I ran a plug in mig welder when I need it for thin metal or the spool gun for aluminum, but with a volt sensing suitcase welder you can run it off this welder.
as he said there are suitcases you can put in CC mode and they will work. Personally I would rather just plug in a small mig welder like the Lincoln 210 mp or fronius transsteel or what ever other mig welder you prefer to use. they are cheaper and more versatile than a suitcase. And if you get one of the ones mentioned they also run stick and tig. so you could have one guy running mig/stick/tig while another guy is welding with the actual welder as long as your not running too many amps on either machine.

Assuming one has a separate air compressor already. Is there any way to do plasma cutting with the champion elite?
Yeah I have a small DeWalt air compressor on the truck of course because it's at 11000 watt generator it'll run any plasma cutter that's 120v or 240v
So with no CV, are you able to run portable mig/tig boxes off it? I'm trying to get a clear answer on the difference. Thank you.
