    When doing this exercise, you always keep your head up toward the shuttle and don't run around the court but step around.

    Sir...there is no need of that doging excersie...and also that running.... footwork is more important than running....but the exercise is quite effective...need some improvements...but its fine...thank you

      There is few exercises where you move like in singles but generaly its for singles and doubles

    I never learned like that in my badminton career, especially the dodging thing, it is really useless according to my experience, and some foot work is such as training for football not really necessary for badminton. Taiwanese~

      Thanks for comment. Every has different opinion what is useless and what not. Many exercises are for general agility and fast feet like in fotball. Especially the dodging exercises is not exactly for badminton ( special cognitive part is in ) but you can try it with kids and you will see how much they will like it. More movement the body know - better. Filip

      I think it's not useless, it helps in building anticipation , and agility is all about quick movements , if its just moving towards cones , it's just change in direction, acceleration, deacceleration, and sudden change in movements - go by definition.. you'll find everything useful
