    I am so enjoying your journey along the Camino Frances. You have a calm communication style, it is relaxing to join you, and I can’t wait for part four. Thank you for sharing these videos.

    Hi. Yes you certainly show those who have not yet completed a Camino, all that is involved. You give great reasons as to why you are doing this it gives those who are contemplating taking on their own Camino a great insight into everything good and bad involved and those who for many reasons who will not be lucky enough to take on the adventure a chance in someway to have a little adventure albeit from the comfort of their comfy arm chairs🙏 Thank you and safe travels.

    Excellent videos. I have done 3 Camino from 2014 and I have watched your videos and seen how you have grown and the quality of your videos even more. The one true thing that any person will discover and only when they do a Camino is this statement “ the Camino provides” only someone who has done a Camino will understand. Keep up the good work

    I'm so happy I found your videos....thank you so much for sharing your camino with us. You passed by Castrojeriz here, such a beautiful place, I was there in March 2020 as the pandemic began. It's so wonderful to see it again in your video. I hope to pass by there again in 2023. Buen camino y ultreia!

    Excellent video! I've done two caminos. It's amazing to see the difference between the landscape from the lush green of spring and the golden, sere land of late summer. The approach to Castrojeriz in May was fields of tall green grasses and the sides of the camino decorated with thousands of bright red poppies. I could feel the burn as you hiked up the mount behind Castrojeriz. My experience on the downward side was totally different. The road had been supersaturated by heavy spring rains. Walking through a quagmire of thick, viscous mud was pure misery. The mud tried to suck your boots off your feet. My song I sing in my mind for the camino was, 59th Street Bridge Song by Simon & Garfield, 🎵 Slow down, you move too fast. You've got ti make the morning last. It's alright to hike alone and spend time talking to yourself.

    Hi, Congratulations, this third part was also very enjoyable. This was my favorite part of the Way, Burgos and Mezeta. It was a special experience that we were on the road at the same time, and I recognized several of my Camino friends. Thanks for mentioning me too, that was nice. 🙏 I will also share it with my friends.

    I'm returning to Burgos to continue my Camino this June - and this was a great insight into what to expect along the way. (Was starting to worry about your mentality though with the talking to yourself/outloud self-conversations! Haha!)
    I only have a max of 5 days walking time so hoping to be fit enough to cover the distance to León - though that will be pushing my luck a bit.
    Thank you for sharing!

    Congrats on your Camino Frances and filming your journey! I also loved watching you and Camilla on the Portuguese route. That's too bad about your Altra shoes! I also had issues with Altra shoes when hiking in Yellowstone and Grand Teton last year. They started ripping and falling apart! I've switched to HOKA trail shoes and love them!

      @thefasthiker Hoka One One
      "Torrent 3" Trail shoe. It has a wide toe base, which I prefer and much thicker sole, so you don't feel the rocks or gravel when hiking on trails. I bought them at REI.

    In 2021 my husband and I walked the Camino. It was on day 8 that my husband's back was giving him fits, so I walked from Logrono to Najera by myself. I had walked alone before so I wasn't afraid. An hour or so into my walk, I met a local man who was out walking and he asked if he could walk with me for awhile. He wanted to practice his English a bit. So we spent about 2 hours walking together, talking about many things including politics and history. He name was ALEX just like your Camino Angel this day. I'm betting it was the same guy! Isn't that a great thing!!! We are planning on walking the Camino again this summer, starting June 1. I'll be looking for Alex on my way!

    Very nice film about the camino. Did you practish aloth before you began the camino?

    • @Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker
      @Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker  Год назад +1

      No, I don't do anything special before a hike. I try to move daily, take walks of about 45min to 1.5 hours a few times a week. I also think it's good to walk in the shoes you're going to hike in before you walk and also walk with a packed backpack so you teach your body to walk with a pack.
      Then regarding this hike, my partner and I walked 260 km on the Camino Portuguese a week before. 😃There is a vlog from that hike here on the channel. 😃🚶🏼‍♂️☀️

    Awesome! Can't wait to watch the next chapter on your Camino. Question, I'm wanting to watch without the ads but before I pay for a subscription to youtube I want to make sure that the ads aren't part of yours. Because in that case, it won't make sense to pay. Thanks for taking the time to create these awesome videos!

    thank you for your inspiring videos, you are good at filming and telling at the same time, it's an art to make onetake videos. I have noticed that there are many pilgrims who have sleeping pads strapped to their backpacks, is it necessary to have sleeping pads with them or do they have them with them just in case
    Best regards
