    I use the salt and baking soda. I mix the oils with the salts first, then add the baking soda.

      Thank you for sticking with me for so long! I’m glad you think I’ve improved, sometimes I feel like I haven’t improved much at all. I’m glad I come across as relatable, because that’s always been my goal. I watch other lifestyle and family vlogers ans though I love their content I know there is no way I could be so “perfect”. It’s not relatable to my life. I think that just comes from having money and being able to higher folks to clean your house for you lol

      @@CristinSierra you definitely have improved. I feel bad for saying this but as soon as I click on a video of ditl moms or homeschool/ cleaning videos if it seems fake I leave lol that’s why I love channels like yours , real and not afraid to show real life . So thank you for that , your doing amazing 😊

      It’s ridiculous. Adding magnesium to wash or rinse water? Typical YT nonsense.

    How long will the scent last with this method? Downy beads are supposed to last about 12 weeks...

    Your new house reminds me of your old house for some reason 🤔 thx for doing this vid, I am always looking for ways to save $, and ugh 😑 my laundry room is looking so overwhelming atm, I keep procrastinating on organizing it

      I feel like the houses have a similar lay out. Living room opens into dinning room opens into kitchen and master bedroom opens off the living room. I’m always look for ways to save money too. My kitchen need organized, there’s stuff all over the counters

    What scent was your oil

      I’m sorry I don’t remember what the exact smell one. I like to get them from Walmart back in the candle section. I know I’ve gotten the one with a waterfall on the bottles before. It’s the mainstay brand. Whatever smells like clean laundry to me lol. I’ve used a few of them. I’ve had some people say I shouldn’t use those one because they are for making a room smell good, but I’ve never personally had an issue and I don’t live the options from essential oils

    I wonder if using pre-scented epsom salt would work in lieu of oil? Also, aside from being cost saving this is better on the environment and likely healthier than chemicals in store bought. ❤

      ES should not be added to wash or rinse water. Contains hard water contaminant magnesium. Avoid this nonsense.

    The oil doesn't ruin your clothes?

    • @CristinSierra
      @CristinSierra  2 года назад +1

      Not when it’s mixed into the salt. I have tried adding the oil directly on the clothes in the wash and that has caused some oil spots

      ES contaminates wash water with magnesium. Avoid!

    Essential oils should be used for anything next to the skin. The 'fragrance oil' is for the aroma therapy machines. Just a fyi.
