Fellow, "older gamer", here 🙂, I enjoy your videos and appreciate your obsesrvations and considered thoughts and recommendations. I'm a Sim-racing VR enthusiast as well. Mostly AC, ACC, and AMS 2. I find a lot of similarities in our expericences, and get a lot out of your conclusions. I use the KIWI Head Strap mod with integrated battery pack. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hi fellow older gamer :) Good to meet you and thank you for the feedback. Yes, I mostly approach my reviews from the point of view of, what did I experience, and did I think it offered me value for money. With the exception of the VR Rock inserts, I have paid for everything I use, and this does allow me to be very honest about whether or not I am getting value for money, which for me is part of the equation, the other being, is it fun :) I am mostly using iRacing, but I think I need a break from that service as the wrecking, intentional and otherwise, is being to grind at my soul. I will probably try (again) to get into ACC and also, start to do more multiplayer on AMS2, as mostly I use it for single player experiences, but I do wish it had a career mode. I did look a the Kiwi strap, as I love their products, but in the end, I went for the halo design, simply because it was so good on the Quest 2 and is even better on the Quest 3. Went with the S3 myself and agree with everything you mentioned can’t go wrong with this strap
They are a good company, maybe they will do facial interfaces soon that go with the M3 or S3? That would be ideal. Unless you go topless of course....
