I always like to put on a show whenever the opportunity comes. During the grimm fight I bow at the beginning, during the coliseum fights I'll bow then c-dash to show power, during the pantheons I will swing my nail in the air after every fight until the end, where I give a bow. After mantises will bow, really any combat situation that's less just survival and more for honor I will do my best to show that honor.

So what's happening from Millibelle's perspective is that the Knight kicked her down the stairs into a corner of that dark, empty room down there, and then sat down between her and the exit and just... _stared_ at her.
I would argue giving the flower to elder bug is necessary. He’s the first bug that doesn’t try to kill us, he has told us all he knows in the hopes of helping us on our quest, and has asked for nothing in return.
Update: I DID IT! I'll tell you this, I'm glad there isn't an achievement. It just feels now the way it should, I think; that this trip was for the Elderbug, and just because he deserves something nice. Not for a cheevo.
I am so pissed off that. On my first time through when I knew nothing about the game, my friend convinced me to kill Marissa. He told me that doing that would get me lots of lore stuff. I didn't want to kill her, bit at the same time I wanted lore stuff. So I killed her, which then my friend proceeded to call me a horrible person for doing so. I am still pissed off by that to this day.
I did it because I was still learning about how the dreamnail works. It's really frustrating that the game doesn't tell you who will disappear forever if you dreamnail them, you just have to figure it out. I would never have done that if I'd known.

Marissa is one of the most memorable moments of the game for me. To me Hollow Knight was all about the adventure. The little moments were just as important as the fights, it made the game all the more rewarding

The reason why I love this part of Hollow Knight so very much is that it speaks more than anything else to the possibility of the Knight having a personality. The fact that there are options to sit with Quirrel, to juggle shells, to be a dick at the hot spring, all of the choices that are available (and the ones you choose to do) are, to me, examples of options that are only available because the Knight WANTS to do them. I have so much love in my heart for this fucking creature

I understand the very well-made and edited comedic value of this video, but these are some of the things I treasured most in this game. I’ll never forget how I felt the first time doing them.
You forgot trying to descend down into the abyss without hitting any platforms on your way to the bottom. You can also use descending dark for style points.
Listening to Myla's humming after a perilous journey through Deepnest or The Abyss is one of the most soul-repairing experiences I've ever had with a videogame.
I personally like 2 think all these "unnecessary" things show off the Knights personality more! They're not hollow, they still do. Well childlike things like splashing in the hot springs, playing with the various skulls they find, just sitting and hanging out w various characters. It makes them feel a little more real :]
Keep in mind, we have the dream nail, which grants us the ability to see ghosts in certain spots in the game. So basically it would look like ghost is just staring at nothing
