Yes, there are plenty of places to eat, refill your water bottle, and use the facilities! And I passed tons of locals who were out on their morning walk along the coast. Such an amazing experience. Glad you enjoyed watching :)
I met a bunch of vegetarians on the Camino, so it's definitely doable. I walked with a vegetarian couple one day and they had brought snacks from their hotel breakfast buffet and at lunch they shared a big salad with cheese on it and a plate of padron peppers. Hope that's helpful!
Ensaladilla rusa was my favorite- it was similar to potato salad with tuna-delicious. Other things were pastel de nata, jamón con queso, fresh squeezed orange juice and Rioja wine

There are so many tasty things to eat and not enough meals in the day. I will look for ensaladilla rusa on my next Camino, I somehow missed that one!
