This sort of skips over Centurion's contributions to the sport. The Centurion Wave was the first boat designed specifically for wakesurf. The Centurion Enzo SV230 was the first modern surf specific boat and still holds its own today.

Wake boats ruin the lakes for everyone who isn’t wake boarding.
Not to mention the erosion of the banks to damage to docks.

Doug, we are planning a video on responsible wake making.

@@boatinglessons I'm very curious to see that. I see more and more wakeboats on our lake and I think it's super cool; but I honestly wish they'd give me a bit more room than normal when wakeboarding. Particularly if I'm stopped or trying to load a tuber or skier.

@@boatinglessons There is no "responsible Wake Making" These massive waves these boats create havoc form everyone on the lake. They should be banned!

Wake boats should be banned. Most inconsiderate boaters anywhere!

The history of the typical wakeboat....:
Year 1: Manchild buys the boat and uses it to haul children young and older around in circles. A Shit-ton of money for gas. This all gets boring very quickly. It is used extensively to massage the ego of the owner.
Year two: Not so much time or desire to show off the old 'hole in the water" that you pour money into. It is used two or three times on the same ol' boring slogs on the lake.
Year three: Hardly used at all...., time for it to go to another manchild seeking ego enhancement.
    Oh well......

For some maybe, I use mine every single weekend and have bought a new one every 4 years. Maintained and winterized by my self, process is simple and it really isn’t that much work if you have it on your dock all summer
