The Lambo dealership weighed up his past and future purchases (and knew they were on video) so it was more profitable for them to let the Urus slide. The final deal he made was literally just a cash exchange, no convoluted relationships involved and it was the most 'honest' of them all. You navigate the business world by making deals that both parties find valuable, they won't care how you treat them if someone provides more money or lower cost.
Is it just me or did this video only confirm that the corrupt system is unbreakable? As a newbie to this channel, Mark presented himself as more of a normal guy with money than a serial supercar customer who has done the exact thing the Porsche dealers want you to do with another car company. He’s spent the millions, making the lambo dealers the money, and it’s still that historical spend that enabled him to get the GT3RS - and he got it at overs, not list. So it’s still the case that no normal person is going to get a dream car like this at list price.
@@OneIssueVoterI’m a firm believer in “supply and demand”, but this is such a convoluted way to go about it. A more efficient way is for the manufacturer to auction every car off of the end of the assembly line, and for dealerships to not exist.

Two things - 1. She knew about Mark's videos and the call being recorded. 2. She didn't want a more depreciating asset like an Urus compared to Huracan or Aventador.
Here's a wild idea.. make more of the cars that people want, and make less of the ones they don't want. Increase the price if needs be. At least everyone would be on a fair playing field.
If you think that's how it works, you are clueless. If you saturate the market, the cars in question become common, and less people will want them. That's how you water down a brand. Offer every and any clown a car. Just ask McLaren how well that plan works. They will probably never recover fully.
Im actually so happy for this guy. Hardly ever do you see a RUclipsr (especially ones who have the $ to buy cars like these) doing the right things and being considerate of others.
Mark has shown some incredible values and morals in this series. Sometimes keeping business relationships and others happy is worth more than your own personal gain. Big respect.
Even though obviously, we don't know each other at all, I've been watching your videos for some time now, and there's something about you that makes me smile when I see them. Today, watching this series, I know what it is that really makes me smile and feel good. You are an honest man, and that is the greatest value anyone can carry above any material possession. I have loved how the story has unfolded and how it ended, without getting into whether it was intended that way or not, simply, your way of operating and relating to the people around you, once again, makes me smile. Thank you. Robert.
Yup. 2 months later it's still for sale on their website, for 20k less than the initial listing price. It was probably all a marketing thing anyway. They already had the car, but they were able to milk 3 videos out of it. And then pretend it was a struggle. Boohoo, rich people problems 😅
So basically , you still paid overs and only paid less overs than usual because you leveraged your RUclips channel . Which makes this completely unrepeatable to anybody and the dealerships are still laughing .
Precisely. It's sad that he tries to make it seem as this ws something the average Lambo owner could expect. When she said "I have seen your videos", that's where it ends. They know they are put in a bind if they refuse what he asks. Like with Mat Watson getting a GT3RS. Mat is clearly in bed with Porsche, and Mark is clearly in bed with Lambo.
Mark, you’ve reminded me of a car I tried to buy 25 years ago!! Put an order in for a new Audi TT from my local main dealer for 6 months delivery. ( I had bought my last car from them). Cut a long story short I never got the car. Every time I rang them the delivery date was changed. Obviously their allocation was sold to someone at a premium. But via a contact I got one after 18 months in two weeks via a car leasing company who had a car coming in for stock. If you could find old copies of the Sunday Times motoring section from the 1980’s you could find brand new Porsches, Ferrari etc that sellers were asking a big premium for their option to spec now for delivery in 3-6 months. Then the dealers weren’t making the money but now they’re cashing in. Great videos . Thanks
I started watching your videos because of this and now have subscribed. I'm not lucky or rich enough to afford anything you have but it's nice to see such clarity and honesty. Keep up the good work
In reality, this video shows to build relations with your money, prioritize your relationships, build friendships on that relationship and then if all else fails - upload the video to social media and get millions of people to see it, so that these relationships and companies need to save face with PR, in the hopes that they are seen in a great light and build more customers. LOL. Just glad you didn't take someone else allocation. RUclipsrs really are one step behind celebrity status with perks and benefits.

Something about this doesn't add up. The guy took your Urus for £300k, which is now for sale on their website for £300k, and yet dropped the price of the GT3RS by £40k, so overall he's lost £40k plus his marketing costs etc for the Urus. No car dealership gives you a part-ex value for a car and then sells it for exactly the same amount.
He "discounted" an overpriced car that wasn't selling. He is now selling a used Urus for $30K more than what it cost when it was new. He made an advertisement of him self as a "good guy", "fair business" that millions of people watched.
I don’t get all this nonsense about getting a car beating the system by using the system and in no way shape or form is this something someone who doesn’t have a RUclips channel can do
Precisely. And while Mark may be an enthusiast, he still went over the heads of other Porsche owners, possibly guys like the one who told his story in the former video. Add to that the "force" he has applied with these videos. When she said "I have seen your videos" you know that while she personally may like for him to get a car he wants, she also knows EXACTLY how it will reflect back on her and Lambo if she refuses. The more I think about this, the more rotten and distasteful I think it is. I was never a fan of Mark's in the first place, but a video like this, quickly turns that into actual dislike.
Whoever you’ve got deleting all the comments telling you to stop begging Porsche to take your money and to buy something else if you don’t like they way they do business, needs a raise.
Well done Mark for exposing this travesty: Lamborghini 10/10 Porsche 0/10 and to think that both brands are part of the emission scandal Volkswagen Group.
so the take away here is that you just need to have enough lambo's to have one you dont want enough that you can trade for a 30k difference. This is just mental gymnastics and you should have spec'd your own.
Im new to the channel, but have followed this series. I think not giving in to the system and buying those cars you didnt want shows what sort of a bloke you are so fair play. You stuck at it and made it work for you and the good guys.

Incredibly interesting and informative series. As an independent motor vehicle engineer/assessor it is always very important to keep half an eye on vehicle values but more importantly, availability as this would would become extremely relevant in cases of total losses, particularly when they are high end with however many people fighting over the availability of only a few cars. He didn’t “expose” anything, he is the exact problem wrong with the industry.

Same ppl probably own both dealers!😂
@@OneIssueVoterI’m a firm believer in “supply and demand”, but this is such a convoluted way to go about it. A more efficient way is for the manufacturer to auction every car off of the end of the assembly line, and for dealerships to not exist.
It’s the perfect model of a “middleman” who makes money while creating zero value. They have to repay their expensive building.

This is the best ad for Better Performance and Lamborghini you could ask for - refreshing to see things done right for once
Done right? You mean him putting on the thumb screws and forcing them?
I dont understand how "Better performance" was able to offer him the car without any trial and tribulation ?
The honesty between your lamborghini sales lady and yourself is legendary. She could have stopped your deal right there and then . And openly said she had watched the previous videos knowing how much you wanted the Gt3Rs . Massive shout out to the local lads down Cardiff BP Performance for also giving you a deal of a life time .... I might even pop in just to see the Uras ....
exactly. trust goes a long way in business. legends.
She knew about the videos and that the call was being recorded. It would have been too much of a risk from her perspective to say no to a special customer like Mark.
It would have given a very bad image for lambo .. it’s called smart business, unlike Porsche who proved how fucked up they are during 3 videos
He had it over 1 year, plus it’s only a gentleman’s agreement. So no, she couldn’t have stopped him. But he gave her the option to feel good about it and build their relationship even stronger.
Anyway, this guy will be blacklisted from pretty much any and all dealer, as none of the brands feel anything for the bad marketing he put out. They will never openly say it, but it will happen.

Meanwhile Joe Bloggs who may have the money to afford one still has no hope. 😂😂😂😂

You definitely got a thing going for you with Lambo. They are apparently very happy with the publicity and advertisement. As she said, she has seen the videos. You basically put them in a bit of a tight spot. They know if they say no, they look bad on your channel. Just saying that it is important for people to understand that the deal you got there, is not what people without a media outlet should consider normal. I'm chucking this down to a similar bit of marketing and dealing as Mat Watson getting a GT3RS. You are in bed with Lambo, he is clearly in bed with Porsche.
I can't believe I got a bit emotional about a multimillionaire finally getting a Porsche gt3 rs 😂
Great video series, subbed, and well done to that Lambo dealership, very honourable and hopefully will keep you as a customer until the only thing you're spending is mobility scooters.👍

Having not watched any of your content before these 3 dealership videos, I will say you've earned a subscriber with your decision to do things the right way, not taking anyone else's allocations. If there is one thing I can not stand, it's rich people using their money to cheat the system.
Congrats on the car, what a dream
But in this case, it's the rich stealing from the rich. No poor people playing this game.

I also have huge respect that you chose to be ethical and not take an allotment from customers who have been jumping through hoops just to get this same car. Also, glad to see you wanted to be loyal to Lamborghini and not just sell your Urus out from under them.
Finally, I have huge respect for Better Performance and Lamborghini who chose to help Mark out when they understood his situation instead of trying to nickel and dime him. I have huge respect for both companies now.
Absolutely blown away by your relationship with Lamborghini. Mark, you're good man, have fun with the new beast. You've a great family.
Have you taken notice what car he has been driving on his last videos? It's called free publicity and PR management. Then the gullible and easily impressionable fall for it.

that was super cool. I respect that you did right by other Porsche owners. And the honesty of the Lamborghini Urus deal with your dealership was epic!

Lol, exactly my thoughts. I find it kinda hard to sympathize with a millionaire guy that complains he cant have everything.
I do like Mark.
But it’s hard to sympathise with someone who was willing to buy 3 Taycans and sell them at a loss to get a GT3 😂
“MUMMY IS GETTING A G WAGON!!! Oh no it’s GT3rs” 😂😂😅😅
Thank you. Robert.
The whole thing was a set up. Bought it from BP and wrote a script around it….click baited so hard.
Tbf, most people watching this couldn't afford a second hand Taycan..forget all the rest of the stuff
15:58 Did he really just say “See You Next Tuesday”? 😅
Probably what the dealers are saying about him now 🤣. Top man Mark, so pleased you worked it out in the end!

Crazy how I feel happy for someone on the internet getting a car I'll never be able to afford :D
Congrats on the awesome outcome and the new car! Enjoy it to the fullest, you deserve it!
The couch scene with the genuine smiles and high fives really got me. You managed this journey well, respect and congrats. Wishing you sunny skies and open roads.
And he’ll probably get more money having it on show - people will come to see it and maybe see a car they can afford or stuff they can afford
I can't believe you bought that cleaning lady a new Porsche, very generous of you!
They gave you 300k for the car and is listing it for $299,991, something is up
2 months later, it's still up but for 279,991 👀
so the take away here is that you just need to have enough lambo's to have one you dont want enough that you can trade for a 30k difference.
This is just mental gymnastics and you should have spec'd your own.
If I have all the mony in the world, I would never go down on my knees and beg for frickn car.
Im new to the channel, but have followed this series. I think not giving in to the system and buying those cars you didnt want shows what sort of a bloke you are so fair play. You stuck at it and made it work for you and the good guys.
I don't understand people praising Lamborghini in the comments. They do the exact same thing.... . The only way this went through is leverage due to RUclips. This is all above and beyond ridiculous. Is everyone here blind and doesn't see the hypocrisy in all of this?
Congrats on the Gt3 RS! You did the right thing. I knew you’re not gonna go the Porsche route. Lambo will thank you for this free ad! Best of all it only costed $30k out of pocket! Can’t wait for the next vid!!

No. This shows a man using his RUclips channel to strong-arm his way ahead. The truly sad, and frankly disgusting part is, that this series is all about "exposing" a faulty system and pretending to look out for his fellow enthusiasts. Sadly, this video shows a man bulldozing his way ahead, using the system, and blatantly not giving a chit about all those people he claims to sympathise with.

So, no one else is going to mention the fact that he was so upset proving how fucked up the system is, yet then goes on to do the exact same thing because it works out for him and screws over everyone else who has been gaining loyalty and buying tons of cars they don’t want for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
He didn’t “expose” anything, he is the exact problem wrong with the industry.

I have appreciated you sharing your experience and I am well and truly impressed with the Lamborghini dealer. I have had Porsche dealers trying to shackle me into not flipping a car that I have bought with my hard earned, I was so incensed that I walked away from the deal. I am looking forward to Porsche selling direct to consumer which I hope will stop all this nonsense. I wanted to buy a GT4 at list, was told I did not have sufficient buying history with the OPC, however, in the very same breath the same OPC offered me a GT4 for £116k ... I have recently taken delivery of GT4 from an independent dealer for £88K with a superior spec to the overpriced offering from the OPC, going forward it will be independents all the way when I next add a 911 to my collection.
