I live in belgium / antwerp I am from 1955, I found in my youth doris day a beautiful lady with a nice voice, I always liked when a film was given on TV .. so many movies were not there, regrettable .. because there are many movies of her but was not shown in my country, but stay her big fan and in the meantime she is already 95 years, if it was possible to catch a glimpse in the US then I would definitely go .. will her never forget, I send her a warm hug from here. I always loved Doris Day, grew up in abusive home and seeing her movies were the only thing that help me get through. I ran away at 12 and wanted to find her and ask her if I could be her maid. Instead got picked up and held prisoner and so many bad things. Life has never been easy but no matter what's going on if I watch Doris it makes me feel good. I pray that she is Happy and Feeling Loved.

I live in spain rescuing hundreds of stray dogs and fundraising alot and and 2 yrs before she died i emailed the doris day animal rescue foundation and she sent me three signed photos to help with my fundraising. And today im laid up with a broken arm and laid on the sofa and just watched Glass bottom boat film, and young at heart, was a fantastic trip down memory lane, god bless Doris 🙏❤️

I always loved Doris Day, grew up in abusive home and seeing her movies were the only thing that help me get through. I ran away at 12 and wanted to find her and ask her if I could be her maid. Instead got picked up and held prisoner and so many bad things. Life has never been easy but no matter what's going on if I watch Doris it makes me feel good. I pray that she is Happy and Feeling Loved.

I've spent the weekend watching The Doris Day Show marathon, how special! A great actress & singer but most especially to me her love of all animals! I wish I could do for animals as she has done! My beloved Mother would have been her age & so watching Ms. Day's songs & theatrical works are part of my childhood! But, most important to me is her defense for animals. Best wishes for Doris & all she's accomplished!

As a child I recall having an 8 x 10 picture of her and saying, " I want to be like her when I grow up" ~ lol ~ and as a 15 year old teenager I saw her in "Storm Warning" where she was murdered by Steve Cochran. I hated that actor for many years. Oh how I cried, even knowing it was just a movie. To this day she is still my favorite. I never was like her and in my elder senior years she is still my 'idol'. Actress and singer Doris Day made nearly three dozen films and more than 600 recordings. At the height of her career, she topped both the billboard and the box office charts. Day died of pneumonia this morning, Monday May 13, 2019 at the age of 97.
Doris made 39 films in 20 years.
I always loved Doris Day. She is & always has been a smart & caring person. Wish the world had more Doris Days.

Beatuful lady, i was brought up with doris films, my late mum n dad adored her. I live in spain rescuing hundreds of stray dogs and fundraising alot and and 2 yrs before she died i emailed the doris day animal rescue foundation and she sent me three signed photos to help with my fundraising. And today im laid up with a broken arm and laid on the sofa and just watched Glass bottom boat film, and young at heart, was a fantastic trip down memory lane, god bless Doris 🙏❤️
Terry passed in 2004 and the Love album was released in 1994, so the interview was prob late 94 or early 95. Doris would have been 73 here. What a gal, terrific sense of humor and her standing up at the end, what a figure for a 73 yr old. May she RIP.
