Holy shit, I was just looking at the updates the other day. I love the fact that they're introducing more verticality. The first levels did start to feel really flat very fast.
I like how even the magic trees are physics based, not game wise but irl wise, it's about things that govern the laws of physics irl, so not fire or lighting but energy, i do remember seeing old vids of displacing magic which is mostly teleportation with a shadowy aesthetic
thanks for the uploads! i bought the game recently because of your videos getting recommended to me, and it's a really great game. i didn't even play prior to this patch, but your excitement for the update is contagious

Something I wanted to comment on is that when you have a learned skill, you can select it in the tree and it will have a slight glow around it. Pretty sure this is the specialization that the devs were talking about. Edit: they said it's not functional yet in the update

I found a key, attached to a collar, in the dogs hen on the first level (then, found a scroll where someone is telling they put a key on Han, saying "good luck to anyone trying to get it" or something... Han was the dog i guess.) BUT, couldnt find the lock where i can use it on !...

They have been working on this game for eight long years and still it not fully balanced and yes, the update to Majic is awesome but what about the Warrier/fighter it still the poorest unbalanced player in the game. I never seen anyone ever finish this game or even sure there is an end to it and having played it for eight years just to now have this upgrade is a joke. Dev's may be like little gods of evil allowing us to suffer for years as they live off the money in luxury is really low.

Next big update is 0.9.5 which is next year, so maybe we will get the full game in 2025. Anyone following the development knows how close that is.
