    Awesome! Except mine is attached to the wall above my stove...ugh..
    I love seeing videos where an average woman diagnoses & fixes the problem by herself... I've been divorced over 10 yrs and have relied on youtube videos for all of my home repairs. RUclips is a lifesaver for me!

      Very good......... Do your research first, then be safe when working on electrical units..... FWIW

    I have a brand new Sunbeam 900 watts that looks just like yours. I´ll try to check the fuse considering that the problem seems to be the same.

    Was the fuse blown? I want to replace the fuse on my microwave but it still looks like it's working. (I tested the continuity with a multimeter and shows that my fuse is not blown.) I was wondering if your fuse looked like it was burned out?

    Replacing the fuse is not fixing the problem. The fuse blows to protect the unit from having an electrical short and causing a fire. What ever the other components are are what you need to examine to determine what is bad and causing the fuse to blow. Most times its a bad magnetron but could be other components

    • @michaelaurelius8507

      If it’s a bad magnetron, then that’s a dangerous part to replace because that’s what produces the radiation to heat your food!

      your right , but lot of people also continuously use their mic back to back
      heating up entire meals , sometimes the unit doesnt have enough time to properly cool down in time .
      this issue used to sound crazy , however with the cost and economics of food
      it is reasonable to figure more and more people are using their mic to prepare
      full dinners , and that could overheat the unit if theres no in between down time.

      Don......... You are CORRECT Sir. Also the 1st. thing you want to do before "poking your fingers inside" the unit is " DISCHARGE that CAP'".

      My microwave this few weeks I heard the sound like buzzing noise what component cause the problem no heating. Ok I check the fuse and it was broke.

      How u discharge the capacitor if is not plug in

    • @alphajuliet5697
      @alphajuliet5697 Год назад

      If the unit was plugged in at first and operating before it broke down. Capacitors can hold a charge for some time... so maybe at the time u made this video, yes the unit was unplugged... but, I just know I didn't u discharge the CAP
