This is a reading and video put together by a 12 year old Warrandyte Primary School student about the origins of Marngrook - the start of AFL & AFLW.
When you next watch AFL or AFLW think about where this game started and what it would have been like to play hundreds of years ago. Think about the current Aboriginal and Torres Strait players, especially during the Indigenous round about how proud they should be to represent hundreds of years of history and how important it is to all of us today.
