Why not?
@@muddywaters92 none of those things require a top 5 toughest person ever to do them.
@@lessthanaminutenbaclips7409 mentally and physically yes it does. Lot of players wouldn’t be able to handle losing a coach, switching positions from PG to C. Having everyone you know be afraid of you because of a disease. If you don’t think any of that requires mental and physical toughness then you’re just being ignorant.
@@muddywaters92 there is nothing to handle when you lose an NBA coach. You just play, you don't have to be top 5 toughest players ever to be a 5x champion. You're very confused, there are players who won 5 rings and arent on the top 5 list.
John Stockton would be on my top five for this category, considering his longevity WITHOUT load management.
Good call actually.
Iverson could be there and even Lebron because of the many times he rolled his ankle or was hurt unknowingly to the public and he still played. Kobe most definitely, but when we consider
Mental toughness we need to redefine it when it comes to basketball.
Yeah getting carried off the court in the 2014 Finals with cramps is so tough. C'mon
Stop it with Lebron! The man couldn’t play through a cramp; he may be physically built, but he’s mentally weak.
LeBron is not tough..he's durable. But far from tough...I'd even say he's the softest physical specimen in history
@@angbrando7704 wow. What makes him soft?
@@jameskennerly4412 He whines...he had to be carried from a cramp..and Delonte West..
the face when mad dogg mentioned gus johnson lol
Iverson is top 5 toughest player. Period. Leaving him off is crazy.
Mad Dog please do a Top 5 problems of todays NBA
or top 5 changes that will make the NBA watchable again.
Teezy’s A- List toughest players of all time
Jordan ( no debate)
Kobe (no debate)
Curry (man gets bear hugged off the ball. People step under his 3 pt attempts no foul. Knocked to the ground every time he drives no foul. Still comes out and performs )
Bird
Dirk ( 2011 playoff alone puts him on the list)
Curry 💀
You really put Curry on an all time toughness list? Also, Dirk? Mannnn get out of here. Jordan, Kobe, Bird are all good choices. Jimmy Bulter and Rodman.
If u a warriors fan just say it
Horrible list
Good point about Rodman...The Worm made it an art form.
Mad dog was good at first but now I’m getting tired of him and his prehistoric references
Would you like spend Civilized today as a Caveman like barbarian just as a Theme Party?
We like to clown Mad Dog but my man knows the history of the game. Sure his takes could be outdated but I'll be damned if some of y'all say he's an idiot. Because he's not.
It's kinda good for TV tho Madd Dog mentioning older players. Most of these players ya'll never heard of so its a learning experience.
I guess his list is based on who will fight during the game.
Where is Ben Wallace? Where is Dennis Rodman? Where is Charles Oakley?
Top 5.. bunch of the league is going to be left out. It's personal preference
Prime Kawhi Leonard is slept on he’s a better defender than draymond imo
Bring these Mad Dog A List back in 2024
Love the Kobe shout out but id also add Allen Iverson...the dude weighed like 109 pounds and was beast
Not Gus Johnson 😭
Nice Video !
Rodman, KG, Ben Wallace, A.I?
You know what, as hot a take Mad Dog takes. I’m glad he’s shining a light on some of these other players I know nothing about. I love the game that I just like watching how the game has evolved.
How did he ignore all of the 90's knicks. That entire team was toughness personified
Stephen A fighting for his life to be “new media” 😂
Y’all go look at how many years played and how many games John Stockton missed. That’s all I will say. It’s insane.
Idk if any of those players compete with Ron Artest, Ben Wallace, Demarcus Cousins, Jermaine O’Neal, Shaq, Tony Allen, Bill Laimbeer, Isiah Thomas, Allen Iverson, etc
At least when mad dog talks about players that I have never heard of because it's before my time I get to learn something new. Also it's nice for him to at least bring up other sports more than just football and basketball. PS I would put on A.I in on this list for me, admittedly that's my own personal bias. Ben & Rasheed could easily be honest list too if they want to talk about fist fights 🤣
Horace Grant, Oakley, Lambeer, Shaq, Rodman
Gosh this guy love the 1920 basketball
Isiah Thomas, Wes Unseld, Kobe, Bird, MJ. Honorable mention to DWade & Cowens
I'd like to know who draymond shut down defensively.... please tell me
larry bird. played with a broken back. broken eye socket. played with concussion. no drama, no bitchin, no complain. and the legend would fight anyone.
Mad Dog was alive and watched these players. He KNOWS what he's talking about.
Allen Iverson, the best pound for pound player to ever play the game, has to be on this list.
AC Green played like 1,700 games straight. Most of that in LA... ...and he never slept with a Laker Girl.
*That's Tough*
Mad Dog for the win!!!! No School like the Old School!
Any older era player smokes modern day dudes in fights. A lot of teams literally trained boxing/karate back than because fighting was so prominent. 🤣🤣
Maybe they learned it so advanced By there teacher Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee or something.
