  • In this video I go through the steps on changing the paper roll for the Canon Prograf 2100 or the Canon Prograf 2000. Both Printers have the same process.

    This printer is great for personal use or a small business. Check out my other video where I go through the steps of creating a successful at home Canvas Business. Link below.

    Great video! Is the roll on this printer compatible with both 2" and 3" core paper?

    @koachkrafts Hello! How wide is that roll? I recently got the 2100 pro and when I try to put a 24 inch wide roll, it doesn’t fit! Thank you for the videos, you gave me the idea to start a small business at my college.

      Hey Jessi, thank you for the compliment. It depends on the printer you use but for me I can use a HP, Epson or Canon branded canvas roll and it works fine.

    What the setting for poster paper ?

    • @koachkrafts
      @koachkrafts  8 месяцев назад

      This would depend on the size of the paper. You can run it through the feed and the printer will actually scan the paper type.

      Yes you actually can put a thicker paper into the feeder and print on applications like wedding cards. That is very much doable

    Hi good info, question , is there any other printer more compact with similar specs for canvas that can print all the sizes that you do. I saw your other video I want to start with this business but my place is small. One more question where can I download the photos for print on canvas?

    • @koachkrafts
      @koachkrafts  Год назад

      Pictures will have to be create or bought or provided by your client. And as far as the printer goes, it will be tough to find anything smaller than this. Because of the size of the roll, ink tanks and other parts that go into creating a quality print, it cant be compact.

    I am following these steps exactly and after I press feed paper, I don't get an option to choose the type of paper and then it keeps saying that the paper is jammed. Can you help me?

    Hello, I tried to send you an email but I kept getting “Address not found”. I’m starting a canvas business this month, and have a few specific questions that I haven’t seen addressed thus far. I was wondering if you have an email I can email or discord? Thanks! 😎🙏

    Hey Koach do you have any issues with the ink coming off the corners of your canvases when you stretch them? I'm using matte artistic canvas from lexjet and the ink doesn't seem to set as well as I think it should. We've been using moab's desert varnish to protect them but it adds time and cost to each canvas. I'm thinking of trying a different canvas manufacturer. What's the name of the canvas you like to use?

    • @koachkrafts
      @koachkrafts  Год назад +1

      My canvas paper is usually from Epson or Canon. I have used other companies as well and never experienced this issue. Is it happening on specific colours? Is the canvas completely dry when you are folding it?

    • @jansonseibel2803
      @jansonseibel2803 Год назад

      @@koachkrafts Thanks for getting back to me! I think I'm going to order a roll of the epson canvas you used in this vid and see how it goes. Epson says their canvas has a polymer coating that helps protect the canvas when stretching. The roll I have is Sunset Reserve Matte Canvas 24x40 and it doesn't say anything like that on it.
      At first, I thought my ICC/driver might be the problem so I reached out to canon and lexjet and tried a different ICC and am1x file and I'm still having the same issue. I have tried both stretching them immediately out of the print and waiting a couple days. It doesn't seem to make a difference either way. It happens on every color I've tried it on, it's not like it comes off in big chunks but instead, the ink separates from the canvas from even light abrasion. Do you have an email or a social I could reach out to you on to send you some pics so you can see what I mean?
