Credits to KaanGaming for the mod, Path of Aspid! It adds a Primal Aspid to Path of Pain that teleports to you and is unkillable, or if you play with the config file, as many Primal Aspids as you'd like! I found 50 was the limit before the game started breaking, so I went with that. This was a run with four segments, one for each room, so I used a save state prior to each room and each room took me 5-10 tries.

All this training just means that when Silksong does come out Fireb0rn's first playthrough will last 15 minutes and end with him beating the final boss blindfolded

Given how the whole community described the aspids, this is what I expected them to be
The majority of hits the aspids got in were due to their teleporting. If it weren't for that, fireb0rn actually would've stayed ahead of them the whole time.
Fireborn has done the path of pain hitless in a dark mode. I think that if the aspids didn't teleport, it would have been straight up easy
They didnt, there are places where they couldnt follow him so he placed another 50 aspids each time that happened

snail build + carefree melody pretty much being required to complete this is terrifying. if there’s one thing that’s normally okay about path of pain it’s that you’ve got plenty of time to heal if you need to, and instead of taking that away this disintegrates it. and carefree melody… you’re never safe, there’s 50 invincible teleporting primal aspids sniping you.

@@Dynvali you can find it in mossbag's cut content video. Dream diving was originally meant to be like small challenges that would give you lore about the npcs at the end but it was cut from the game unfortunately.

It was supposed to be a mechanic using the dream nail that, when you deal nail an NCP, you could enter their mind and explore. Team Cherry decided to scrap the idea because it would have taken too long.

Well this was oddly terrifying, just imagining that feeling of having 50 IMMORTAL Primal aspids chasing you in Path of Pain is anxiety inducing.

You mastered PoP so much it looks like it's just a peaceful walk in the park for you. I'd think path of pain is not hard at all after seing this video. *If I never tried it myself, that is.* But unfortunately, I tried. And the whole thing I witnessed makes me shake in terror

@@notveryartificial4486 the entirety of white palace is hard because of those zoomin' sawblades that enter the screen without a proper warning giving you bascially no chance to react. But for fire, they are no longer a problem because he has done white palace / PoP so much that he knows by hard where they are.
