I made a video to go along with the full song, the order of clips is based on the legendary 2006 San Diego Chargers season when we went 14-2.

The name originated from the USC football games then musician and team kicker Tommy Trojan played and helped inspire then owner Barron Hilton when Hilton attended the USC football games at the LA Coliseum every time Tommy would run out to the field to attempt the extra point kick the USC fans would yell out Tommy’s Charge! Chant he created as a musician

The lightning bolt came from Barron Hilton liking the Air Force college team logo.
Till this day that Charge! Chant is heard at the games and through out other sporting events.

Raiders Copy cat shield logo but the true original L.A. logo is the 1960 Los Angeles Chargers battle horse shield logo.

This is EASILY the best NFL team song.....As an Englishman, I had my pick of teams to choose to follow, back in the 80's, and I loved the Chargers pretty early on - for various reasons they became my team. I've found it hard to get behind them since they left San Diego, though....it just feels wrong! So now, I follow my second team - the Jets!

I'm a Titans fan living in Toronto and it pisses me off that the Chargers aren't in San Diego. Also, I'm in love with San Diego. I think it's my favourite place on earth. Been there twice, once in 2016 and then in 2019. Fell in love with the city both times. When I heard this song at the Charger vs Titans game in 2016, I thought it was absolutely awesome.

I wouldn't go that far, but I will say as a chargers fan, while they haven't won a super bowl, I don't take that as a bad team if their regular season is good. The chargers has also created like 3 to 4 hall of famers and were influential for being one of the first teams to use the Air Cornell strategy.
