- Great sellers from scrap wood. This wood turning project is made from half a cedar tree branch. This is a popular rustic project at my craft show. I made this into a tealight holder. Finished with my friction polish.

Great projects
@@uniqko Thank you!
Hi Rus, at first I thought you were making a bowl. I was surprised to see that, knowing they are not your favorite. I like how you saved some of the natural characteristics of the wood to make the tea lite holder. Nice grain also. Thank you again, see you next video...Dan
Thank you Dan! I thought about a bowl for a split second but I really wanted a tealight. Thanks for watching! See you next time.
I quit burning all the limbs that fall at my place . Another😊 great one keep them coming
@@johnm.robertssr.2953 Thank you! I assume you stopped burning and started turning. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful. The simplicity is what is appealing.
I'm glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
Super Arbeit, sieht klasse aus!!
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!
Greetings from Ireland. Excellent. Thank You
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!
Nice.
Thanks!
Nice Rus. My kind of thing. Water glass or any 'fireproofing' isn't needed. As you say tea lights don't get hot enough to cause a problem. The metal 'container' they are in works as a heat sink anyway & anyhow, who would light candles, naked flames, walk away 😮 & not keep a watch on them. Then there's the battery tea light option if folks are that concerned 👍🏴
@@mashmade-airth Thank you! I'm glad you like it. I offer the battery tealights for people that are concerned. Thanks for watching!
I love the natural edge pieces you do what is the finish you use 😊
@@julierigby8549 Thank you! I use friction polish. This is a video of the mix I use if your interested.

Thanks for the quick reply i watched another video and someone had asked the same question and i read your reply I’ve seen it now thanks again I’ve learned a lot from watching and look forward to the next 😊
🤔 you keep speaking about a top seller pieces, how about doing some craft show videos & show us, please and thank you 😉👍
I've slowed way down on the craft shows. It's pretty hard to do when I'm by myself.
@RcWoodturning 10-4, thanks for the videos that you do due, but if you can I would surely watch thou, LOL 😉
I’ve heard of fireproofing these guys with a crushable chemical. Similar to glass end result.
Ya there is something for that. Not sure what it's called. I don't worry about it because tealights don't get hot enough to be a problem.
@@RcWoodturningit is called water glass, sodium silicate is the chemical name.
I would not trust that wood screw disc in your chuck.
@@robertcornelius3514 It works great.
Yet its made for that. Imagine that.
