Thank you so much for making this informative video. So glad that you showed an alternative to a tight grip. I have already started to incorporate this technique. Hope more people will see this. I can't thank you enough for this info!!!
The helpful hint to anyone has trouble with their fingers or wrists while weaving. Repetitive motion causes carpal tunnel in so many jobs. You need to counteract it by stretching your fingers and hands the other way. And even our backs and neck. Learned that from my physiotherapist. Thank you Christina for your informational tutorials. Especially love the wire weaving ones!
I know this video is an old one, but, I just found it.. love all your videos, btw. I had the same problem with holding the wire so tight. If you can get your hands on a "fly tying" clamp thingie, (fly fishermen use them to tie their flies).. it works great for holding the wires in a death grip. My son had one and I just thought of it one day. It clamps onto your table. i tried all the clamps i could find out there, but, none held the wire tight enough for me. This thing does.. maybe you can find one to try.. It sure beats having cramps in your hands doing something that you love!
