A big thank you to Magic Spoon for sponsoring this video! One of the best kept secrets in Vegas is their celebratory buffets that are only offered on special occasions. And as luck would have it, Lunar New Year is just on of those occasions.
I had the chance to visit the celebratory Lunar New Year buffet events at Wing Lei over at the Wynn and Jasmine over at the Bellagio years past for their Chinese Dim Sum and Seafood brunch buffet and they were certainly over the top! Luxurious offerings from decadent dim sum, tender crispy peking duck, and succulent seafood from oysters to lobster.
This year, I'm excited to learn that Genting Palace over at Resorts World is offering a Lunar New Year brunch as well! If past experience is any indication of how good this will be, and I think they are, we'll certainly be in for a treat! As it turns out, it was even better than anticipated. Along with the peking duck, traditional lunar new year dishes, there were an abundant assortment of seafood from colossal sized shrimps, to fresh sweet lobsters, and even giant king crab so large that they do not fit on your plate. And as usual, while the food and phenomenal, it was be people there that made the experience exceptional. From the joy of the fellow diners to the hardworking, welcoming servers and hosts, it was an incredibly enjoyable brunch and what a way to start of the Lunar New Year! Spot on review. My friends and I raved about it. Although we had no reservations, the restaurant was gracious to sit us down promptly and the service was impecable.
These special buffets are quite extravagant.. it's a bit pricey but I think it's well worth it 😋

If you ever find yourself in Madison, MS you absolutely must try “Mama Hamil’s” southern style Buffet. Very impressive line up of Southern comfort food. It would be a great place for one of your videos!

That sushi plate at the beginning looks so delicious, but could be filling you up before you even hit the seafood buffet. Maybe that is their trick. High quality restsurant, will try it next time to Vegas.

Awesome video Tim 😄I like how you used the salad to decorate your seafood plate 😆watching you enjoying the king crab legs and lobsters sure made my mouth water 🤤 The way the chef was preparing the Peking duck right before your eyes was particularly impressive. ok, you finally sold me, im going to go to my local “Target” store as they have it in stock. 10 bucks a box pushed me away before, but i like that the sugar substitutes are the safest known to man, not the dangerous kinds.

The buffet looked delightful. I thought the restaurant could of done more to keep things fresh. Like they could of put the dim sum in smaller baskets & replenish them as the day progressed. And they could of served the shell fish piping hot, as typical for Chinese cuisine.
The hot crab and lobster would have been a nice touch... I agreed

Tim, my Culinary Friend, Xinnian kuliue. Absolutely incredible Dining Experience. The abalone conge looked amazing. I will emulate the lobster/corn Chowder. I would have filled my plate w smoked salmon sashimi. Truly i would have stuffed myself to the gills. THANKS for Magic Spoon, I have been looking for keto cereal. Today I went to my local Chinese Buffet. Had a wonderful meal though not the calibre as yours. None the less a very good dinner from my Chinese friends. Nightcap tonight is a good Scotch. Best of the Year of Tu.
