Oh yes, that awful wet/soggy/cold/warm/clingy feeling. I know it well. Nearly time for winter textiles all the time now. Oh well, such is the UK weather!
I've been holding out Al... but I think you are right, time to bring out the old winter textiles... oops can't find them though, better buy some nicer ones I guess ;-)
philjonesuk ... aka... Forest Gump! "there was sideways rain, and fat heavy rain, and stinging rain, and even rain that came up from underneath you!..."
...and we're just entering winter now ugh! Time for a 4 seasons textile jacket i think...I wonder what percentage of bikers continue through the harsher times...
this is the stuff I use, meant for cars but works great on visors Diamondbrite rain screen. Disperses water aerodynamically from your screen, amazing improvement in wet weather visibility by creating a non stick surface so snow, ice, frost, road dirt and flies are easily removed.
I find the Nikwax visor stuff works great, the rain just runs off, but as it's (maybe not anymore!) summer I don't bother applying it. Guess it's time to start again :(
Got soaked in Cornwall a few weeks ago despite setting off on a lovely "summers" day, so I know that feeling. BTW I don't spose you meant any offence with the "gayyyyy" thing but could have done without it :-)

Haha epic reference there sir!
Haven't we all been there... summer gear + rain, but I feel you, think positive and take it as an experience :-)

I generally do ride all year, so winter waterproof textile time :(

come to Ireland and we will show you real rain :(
I can only imagine the horror if it was worse that that!!!
Hahahahahaha alway hate getting soaked :P
Especially when you have to do the "full diaper" walk from the bike to the house... :p
Never trust weather forecast :)
Lesson learnt painfully!
If I ever find the weather man in a dark alley he is going to be in trouble.... If you would stop thinking about me you wouldn't be so wet!

No offence meant, guess you haven't watched Dutchrudder's vlogs then where I "borrowed" the idea from!
