Which version of fslabs and prepard are you used in this video ? I have prepaid 3d v3 and fslabs a320x and does not work sec flight plan and fix info thank you.
Hi thanks for this amazing info!! I have a question how many enroute alternates should I plan when I'm doing my flight plan I always choose 3 or 4 alternates depending on how long the flight is
two questions: Do you actually have time to put in the engine out track, especially with very short turnarounds? Also do you routinely use the secondary flight plan for enroute alternates or destination alternates?
+Avantime .. yes, an experienced airline pilot will programme the FMC within 5 minutes, including SEC FPLN quick return and engine out track. Personally I used the SEC FPLN for quick return and destination preparation with multiple runways. Regards
Great to have new info! Much appreciated! I have a question. Would it be possible to make a video on the right procedure when getting a TCAS warning? I admit I feel lost at that point.
When you hear the TCAS, 1. AP off ( I guess) 2. FDs off Listen to TCAS's Instructions Climb or descend 3.when you hear clear of conflict. 4. Inform ATC about traffic. 5. FDs ON again and come back to your crossing Flight Level. ( May contain wrong information )
Thank you so much for your help. I got them in the end and even Keven Menard helped me. I was missing out the word 'user: Keep up the good work with your great video's. I really enjoy them. Thank you once again.
Well, that's... ridiculous. I already paid for the sim, including physic, airports, textures, and planes, and now, I need to pay next, or even more, for exactly the same thing, but with just a bit better optimalization, meaning 5 to 10 FPS more. NEVER!
Black box- again great info indeed. Question- when you build the cyan extended centerline in the fix info page for the purpose of a potential eng fail on t.o. - will that cyan dashed line stay on both ND’s for reference until you go into the fix info page and clear it ( at 10,000’ )? Also I assume if you actually end up with an eng failure on t.o. - you can’t actually insert the fix info you built- you would need to use the heading mode to fly that extended centerline ? I noticed on your t.o. out of EDDF that the cyan ext centerline you built in the fix info page was not present on your ND- why ? Many thanks.
Usually you wont use fix info cyan line for navigation (So yes, you would need to use heading) or engine failure, you would only use it to increase your situational awareness. For Eng fail after TO, you usually would copy the active flight plan to secondary and change destination to your departure airport and runway at a point which you think is acceptable and fill in the approach perf for your departure. So incase of Eng fail, you just need to activate secondary. And yes, fix info remains there until you manually clear it. I hope i answered your questions.
Osama Abdel-Alim Hey Osama! Thanks for the response. I’m aware that the cyan line itself isn’t “ navable” but if you lose an engine on TO you need a method to climb straight out ( assuming the runway does not have a special eng out procedure). So for 14.2 nm you are protected straight out on the departure rwy centerline 2000’ either side of it. In the case black box used - if you lose the engine at v1 you’d stabilize the airplane by - centering the blue target, climb to pitch to 12.5 degrees, and I think ( in the case of airbus) you’d simply pull the heading knob out and attempt to fly right over the top of the cyan dashed line. My biggest question is this - exactly how do you keep that cyan line visible on your pfd during take off so you’ll have it visible if you lose an eng at v1?
@@rblauson the fix info line "Radial" inserted will always show in the ND as long as the fix you chose is in view and it hasn't been manually deleted. But it will NOT show on your PFD. Usually you will pull heading to climb straight ahead , but you won't change the heading to try and catch the cyan line at all as that will be considered a turn. Until you clear your EO SID specified height for a turn or you pass 1000FT AFE for standard EOSID. Then you can follow eosid, runway heading, etc
@@rblauson No worries, I think he has 2 different flights, thats why the blue cyan line wasn't showing on TO Roll. During roll time was 12UTC on the Clock, then at 10,000 FT time is 0923 UTC, also confirmed on the MCDU ;)
Hi. That is presently not working. But it would draw a perpendicular line to the current flightplan lateral path, so that you get an indication of the point where the entered fix is abeam.
@@Blackbox711 thanks a lot sir! Now I got the idea:) maybe a little off the topic but I have one more question: in fslabs after take off with 1+f config the flaps are automatically retracted (if no pilot action undertaken) and slats not just like in real aircraft. But in fslabs after retraction with slats still extended if pilot takes still no further action the aircraft goes into overspeed. I suppose something is missing there. Is there no overspd prot in this config? Thank you for your time and wish you a pleasant 2021 sir!
@@Blackbox711 yes sir thank you for your answer but my question is about shouldnt the aircraft hold the spd and not go into overspeed at this situation (flaps up slats down)?
Blackbox711, try 'Chaseplane' settings. 'On Board brightness @0. On Board Bloom @1.2 (default) and On Board saturation @ 1.625? Great!. Dave. T
Gives higher fps too.
Excellent video, as usual Blackbox711 !

Hey blackbox can you a cold and dark and some outside videos showing the new updated aircraft
Does the return key(LSK 6) work on the Fix Info page?
I tried but it didn't work.
Can you verify that please?
Nope, not corrected yet
Can you do an ETOPS setup from CYYT-EGLL Air Canada??
Thanks for another great video - are you considering using the FlightFactor A320 on xplane by any chance? I'd love to hear your opinion of it.
The FF 320 seems to have Fix Info page now. But it crashed one times, I tried to use it. Second Fligthplan is also available now.
Hi. Yes, you can insert data into FIX INFO page but it isn’t displayed on the NAV DISPLAY yet.

That was FSLabs Version 215 and P3D V4.1.
Request for a320 vor DME approach with managed mode and selected mode please.
+RAMAN BHARATI .. please check my other videos. I did videos of all sorts of approaches

Thanks sooo much for your videos!!!! you are a reference in flight sim world!!!!!
You didn’t waste anytime! How do you like the ‘bus in v4?
+Lazy Bastard .. I like it very much
Can you make the same one for Boeing FMC? 737,777 etc.
+Sergej .. sorry, no.
No cockpit shadow.. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial!

Hi end tutorial. Lovely. Thanx Blackbox.

Excellent as always thank you
Why I don't have radius NM function in my fslabs it only had radial
You need to activate S7 standard in the MCDU Options menu
Thanks :)
Hello? I do not know how to update the navigraph.
+kyu hyoun Lee .. that is best done through the Navigraph Data Manager
Thanks for the video
Thanks B.B. great info as always.
Thank you very much for your time and effort. This helps a lot 🙏
My pleasure.
Any chance of the link to your PTA settings/profile? they look really nice ! :)
+brudzik89 .. that is PTA from Rex Number 16
thanks a lot ! btw I really like your videos - they are very educative :)

Hi! You've got lots of nice airline traffic at the gates. What are you using to generate that?
That was with a program called UT Live
@@Blackbox711 Thanks man - your videos are fantastic... from a fellow pilot :-) Do you still use UT Live and do you find it to be any good?
At the moment I haven’t re-installed it. I do find it good, but at bigger airports it costs a little performance
@@Blackbox711 That's good information, thanks! Keep up the good videos.
Thanks a lot, once again, you helped me
I am glad you found my video helpful 👍🏼

Thank you Bruno
Great video. Thank you for your expert instructions. Would you care to share your 'ChasePlane' views please?
Hi. They are shared under user:Blackbox711
Thank you but unfortunately I cannot access your views within the program. :(
I am sure they are there. Let me check
Start up P3D, load the FSLabs A320/A319, then go to Chaseplane - Community and in the left search window type in: user:Blackbox711

is there any offset function tutorial?
Not yet
R u upgrading to coffee Lake?

why my secondary flight plan not implemented? please somebody help
It is definitely implemented in the FSLabs A320.
it say "not implemented" when i click on the secondary F-Plan..
Which version are we talking about here? V237 definitely has secondary flightplan
not here actually. I'm using Fslab A320x but install in Microsoft Flight Simulator x
Sorry, that I'm asking that stupid question (I'm too lazy to do research) Is that paid to update to P3Dv4 for P3Dv3 users?
+TV FLIGHT if you own the FSLabs for P3D V3 then the upgrade is free
I mean the P3D, not FSL, cause that's what I know. I have P3Dv3.4, and do I need to pay again for v4 or not?
TV FLIGHT it’s not an update it’s a new sim. It’s like going from NFL 17 to 18 or FIFA 17 to 18. I.e you have to pay

TV FLIGHT ok no one else thinks that way but don’t get too worked up about it. It is a huge upgrade
