He dropped 58 on the bobcats and fouled out Kobe was on another level
problem was these were all regular seaosn games where his teams were basically garbage. He doesnt have signature playoff moment or series else hd be even higher IMO
So what were Jordan's teams before Scottie arrived? Bird had a hall of fame starting line up? Magic played with the greatest Center of all time, Wilt played with Jerry West in a 9team league. Name one player Kobe played with that could bring the ball up the court and get his own shot? Kobe played with 1 elite player his whole career Pau Gasol was never elite. Whenever you gave Kobe a solid team he always came thru never needed a big three.
Speaking of all-time greatest scorers, you HAVE to include MJ, Wilt, Kobe and KD. As for the last spot on a top 5 list, there are several contenders: Kareem, James Harden, Allen Iverson, LeBron James, Steph Curry, Jerry West, George Gervin and even T-Mac. Pete Maravich was a great scorer, but should be somewhere around 20th place.

@@NickA_1992 Bro people just be saying anything 🤦♂
Kobe in his prime, was scoring 40 a game in a low scoring league. In my eyes kobe as a scorer can only be second to MJ but KD is up there for sure.
He is not higher then lebron. Lebron averages more points then kobe for a career and was way more efficient then kobe
harden must be on there too then, harden mj and wilt are the only players to ever average 36
@@amdude1015 only casuals think that bro Tracy mcgrady is a better scorer then Lebron let’s be honest
@@amdude1015 And he does it in the regular season, playoffs, and finals too.
@@kobeisthegoat332 calling me a casual, but you brough up Tracy mcgrady?? A very inefficient scorer that’s averages 19ppg for a career?
Bron doesn’t even have a season below 20ppg.
The beat duo on TV..
Mad dog & Steven A are magic
I can work with this list that Chris "The Mad Dog" Russo made--mainly because Michael Jordan is #1 & as a Chicago Bulls fan, that makes me happy, but, that's another story for another time.
Here's my list:
1) Michael Jordan.
2) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
3) Kobe Bryant.
4) Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain.
5) George "The Ice-Man" Gervin.
Elgin Baylor & Pete "The Pistol" Maravich are honorable mentions, in my book--as great as they were in their own respective rights.
I’ve never heard anyone of any generation bring up Pistol Pete in a greatest scorers convo 😂😂
I just looked up some of his old videos. Pistol Pete was🔥🔥🔥... but he's not top 5. Maybe top 15 tho
It’s a first for me too 😭😭 but mad respect tho cause he was good
Because you're a casual and dont know basketball
Check out his NCAA record and learn
But in college he averaged 44 lol
Nah I respect it, I wouldn't personally but I'm not mad at it.
Mad Dog is doing such a good job. He’s a real nba historian. I don’t think SAS understands what a scorer is. He brings up the attributes and characteristics that Durant have and is capable of while Mad Dog is bringing up facts and of what these players actually did…. He’s 7 foot , has a 100 ft wing blah blah SO WHAT!!!!
So what?are you serious 4 scoring titles, career 27. 2 points per game scorer, on 50/38/88 splits.💀
Kd in terms of ability to score the basketball should be up there. Period. The ability to score from every part of the court is arguably unmatched combined with the fact that all that ability lives in a 7 foot frame making him virtually unblockable.
Going by what you said, then lebron should definitely be in that list no??

Lebron with 1094 consecutive games of 10ppg+ . Next closest, MJ with 866. #2 all time leading scorer. Consistency has to be valued.
That is regular season games. If you add playoffs Lebron is way down and Jordan is way up. I guess you can add like 100 games on MJ between 1990 and 2001
Glad to see that someone is FINALLY giving Pistol the respect he deserves!
Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in the twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you're no longer accumulating but withdrawing, it's hard to be anything but cautious...

For people not familiar with Maddog Russo he's a legend in New York sports talk radio. It's no surprise that SAS likes him and the chemistry is where it is.
Anthony Mason is not on the list!
81 points , 65 against Portland, 62 on Dallas in 3 quarters , 61 on the Knicks , 60 on Memphis, 60 in his last game of his career, 55 on Jordan including 42 points in the first half. 4 straight 50 point games the next game he had 43. He dropped 58 on the bobcats and fouled out Kobe was on another level
problem was these were all regular seaosn games where his teams were basically garbage. He doesnt have signature playoff moment or series else hd be even higher IMO
The buzzer beater on Phoenix , 2010 Western conference finals. 2009 NBA finals. 48 on the kings lol

Kobe bricked a lot. I ain’t having him in top 5.
Kobe? Nahh… He chucked up a lot of garbage in the Finals most years. Shaq had more of a right to be on that list than Kobe
