't use it as a green screen, could you? I mean, I've seen people move in front of cards with that color, that plank with the hole in it, clothes, etc.
Incredible. The ‘hole’ routine was just amazing! Watched it three times it’s so beautifully fascinating. The icing on the cake is watching this in 2024 and still seeing the lovely Alyson!
I miss Alyson so much! 😢 Brooke has absolutely ZERO personality. The host is supposed to be sort of a cheerleader for the magicians, "against" Penn & Teller, and have at least what appear to be genuine reactions. Brooke doesn't seem to have any warmth, genuineness, wonder, or any love of magic whatsoever. She's sexy, and that's literally it. Alyson was PERFECT for this show.
This is one of my favorite kinds of tricks. I personally really like to know how tricks are done, some amazing effects are achieved through methods that feel cheap. This effect is far from cheap, even if you know how it's done it's so smooth that it still doesn't quite feel real. Absolutely lovely execution.
Jafo used to live in our hometown in Tennessee. He would do magic tricks in the living room for us. He made a coin float 1 time that blew my mind. He never would reveal how! It makes me proud that someone from my hometown is a master at his craft!
Brother, that was flawless and a Beautiful piece of magic. You are the shoulders we stand on. You will certainly be remembered as one of the Greats. It truly was a pleasure to experience!!!
I saw Jerry Andrus do a magic lecture around 1979 in Baldwin, New York at Creative Magic. When he did zone zero everyone in the room just looked at each other as if we couldn't believe we had just seen that. We were all just stunned. He was amazing!
I really don't care how it's done. As always impressed with Penn and Teller and the sheer knowledge of their craft. And often times I love it when they call out the magician. In this case, even though they knew, I loved the elegance of the trick more than my need to know how it was done. What I loved the most about this trick, was the fluidity especially when he stuck his arm visibly through the hole into the direction of us, the audience, to then turn around and without missing a beat present another ball. That moment made it complete for me. Very well done mate! Loved it!
I recently saw Jafo in Orlando and he does a really great show! Both amazing and entertaining! I would surely recommend stopping in if you're in the area. 👍👍
This illusion was very well executed, and I think adding talking to it would have diminished its effect. Some tricks rely on fast talk and patter, and some, like this, are more eloquent in the silence. Very well-done, and very entertaining.
I was very much taken by Penn's comment right towards the end: "If you knew how it was done, you'd be just as impressed". Says a lot for pure professionalism.
Penn and Teller should try promoting a road tour of magicians that appeared on their show. They can call it The Fool us road tour. The Magicians that fooled them get to be head liners.
Very nice! Even if you know how it's done (and I can only make an educated guess), it's still really impressive! How smoothly and cleanly it's done - actually doing it requires so much more skill and practice than simply describing (or in my case, guessing) how it's done.
@@fairamir1 penns coding has always been easy to understand. He mentioned the guy idk who he is but obviously that’s how he did it. And he said collapse and also mentioned the suit fitting him well. So the pool cue has to be collapsible and the balls were in his sleeve
Penn's comment at the end is spot on. I'm nothing even close to an expert, but I kinda figured out all the work going on behind the scenes from watching, and I'm even _more_ impressed by it as a result. Those are some strong fingers and impressive reach, and even getting the forearms involved? it took me a bit to notice that! Still trying to figure out that final cue, though. I guess some mystery is a good thing too. I applaud a fantastic performance.
Did they though? Maybe a hunch unless you are a magician? Just saying _oh he must pull them from somewhere out of his jacket_ doesn’t count. No shit Sherlock… the fact you can’t tell by his performance, knowing fully well they are real biljart balls, defines this trick. Flawless execution at that too!
@@jwvandegronden I think you misunderstood Adams comment. He’s basically saying that that effect was so clean and uncomplicated story wise that it didn’t need the magician to be constantly explaining what was happening. He was complimenting the magician on a beautifully constructed trick.
No way! We had a mutual friend in Cincy a loooooong time ago and I was able to hangout with you a few times. We would go to a bar down the street from our place and it was always awesome when you would perform for random people and blow their minds. So crazy this popped up in my feed, congratulations Jafo!
Very nice, very slick. I was only guessing how you did it, because I couldn't see anything. A couple of Penn's comments makes me think I at least have an idea of how it was done, but man, had I not had almost 9 years of watching P&T FU I would not have had a clue. Well done!

I have no idea what the hell you did, and after so many slight of hands tricks I thought looking around would tell me something but that was just out of this world. Do something like that 500 years ago and youre doomed bro.
So the pool cue is collapsible? If it’s not and I’m misreading penns code then I don’t understand how he pulled the cue out like that. You can see behind the board. He’s not pulling it from the table or his shirt lol
Such a clean performance. I was like "what's next, the pool cue?" and when it appeared I just lost it 😂 on a side note, I don't know if it's just me but has somebody already told you that you look like Dr. House, M.D?
I'm proud to say this is the first Fool Us performance where I think I could offer a plausible method for every effect in the routine! Obviously that doesn't take anything away from how smoothly it was all performed, and chances are I'm at least partially wrong on some of the moves since I'm not a magician.
I love P&T Fool Us and I LOVED Pen & Teller: Bullshit even more. I really wish they’d bring Bullshit back, but I really just wish that P&T would host more TV shows.

it's a well done sleight of hand trick, but his execution was off during a couple of the parts, and you can see things moving if you know where to look. The magic is in the execution of the trick. This was entertaining and flawless. This is the type of magician you pay to go see.
I like the fact that he didn't feel the need to talk at any time during the performance and was letting the magic and his movements carry the show.
